Before Marcus had the chance to react to any of it, Joshua, or whatever was inhabiting Joshua's body, had disappeared out of the house, taking the pile of bodies with him. Leaving the two of them stood there absolutely dumbfounded.
"He tried to kill you!" Julianna pointed out without thinking.
"Yes he did, didn't he? Thank you captain obvious." Marcus answered sarcastically.
He knew it was a little harsh but he didn't know how else to respond to her pointless comment, and he was still catching his breath. His heart rate had slowed a little but it wasn't yet at its regular pace.
His best friend had just tried to kill him. Well it wasn't his best friend really, but he worried that it would have an impact on how he saw Joshua, and their brotherhood. He didn't know whether to laugh or cry at that moment.
"Great. My brother has gone rogue, now what do we do?" Julianna asked, expecting him to know.
