What a good talent! Amazing those present

Light had no interest in either the silver or the discount, he just wanted to see if he could get a weapon for himself.

"By the way, Zirion, my son asked me a while ago if your son was going to participate in the fight," Albert commented.

"He won't, Helleans still doesn't feel qualified to learn about the sword, so I did this little fight to see if he would motivate himself and finally decide to learn," Zirion replied.

"Mmm, well, you heard, son, you must motivate Helleans if you want to confront him," Albert laughed as he patted his son.

Light saw something absurd, it was not as if he was begging to fight against that child. If he could only hide behind his father, what could he expect?

Light was able to meet Helleans's mother, so he saw that her appearance did not match much with her son either. Light felt that a bit strange, but he didn't give it much thought either.

Two hours passed very strikingly, the people of the town danced or told stories of how they defeated the burrow of wild ants. According to them, a group of the most capable of the guards went to the forest.

There, they brought oil that they used to light the lamps and then when they got to where the creatures were, a great fight took place. After a while and being able to see that the passage was clear to the burrow, the guards distracted the remaining ants while one threw the oil and set it on fire.

The explosion destroyed the burrow and killed the ants inside. Thus, they were victorious.

They also sang the odd song, and then it was time for the fight. People gathered on a small stage that the villagers made with large rocks and created a circle.

Four long torches lit the circle and a shelf of wooden swords was present in view.

The first to fight were the adults. They fought both good and bad, some exaggerated in movements and others made good attacks. Light observed a fight where his father was fighting a certain Mark.

Light's father dodged the opponent's lunges and cuts, in an oversight where Mark exaggerated the attack, stumbled and lost his balance a bit. Albert in that one carried out the same attack as his son in a day of practice with him.

Albert crouched down and gave his rival a sharp stab in the calf, he fell to his knees due to pain and Albert took the opportunity to get up and hit Mark on the forehead. Light only smiled to see the move his father made.

This is how Albert won his second battle. The night passed and the fight also advanced. Zirion decided to participate and as expected of the head of the guards, he had won. Of course, not before having had an intense fight against the finalist, who was Light's father.

Now it was the turn of the young people. The children who would participate were under the age of 13, which, Light, did not complain.

According to him, at least they would know how to defend themselves well. Light was hopeful that he could win in this fight, having a battle spirit was good too, and shaping it at a young age was beneficial.

Sure, one of the teachings of the books and of his father is that he never underestimate his enemies. Light in this fight would have confidence and care. After all, it was his first fight with other children who were not his age, and so to speak, his first real battle.

After a few struggles, it was finally Light's time. Light's opponent was a 12-year-old boy, he wasn't that tall, but he wasn't that short either, he was the perfect size for Light's blows to hit everywhere.

"Do your best, son, don't push yourself, remember what I taught you," Albert advised his son. Light nodded understanding his father.

"Be careful son, don't hurt yourself too much," Ailyn added.

Light's rival boy had chosen a wooden sword, although they were made of wood, the material was good and resistant, so suffering a strong blow would not be a problem.

Even knowing that, Light decided to enter the circle without a sword. People were a bit surprised, that a 4 year old boy fights without even a weapon. He would definitely get hurt.

"Son, won't you use a sword?" Albert asked a little concerned.

It was one thing to fight sword with sword and bare hand with bare hand, but ... to fight a sword with bare hands. Even if it is made of wood, I would still suffer

"Don't worry, father, I'll be fine."

"Your son has guts, Albert." That's good, ”the village chief congratulated.

Light ignored the crowd and focused on his rival, also recalling his training days and the moves he learned. Light inhaled and exhaled and after a few seconds, the fight started.

Light reached the boy's shoulders, so he felt calmer, the battle could flow more calmly by being sure that his blows could arrive well.

The boy with the sword launched himself at Light making a vertical cut, Light had good reflexes and was agile, as well as being familiar with the attack, so dodging it was not a problem.

Cut after cut was avoided without much problem for Light, people were amazed to see how a child 8 years younger than the other could avoid the cuts. Both Zirion and his father had nodded at how well Albert's son was holding up.

The 12-year-old boy, seeing that his vertical and parallel cuts were not working, quickly changed to a horizontal cut, Light felt the attack change and with speed he ducked and then turned, kicking him in the opponent's legs, knocking him down.

When the boy fell, Light put his leg in his right hand where he had the sword and he immediately released him.

"You lack coordination and your base is a bit shaky, but good cuts."

The village no doubt fell silent upon seeing the result of the fight, the village chief applauded in amazement to see good clean movements well executed by a boy who was only 4 years old.

"You seem to have taught your son well, Albert, his performance was good," Zirion congratulated.

"Ah?" yes, well, he's my son after all" laughed Albert, he was also amazed at how well his son did.

"Not only did he beat his opponent, but he was able to observe and take advantage of the flaws and also took the trouble to point them out, no doubt very good," the village chief laughed happily.

The boy's father took the defeat very well and in fact, he also said that he would improve the defects of his son. That was fine, Light did not want to win the enmity of anyone in the village, after all, they were all kind and calm.

The fights continued and Light was back in action after a while. His rival was now a 10-year-old boy. According to his father, the boy has been in training for 3 years, so he is more prepared.

Light took his rival more seriously and entered the arena again without a weapon, caution and new movements emerged from Light. The rival took a good attack pose so Light waited for him to make his first move.

The boy was a little faster than the previous one, without a doubt the good training could be noticed. But Light noticed a smile on the individual's face, that gave him to understand that the attacker was confident.

Light would certainly take advantage of that and surprise her in just a few moves. When the boy arrived in front of Light, he made a horizontal cut in the hope that Light would crouch down to kick him.

The thing was, he didn't expect Light to take a big leap and in a few blinks he would have received a kick to the chest making him recoil while he coughed and complained in pain. Such an attack movement was applauded by the people, very agile and fast.

The boy after a few seconds recovered and then attacked Light again. This time he would try a quick lunge to the pit of his stomach to cut off the oxygen and gain the upper hand.

When he performed the lunge, Light with his left arm and moving his upper body to the right, took the right arm of the boy with whom he made the attack and with his right hand hit him in the stomach.

Light did the same thing the boy wanted to do but without a weapon. When Light hit him, the boy immediately lost his breath and wanted to move away to get it back, but being still young, anxiety won over him and Light took the opportunity to twist his wrist a little and drop the sword.

Everything was short and precise. Once again, Light had won with little movement and bare hands.

The inhabitants and their parents could not help but applaud with excitement and amazement, even the head of the village continued to flatter the child. If he continued like this, in the future he could be a good warrior, even better than him.

"I'm surprised you taught your little one good moves, you had it well hidden from yourself," Zirion argued.

"Actually, I didn't teach you those moves," Albert said as he rubbed his cheek with a smile.

"Really? And how is he able to perform such good and precise attacks?" Zirion's father asked in amazement.

"I think I know where from," Susan commented "If I remember correctly, I had a book where there were sword and fighting techniques, so Light might find it and read it.

"Oh, are you talking about the book on how to be a good gentleman?" The old man recalle "If so, then his level of perception and his intelligence are amazing too" he said even more surprised.

"Wow, you seem to have a good, talented son too, Albert," Zirion added" I guess my son is not the only one with good intelligence and perception, there is another talent in town.

"Not only is he talented, but the boy is cute too," Zirion's mother commented as she smiled.

The village chief realizing that his village had two great children, he would surely attract attention and the village could finally prosper. He couldn't help but speak it out loud and toast it.

The fights began again and finally it was the finals. Light would fight this time with a thirteen-year-old boy. Both age and size were something that surpassed little Light, even so, he was not discouraged, rather he was excited.

The boy received training from the age of 8, so he had been training for 5 years and good discipline. This time the enemy would not trust himself and his attacks would be more accurate.

The boy was stronger and that excited the 4-year-old with an appearance of a 6-year-old. For this battle, Light finally decided to use a sword. Each person was attentive to his movements, since they did not know how good he was with the sword.

The rival took a defensive position, while Light took an attack position. Bending his knees a little and holding the sword with both hands, Light lunged at the 13-year-old.

His attack speed was fast, and his movements were perfect, so when the two of them collided with swords, the rival boy ducked slightly from the impact. The force that Light exerted in the attack surprised him greatly.

He didn't expect a 4-year-old to have such strength. The boy was able to push Light back and he quickly made an attack.

Light dodged and swung his sword and defended himself well. The only bad thing was that because of his size, the blows went straight to the bottom and that led him more than anything to defend himself.

In one of those, Light managed to bounce off the opponent's attack and quickly, inhaled air and quickly positioned himself behind the boy. He was surprised and tried to defend himself but it was too late, Light made a semi-vertical cut, knocking the boy down.

After having knocked him down, Light pointed his sword at the young man's chest and then released the trapped air.

After some applause, Light took the victory and helped lift the young man.
