Good Angel

They both arrived at Panji's house. Laras is still sullen because because of Panji her forehead only hurts. I don't know why the man likes to brake suddenly.

"Is there anyone in the house?" Laras asked when she got out of the car.

"There's no one. My mom and dad are out of town."

Hearing this, Laras was a little pensive. There is a fleeting shadow of the party that did not wear that day. The day she saw with her own eyes, her mother was treated rudely by a man who turned out to be a friend of her own father. The same thing happened in a big house, with no occupants in it.

Aware of Laras silence, Panji approached her. Sure enough, Laras immediately took a few steps back. Panji knew Laras' trauma was too heavy to just forget. So very carefully, Panji kept her distance from Laras so that the woman would not feel threatened.

"Laras? You want to be treated at the clinic, okay?"

Laras seemed to be pulled back into consciousness when she heard Panji's question. She tried her best to hide her sad face even though Panji already knew.

"No, come on in." Laras walked ahead of Panji.

"It's okay here, isn't it?" asked Panji when they reached the living room.

"No problem," replied Laras. She sat on one of the sofas uncomfortably. Seeing this, Panji immediately went back to get ice water like Laras said.

"Here," said Panji as he put down a large bowl of iced water.

"Where's the lap?" Laras asked as she took over the bowl.

"Wipe for what?"

The tension that Laras felt was gone, what she felt was even more annoyed because this Panji was a little stupid.

"Yes, I'll wipe it on my forehead. Why don't you use a cloth? What do you want to use? Tissue?" Laras asked in an annoyed tone.

Panji just scratched his head that didn't itch. "Oh, I see. I guess just put it on the forehead." After saying that, Panji stood up and immediately took a rag.

In just a few moments, the man came with three different colored cloths in his hand. "Here I brought several, different textures so you can choose which one is more comfortable."

Snorting, Laras immediately grabbed a white cloth and put it in a bowl of ice water.

Squeeze it out, then put it on the forehead that has a lump very carefully.

Panji just silently watched, he saw Laras was wiping the wrong thing. The bruise was on the left side of her forehead, but instead she wiped it in the middle. Isn't that wrong and pointless? So with the initiative, Panji moved closer to Laras. This made Laras immediately back off. "What do you want?"

"Here, I'm the one who wipes. It's your fault, your wound is here, not in the middle." Reflex Laras backed her head when Panji was about to touch the lump on her forehead.

"Y-yes, here it is!" Laras handed the bowl and rag to Panji.

With painstaking also very slowly, Panji little by little pressed a lump on Laras forehead. Every now and then he apologized when he heard Laras grimacing, maybe because Panji was pressing her too hard.

"After this then what?" asked Panji when Laras felt that her forehead wasn't that red anymore.

"Yeah, it's done. It will deflate itself later." Laras moved to a sitting position.

"Have you eaten yet?" asked Panji as he put the bowl back on the table.

"Not yet, why?"

"Do you want to eat? If you want me to cook, oh or if you want food delivery from outside, let me order it."

Lara's eyes narrowed. "How good?"

Panji raised an eyebrow. "That, as an apology because because of me you can't eat rujak."

An idea crossed Lara's mind. She smiled broadly at Panji who was still looking at her in surprise. "Why?"

"Do you want me to forgive you?" Panji nodded.

"Then make me salad first." Laras leaned on the sofa, her arms crossed. Staring at Panji with a defiant gaze.

"I make salad?" asked Panji, confirming one more time.

"Yes, can you?"

"I can't, Laras. It's better to just buy it, okay? Later if I am forced to make it, it won't taste good. Afraid you'll be okay because of me again." Laras immediately changed her face to a gloomy one.

"Why is that? I want to make rujak with you, not the others. Just this once, okay? Please?" Laras please. She even put her hands in front of her chest, pleading with a pitiful face.

"But I can't, Laras."

"You can, look at the tutorial on YouTube. Besides, I'll also accompany you later, so if I'm wrong, I'll let you know."

Panji was silent, considering whether he should comply with Laras' request or refuse it? Because to be honest, at half past seven, Panji has a meeting he has to attend. Panji is also sure that making rujak is not that fast. It's six o'clock right now. Not to mention the trip to the office that had to take Laras home first.

"Panji, I've been thinking about it for a long time. How about it? Do you want it?"

"Laras, what if we just buy a rujak?" Laras' face was getting darker, she looked at Panji with a sad look.

"Why are you like that?"

"Laras, actually I have a meeting in half an hour. And if I'm not mistaken, making rujak is long. I'm afraid I'll be late, Ras."

Laras looked down. For some reason, she was so sad. "Well then. You just go there, let me go home alone." Laras immediately put her bag on her back. She stood up, then walked away from Panji with unsteady steps.

Panji rubbed his face roughly. lIf only his father were here, he could have asked the man to take his place at the meeting. But the problem is, Satya is not here. Then, Laras, the woman was quite stubborn. Inevitably, Panji immediately followed Laras who was about to leave the gate. Holding and pulling the woman's hand a little rough to follow her steps.

"Huh?! Let go, what is this? Where are you taking me?!" Laras was hysterical when Panji forced her into the car. The man then drove his car out of the yard.

"Panji?!! Where are we going?!" Laras panicked of course, she was used to seeing Panji being gentle, not pushy like this.

"Panji?!!" Laras shouted and shook Panji's arm when their car came out of the complex alley.

"Want to buy some fruit first, Ras. We'll make salad later in my office, okay?"

"Huh?" Laras was still gawking when Panji stopped the car and immediately went out to buy lots of fruit.

"Is this enough? If it's not enough, can I ask my secretary to buy it again." Without waiting for Laras' answer, Panji started his car again.

Silently, Laras suppressed a smile from rising. Panji is the best, he never refuses Laras requests. No matter how strange he asked, or how busy he was.

So, has Laras put her heart on this angel-hearted man?
