Please Save Her Doctor

The next day, I woke up to find a plate of bacon, bread, eggs, butter, cheese and juice in front of me. "Rise and shine", Emma's sweet voice rang in my ears. I smiled at her. "How are you feeling now?", I asked looking at her cheek. I saw the swelling had reduced. What a relief! She answered my question "With you by my side, I am absolutely okay", she said and giggled.

Emma and I had breakfast, we talked, laughed, and I even bought flowers for her. We took a grand tour round the hotel enjoying every part of it. I also discovered that Emma had a good singing voice just like me. "It's like it runs in the family", I thought and smiled. After all, I too was a musician. I knew Emma had always loved swimming when we were younger so I deliberately took her to the swimming pool even though I knew she had forgotten how to swim because of her amnesia.

To prevent her from drowning, I stayed beside her throughout our time in the pool. It was really fun to finally be with my sister. The question was that if she regained her memory, would she still show the same love and affection to me? Emma said she was tired and wanted to rest for a while so I carefully brought her out of the pool. While I was talking with some other men in the pool, I didn't notice Emma getting up from the chair.

She wanted to jump into the water and surprise me by trying to swim alone. Unfortunately, she slipped and hit her head on the edge of the pool. She screamed and I rushed to her. Then, I saw blood and she blacked out. "Emma", I screamed. "Somebody please call the doctor." The doctor came and bandaged her head but said she needed to go to the hospital.

I called Dr Angelica and once I arrived, she was waiting outside with two nurses holding a stretcher. Once she saw me, they immediately rushed to the car and took her out. They placed her carefully on the stretcher and Dr Angelica screamed "It's really serious. Emergency room now", and like that my sister was rushed into ICU.

After an hour, Dr Angelica came out and said "There's good news and bad news. The good news is that we were able to stop the bleeding and she's on the verge of regaining her memory.". "What's the bad news?", I asked bracing myself for the worst. She sighed and replied "The bad news is that she has lost a lot of blood and she has gone into a coma". "Coma? No please. I love her too much. Please do everything you can to save her. Money is not a problem. When will she wake up?", I yelled. "Calm down Mr Jeff. It will take a lot of time for her to recover but I have no idea when she will regain consciousness.", she concluded and left.

I turned around to see Mr and Mrs Daisy standing there. Mrs Daisy began crying "Where's my daughter? Your secretary told me to come here. What did you do to her? That was why I wanted her to avoid you from the very beginning because I knew you were nothing but trouble." I couldn't keep quiet and let this woman falsely accuse me. I screamed at her "You are a total stranger to my sister. Who told you she is in a coma because of me? You just walk in here and open your mouth to say what is not true. Did you know she was slapped and humiliated at her studio? You wouldn't know because you weren't there for her when she needed you most. You claim to love her but you don't. I can see the reason you don't have any children. Actually, you couldn't and that was why you abducted someone else's child." Oops! I went to far. Mrs Daisy broke down in tears and ran out. This woman had caused me to lose my temper now I had said something sensitive.

Mr Daisy looked at me angrily and ran after Mrs Daisy. They didn't come back after. A few days later, something happened that made me think Emma had actually regained her memory...
