Unholy, Resurrected and Reborn

I gazed around me, its dark and empty. Nothing but a endless void surrounds me. It feels cold and damp, I can hardly breathe here. What is this cold abyss, I can't move, I can't see. Did I really die? Is this my punishment for righteousness? Was all that I did truly vanity in the eyes of the Lord? Bound in an endless void, I then gazed upon my warped self. This lightless dimension, will this place be my eternal resting place? Where is the judgement seat of God? Where is the Throne room, where are the Pearl Gates? Where am I? I've been floating in this darkness for what seems like an eternity! I feel myself drifting away, longing for the sweet release of death. Death is but a wish, but here, wishes never come true.

It was then at that moment that I felt a warmth draw towards me, I couldn't see anything, but I felt that someone was there. I called out to the warmth, but no sound followed. I felt it getting closer and closer, but I couldn't see it. A pair of red eyes appeared in the distance, I can only think that it was the one that was watching me. The eyes drew near to me, and I tried to reach out to it. I felt tired and restless, I then closed my eyes, but couldn't sleep. I felt the being draw closer, but I didn't open my eyes anymore. Something then touched my face, and I knew I had to open my eyes.

As I opened my eyes, I found myself standing under a pillar of light and the glowing eyes were in the midst of the darkness. I can sense no emotion or malice, but only emptiness and grief. The being then took a step forward into the light, it wasn't long before I saw the image of the culprit in the darkness. My eyes were filled with shock as I comprehended what stood before me. From the darkness emerged a Crusader with hungry red eyes, pale skin and a cross hanging around his neck. I knew who this was, someone I knew better than anyone else. The person who stood before me, was me..

The doppelganger then opened his mouth to reveal a row of sharp teeth and two long fangs hanging from both sides. He licked his fangs and walked towards me, however I couldn't move. He walked forward slowly and carefully, as if he was delaying himself. As he stood before me, he knelt down and looked straight into my eyes. His eyes were fierce and had a ferocious hunger, like a fire burning in my soul. He then leaned against my ear and whispered these chilling words to me,

"It's time to wake up Jean.."

He moved back and pointed behind me, I looked back and saw a blinding light. The light invaded my space and vision and then I woke up.

I threw myself upwards in a panic! "AH! What the hell was that!? Am I alive!?" I took a moment to look around myself. There was a thorny chain around my ankles, and my hands were completely healed, but then I felt as though my stomach was on fire!

"Why am I so hungry for!? Wait what the hell!? Why am I still in this Hell!? Did the Lord never absolve me!? Wait what in Oblivion is happening to me!?" I began to frantically look around and noticed I was still in the same place as before. I then remembered the Corpse that drank my blood.

"Corpse! Are you in here!? Answer me!" I shouted while panicking. I looked around and noticed that my eyes began to adjust quickly to the darkness surrounding me. In just a few moments, I realized that the Corpse was no longer in the cell with me, but someone else was there in the corner! My eyes were then able to see vividly into the darkness as if there if was being lit up, and to my amazement I saw something that caught me completely off guard! Deep down I knew who it was but I had to be sure, I called out to the person in a stern voice, "Hey... are you.. the Corpse from before?"

A soft and gentle female voice called back to me, "It is I, the one who you shared blood with." Oh Jesus of Nazareth, is this truly the Vampire who consumed my blood from before!? I couldn't believe my eyes! What sat before me was a pale, but gorgeous young lady with long and flowing white hair and blue streaks. Her eyes had a reddish glow and her skin was so vibrant and bright. She had a medium physique and a large bust, her cleavage showed very visibly due to the dirty linen she wore. She was still a bit skinny, but at least now she looks human... or vampire?

I had many questions concerning the situation and knew that I had to start asking her quickly, I asked her, "Hey, what's going on? I'm still very confused? How am I still alive, and why am I so hungry for? What exactly is happening?"

She looked at me and made a slight giggle, "Hehehe, you really don't know do you? Do you know what you are now, or who I am?" I shook my head towards her, she sighed and answered back, "Okay fine I will tell you. Yes, I am the Royal Vampire who drank your blood quite awhile ago, it was the first meal that I've had in what felt like millenniums, which it probably was. I lost track of time many centuries ago, or maybe even eons ago. Anyways, when I had drank your blood, I began to regain my former appearance and strength again, although I'm still weakened, I can now move around freely with no hassle. As for you on the other hand, I felt remorse and empathy for you, it broke my heart seeing you lose yourself like that, and it hurt more seeing your great faith in the Lord waver. I wanted to comfort you, but there was only so much I could do in that state. When you offered your blood to me, I knew that was a perfect opportunity to bestow you an ancient gift that I've never given anyone else before."

An ancient gift? No way, it can't be, did she just turn me into one of her? I answered back, "Did you actually... turn me into a vampire?" She simply nodded her head at me, "Yes I did, since you shared your blood with me, I gave you some of my own!"

She had turned me into a vampire! A creature of the night, with an insatiable lust for blood! I called out to her, "Do you mean that I'm the same as you now? Is that why I feel more powerful than I was before!?" She shook her head, "You aren't a Pure Blooded Vampire like me, you are only a half breed, you are still half human, but with the immeasurable power of a Royal Vampire." A half breed vampire? What does that even mean? Are there any major differences?

I asked the Royal Vampire in curiosity, "What does it even mean to be a Half Breed Vampire? Is there even a major difference?" She smiled menacingly, "Not just a Half Breed Vampire, but a Royal Half Breed Vampire! You are a Ruler over the Demons of the Night and over other Lesser Vampires that dwell here in Hell or upon the Earth! They will live and die at your command. Inside you flows the Blood of Kotta Tsuki, or also known as the Blood of the Frozen Moon Dynasty."

"Frozen Moon Dynasty? What the hell is that?" I asked. She crossed her legs and said, "The Frozen Moon Dynasty was the strongest Empire of Vampires in the 1st Era, and I was one of the 3 Heiresses." She paused her explanation, she then looked around as if she was bothered by something. She then spoke back with a changed tone as if she was sad, "Well, I don't want to talk about it right now. It harbors cold and sorrowful memories at the moment, it's a lot for me.." Her countenance fell as she said this. I didn't want to pressure her into explaining everything to me so suddenly. I'm sure it will come in due time.. wait.. WE DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME!

I suddenly remembered about my pending execution! I called out to her, "Hey! I still don't have much time left! They are coming to execute me soon, what am I going to do!?" She looked up and pondered, I begin to think to. She then tells me, "What if you tried to escape this prison?"

Escape? How the hell would you escape this place? I then replied, "How would I even escape this place? It seems pretty solid and can hold it's own." She took another moment to think, she then looked up and said, "Oh! I got it! Whenever the guards come to get you, why don't you attack and kill them! And make a run for it!"

That sounds much easier said than done! Wait... maybe that can work, but what about her? Is she implying that she's going to stay here?

"That sounds good and all but.. what about you? Are you going to stay here alone?"

She then looks down and says, "Yes, I will stay here, I will only slow you down if I came, besides, I already accepted my fate down here in Hell.. I am eternally grateful and overjoyed that not only was I able to talk to someone one last time, but I got to feed again as well. You made some of my dreams come true in this hellish place! My life ended many centuries ago, but you still have your whole life ahead of you! Don't worry about me! You have already done more for me than anyone else has. Please just remember me when you win your freedom okay!"

How could I just leave her here like that? No I will not leave her behind!

I call back out to her, "I will not leave you behind! I am taking you with me! Whether you want to or not! We are going to escape this place and be free once again! Do you believe that you can be free again?"

She looked away from me and said, "I'm still weakened, I can't fight, I can't do anything other than move around sluggishly, I will only hinder you or possibly get you killed. Please it's okay! I will be fine!"

I insisted back, "NO WAY! I don't care if you slow me down! We are going to taste freedom once again, you and I will escape this Inferno and see the Light again! Do you believe in me! Do you believe me that you can be free again!"

She began to chuckle in disbelief, "Like I could ever be free again..."

I walked up to her, looked her straight in her eyes, and grabbed hold of her hands, "You can be free again.. only if you believe in me, together we can win our freedom back! Together we can escape this Hell, and kill everyone who put us here. Do you believe me!"

Her eyes began to glisten and tear up. I knew I was reaching her, just a little more.

She looked away, and answered back, "I'm sorry... but I can't.. I just simply don't deserve the freedom you promise me.. I will only get you killed.. please just go without me.. please..."

I felt sorrowful, I don't know why she doesn't want to leave for. I stand up and walk myself to the Thorny Bars. I sit down and ask her another important question, "Is there others down in these prisons like us? Other people or beings alive?"

She replied, "Yes, there's others. Some demons, some angels, and even vampires like me, they all lost their hope long ago. It may seem like empty cells, but they are all still there, in each of these cells. Condemned for Eternity in a cage. Longing for freedom.."

As I begin to think, a wild but brilliant idea flies into my mind, "Wait, what if I free the prisoners and we make a grand escape out of this place? If I just kill the guards, then I would be able to free these sorry souls and we can all escape together! It sounds crazy but I think it might just work, if we can make deals with them that is.."

I call out to her, "Do you know how many prisoners are in this place?"

She said, "I have no idea, but we are in the 7th Floor, I believe there was 8 floors in total with a especially powerful demon in the 8th Floor."

I then had another question, "Are these floors ordered by how powerful the Prisoners are?"

She nodded, "That was very perceptive of you, yes, these prison floors are ordered by how powerful you are. But I wonder why they placed you here? When you came in, you were weaker than those in the 1st Floor, why did they place you in here, let alone with me?"

Not even I knew the answer to that question, maybe it was a mistake.. or maybe it was intentional, either way, we have to escape. I probably only have ONE chance of leaving this Prison, if I fail then that's it. I have to make this count, it's do or die at this point, no regrets! If I can just get the other Prisoners on my side, then my chances of escaping increase!

I ask the Vampire, "Do you think I can get the other Prisoners to escape with me if I promise them freedom in exchange for help?"

She pondered for a bit, then said, "I don't know.. but that might actually work. Some of these prisoners are longing for an escape, you can become their Salvation and lead them out of this place!"

Me become the Salvation for devils and ghouls? Sounds ludicrous, but it is my only hope of leaving this place and surviving! This very well may be my only shot! I need to put everything on the line for this!

I speak up in all confidence, "Alright then, I've decided, I'm going to become the Light of Hope, and I will escape this Hell by any means necessary! I will lead this prisoners and start my own Unholy Crusade! Are you with me Vampire!"

She began to giggle again, "Hehehe! You actually just gave me hope.. That's something I haven't experienced in a long time! Hehehe, okay then, I'm with you! Let's leave this place together and win that freedom that you're talking about!"

I give her a confident smirk, "Yeah! We are going to lead them all out of this place and give Hell a rude awakening. I swear, I will slay every last demon that stands in the way of my Freedom!"

She gives a wide and bright smile, "I haven't felt this happy in a long time! I will stand by you until the very end! Till death do us part! I will have your back in everything!" Her entire face changed, she had received Hope in a place of Hopelessness.

I looked at the Thorny Bars and said with pride, "Yeah, the same back to you Royal Vampire, together we will escape this Hell, even if it's the last thing we do!"

She looked up at me and said this, "I still haven't even told you my name yet..?"

She took a deep breath and said, "Well salutations again young Warrior, my name is Shizuku Yuki of the Royal Kotta Tsuki Bloodline, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance! I look forward to our companionship together."

Shizuku Yuki huh? What a pretty and exotic name... It has such a nice ring to it. I guess I can ask her about herself later on, but for now we got to start preparing to escape the prison.

It was at that moment that I heard a loud door make a huge bang.

Shizuku looked at me and said, "Here they come Warrior.. Are you ready?"

I looked back at her with full confidence and said, "Yeah, I'm ready.. Let's get the hell out of here."
