The North of Larm, close to the Demise Mountains
“Dang, we should’ve just dragged Shiro along with us back then.”, Kana grumbled. She sluggishly marched after the rest of the party.
“Yeah, it’s unfortunate, but there’s nothing more we can say once it's her decision," Akari said. As usual, they’re eyes remained closed in contemplation. “Wouldn’t you agree, Daisuke?”
There was no response.
“Daisuke?” Akari called out to him once more, finally prying him from his thoughts. Daisuke shook his head and blinked a few times.
“Hm? Oh, uh, yes. Indeed.”, His voice didn’t have its usual vigour. There was a weird vagueness to it. A sense of listlessness Daisuke never showed.
In truth, Daisuke was thinking about a lot of things. Not to say Shiro staying back in a city of monsters wasn’t a concerning thing, but she had Marcus and his party of adventurers there. At the very least, they’d help her escape. It seemed they were really good at running away from perilous situations.
