Back at Paradise #2

On the way to Baldimore, Ein called Alfred right away to update him. "We got betrayed. There seems to be a couple within White Storm that are no longer on our side. It seems that what Alyssia has predicted has happened so soon, you need to watch your back and not act so predictable so that you do not fall into any traps."

Alfred let out a laugh. "Do not worry about my situation. I already have full control of the problem. You just need to be extra careful when you enter Baldimore, I do not know what they have planned for you."

Ein went deep into thought and then replied before hanging up the call. "I will head there as fast as possible. Wish me luck."

She started doing the calculations and estimated the time of arrival but she realised that there was too much time for the enemy to make their preparations and act without her being there.

In the next moment, she shot up into the air and then flew at a fast speed towards Baldimore to make up for the lost time spent in battle.

When she arrived, she landed and headed straight towards the underground lab where she quickly gained entry.

Although she had gained entry, she found that some people had nervous looks on their faces so she called everyone together. "Everyone gather quickly and submit everything in the inventory and the ongoing projects! I want a thorough inspection done."

Every little space and secret area was searched and she did not find anything until she found several blueprints and a set of materials stashed away in one of her more loyal followers labs. "What is going on?"

She called the owner of the room inside and pointed towards the paper and other things she had found. "Are these yours? I need to know for sure before I go ahead and publicly announce it."

The person looked at them with confusion in their eyes. "What is this? I have never seen them in my life, how did they get in here?"

Ein walked past them and patted their shoulder as she said in a low warning tone. "If you wish to get through this then cooperate with me and help me find the rest."

They nodded right away and followed Ein to the other rooms where there were many things stashed away in hard to find places that most would never look at.

Ein placed her hand on her chin and thought to herself. 'Is this a big trap to place crimes on many loyal to the White Storm or is this just a delaying tactic? No, they should not have expected my arrival. Even if they did, they probably expected me to be delayed by a very long time.'

She studied the blueprints, the materials and some of the parts, tools or weapons that were collected and then sighed. "These cannot be legal. This must be black market goods so this is all to place crimes on Creation and many of the loyal members within Baldimore. There should be traitors within and the Marines will have some involvement too along with the elders. This is tricky."

Ein placed many of the items within an incinerator and watched as they all burned into nothingness which had completely destroyed the incriminating evidence.

She then walked out in front of everyone and then spoke. "I have come to a decision on behalf of Creation and as a disciple of Dr Tsukimi. This laboratory will officially be closed down and no longer be used for any of White Storm's activities. Those still loyal can follow me to the new location but to those that have become traitors.. do not follow. This is my warning! If you dare to show your face again and shamelessly try to gain benefits from White Storm after turning your backs on them then I will show you no mercy to you the moment I confirm your betrayal."

She no longer looked lazy and weak as her aura was overpowering many of the scientists within the room. "Those that have betrayed can leave while the others can follow."

"You cannot do this!"

"We have worked so hard!"

"You cannot abandon us!"

"Without us there is no creation!"

Ein rolled her eyes and stated. "Creation was always primarily made up of myself, Alyssia, Nica and Ashwin who are the main brains and inventors that support it. Over the time that has passed, there have been a few who have shown good enough results to have made a contribution of their own while the rest of you have only done minor jobs and research projects which have not had any benefit to Creation."

Her gaze turned colder and said. "You just had to ruin it for yourselves and turn against your biggest supporters. For what? A small benefit? We could have given you more! A threat? We could have protected you! For more fame or influence? What use is that when you do not even have the power and ability to hold such a position for long?"

Ein waved her hand and said. "Those that do not wish to follow will leave right away. The rest of you will pack up everything and prepare to leave. Be prepared to cooperate with what is to come next."

Many of the members that she had spotted looking guilty had hurried out of the underground lab as Ein looked at their backs with a gaze full of disappointment. "Their minds and abilities could have been put to use effectively but they just had to let their own greed get in the way."

There was then a loud knock on the heavy door as it became louder and more urgent.
