"He's drunk."
"Ahh....yes!"
"You never told me he has six heads."
"I don't know...I saw them today myself."
A loud roar of laughter echoed in the whole room as Lucifer slammed his hand on the table with amusement. Damon looked astonished at them and gulped the lump of saliva formed in his throat.
"Elijah is alive." He mumbled again, softly but audibly.
Lucifer looked at Damon for a long moment before he slowly opened another bottle before pouring liquid in his glass filled up to brim, almost spilling out.
Draven snickered before he threw his head back snickering.
"Alright! Alright! You mean to say that our dead brother Elijah Edgar Vll, is alive?" Draven said clapping his hands. "I'm fucking drunk as shit! Am I hearing things?!"
Damon was not worried about Draven's comments instead fear of what would Lucifer do was creeping him out. Lucifer looked unbelievably calm.
Calm before the thunder.
"Come on, Damon! Don't take advantage of us poor drunkards." Draven whined like a child as he again slapped his hand of table laughing.
"I'm not lying! You've to trust me-"
Damon didn't realised what happened but before he could utter an other word, his body was slammed against the wall, making shelves joining adjacent to it shake with impact. His eyes bulged out as Lucifer tightened his hand around his throat.
"I'm in no mood of playing, Damon! Dead people don't come back!" Lucifer growled as Damon's eyes widened.
"U-unless they were n-not dead in first p-place!" He muttered out with difficulty as his window pipe constricted and burning sensation lingered where his lungs were supposed to be.
Lucifer's jaw tensed as his eyes flickered angrily, fully sobered up.
Damon gasped for air as Lucifer released him from his hold as his knees met the porcelain floor marble, covered with lushy carpet.
Agony. Pure rage. Intense anger.
Being fooled by fate again was pure torment. How could he be so stupid? How did he never came to know? Then again, he thought back to day when he went back to mansion where she was killed, but the sight was beyond agony filled. The mansion was burnt down, completely. And Draven convinced him that her body was burned along with Elijah's and mansion. He believed that and spend rest of days blaming himself za for everything, for everyone's death.
But the rage that was creeping inside him now was far more than he had ever felt.

"You what?!"
"I-I'm sorry, okay?"
"Calm down, guys!"
Victoria looked at me with red, angry face as Elijah looked at me with his helpless jade green eyes.
"Calm down?! How can I? This fucking moron did something unacceptable!" She exclaimed throwing her hands in air. Elijah shrugged his shoulders and looked apologetically at her.
"It's okay. It's not like someone will recognise us." I tried to reason. We had been living in this place for seven months and still we were undercover, no one knew we were still alive, right? Nicholas knew about us but he was still unaware of the fact about our death.
"She's right. No one will know." Elijah repeated my words and looked at me smiling sheepishly.
"Reynes isn't far from here, Sarah. You know what will happen if anyone knows about you, right? You're getting how much worrisome it is, right?" She was right. I couldn't afford to let my existence known. I was far away from my past even though my heart was still bleeding from betrayal.
And then there was another reason also. Him. I was not ready to meet him. I didn't knew if I would ever be ready. He might be happy without me, without his children, without my presence. It made me wonder, did he ever thought about me? Did he missed me? Or was I just a fool, like Melissa said?
"Okay, okay! Let's cool it down. I'm sorry for what I did and I promise I will never repeat it ever again." Elijah said as he placed his palm against his chest.
"Cross my heart and hope to die." He mumbled.
"Fucking moron." Victoria snorted before leaving towards the kitchen. I looked towards Elijah's regretful face as he grinned down at me.
"She's such a polite woman." I laughed as he mumbled.
"I can hear you!" I laughed as her voice boomed in the room.
"Indeed she is."

I absentmindedly patted Karl's head, who was sleeping sound fully on my chest, as my mind wandered.
Wandered to conversation we had in the morning.
'Reynes'
Every time the name of this place ringed in my head, my mind unconsciously drift back to time I was there. And unspeakable fear overwhelmed me.
It had been months since that incident, since that horrified night, since the moment when we escaped clutches of our fate before wiping any sign of our existence but still my heart was not at peace.
I looked at the clock.
10 more minutes and Elijah would be here for dinner. But with this little wolf in my arms, I was afraid if I could make something for Elijah. I slowly and cautiously pulled Karl away from my chest but this little devil had other plans, he immediately started whining. I sighed and again rested him on my chest.
Elijah can manage something, right?
I gently massaged Karl's back as he started snoring. I smiled looking at his cute little red nose as his jade greens were hidden behind his lids. How much he resembled Falcon! With same features and all. I wished that he would be here to play with his son.
My heart clenched thinking about him and his unfortunate death. He didn't deserved that. No one deserved that.
My thoughts halted when I heard front door open. Elijah. It must be him. We were not allowed to wander in day but in nights Elijah usually went to bar or club for fun. His words, not mine.
It was me and Karl alone, Victoria was gone for her night shift in local restaurant down the alley. She would usually be home by 8 in morning and spend her day with us all and depart for work at 8 in night. I felt bad for her.
I craned my neck as I heard footsteps in the living room. He was early today.
I gently scooped Karl in my arms and rushed out of my room when I bumped into something hard. I balanced myself as I looked up to saw.
"Elij-what are you doing here?" I said taking a step back. It wasn't Elijah. How did he get in? I gulped as I looked up at him with wide eyes.
"Hello, Sarah."
"What are doing here, Nicholas?" I said looking at his dark eyes taking a step back in process.
"I'm offended, Sarah! Can't I visit my friends?" His taunting voice made me look up at him fear. We were never friends.
I looked anxiously at him as walked past me and plopped himself on the sofa as he looked at me.
"Why are you here?" I asked again.
He tilted his head slightly before giving me a slight smile.
"Come here." He grunted.
"No!" I nearly shouted but before I could take a step back, an unknown force pushed me against the wall. I looked wide eyed at him as he took Karl from my arms and put him in crib before walking to me. I was scared as I tried to move but my body didn't moved slightly.
"A little birdy told me how you were supposed to be dead. How you ran away from a..... hybrid." His words slashed my heart in thousands pieces. My ears couldn't believe what he just said. We never told him anything about our past but niw he knew, how?
"And that birdy also told me how important you are to that hybrid." I looked terrified at him as he wrapped his hand around my wrist and yanked me forward until I nearly fell over.
I breathed out in angst as his eyes roamed over my body. Dread tightened my chest as his hand disappeared beneath my dress and grabbed my bare thigh.
"N-Nicholas," I breathed out.
"Shh...I won't hurt you, infact you were never in danger. I just don't like vampires, you know history but for you I tolerate him for months but now that I've known things about you, I want you to do me a favor." He said looking up at me. I immediately shut my mouth as I watched him pressing his body on me.
"Leave me! I'm of no use." I said anxiously trying hard to get him out of my face.
He chuckled as he tilted his head.
"I want you, Sarah. But now is not the time. I'll come back and there won't be anyone present to take you away from me. Till then do me a favor and don't let him find you." I breathed out in pure terror as I watched him backing away and smirking at me. Everything went numb and chaotic inside me. I was familiar with look in his eyes and I dreaded that with all my might.
I trembled looking at his dark eyes and nasty smirk.
"Your lying vampires lied to me, telling me that you came from south but truth is you came from Reynes, didn't you?"
What? How did he?
"H-how do y-"
"Oh come on! Don't you think we're living in new era. I knew from start you morons were hiding things and now I am confident that whatever information I have is true, including the fact that you yourself are descendant of a witch." He mocked.
He wasn't supposed to know that?
"A woman who carried hybrid's children, tribrid above all. Don't you think you've tribrid blood inside you which is dominated by your human blood. How pathetic, having witch and tribrid blood inside but you can't even use them to your own advantage, isn't it pathetic?." He leaned against the bed watching Karl's sleeping form.
"But this...this little wolf-"
I won't let him hurt him!
"Stop!" I yelled as he touched his innocent face with back of his hand. I was not Karl's mother but need to keep him safe and secure was nothing less than a mother. My instinct kicked in and everything happened in course as I grabbed vase from side and smashed it on his head. Crimson liquid flowed down his face.
"Bitch!" He screamed in agony as he toppled over in pain and I quickly picked Karl from bed and ran outside. This house was no more safe. I was no more safe. And....
Where the hell was Elijah?
I panicked as I quickly opened the door and ran towards empty roads. I didn't bothered to look around if he ws following me or not. Where was I going? I had no idea. Only one thing was on my mind.
Keep Karl safe.
My feet took me towards dark alley as I took left turn. It was already late and night was never my friend. My breathing was abnormal and my heart beat was accelerated. I was panting heavily.
A sharp pebble pierced my foot and that's when I realised, I was barefoot. Karl was still sleeping. What the hell did this kid ate before sleeping? Such a heavy sleeper.
When I assured myself I was away from house, my knees trembled as I stopped near a shop. Maybe I could ask them for help. With this thought in mind I entered the shop as wing charm cling.
"Maybe I help y-oh my god! Are you okay?!" My eyes looked towards the voice as small, chubby dark haired lady came into view.
"Y-yes, please!" I barely muttered out as she rushed towards me. She was old but looked friendly.
"What happened? Do you need me to call police?" She asked and I shook my head. Police was so minute term.
"I need...to call someone." I mumbled as I kept Karl close to my chest while time. She looked confused at me but nodded her head and handed me her phone.
"You need water?" She asked and I nodded. I was thirsty. My throat was sore.
She nodded before disappearing in backside.
I quickly opened her phone and dialled Elijah's number.
Come on, pick up! Pick up!
I sighed in frustration when his phone went to voicemail mail.
Where the fuck was he?
