CONFUSED

Leo typed on his laptop, attempting to edit and correct any errors in the file while also repairing the documents. He'd been working on it for four hours and his back was hurting. He exhaled as he sat back in his chair. He was exhausted and sleepy at the same time. He removed his phone from the table to check for messages from anyone or his clients. He noticed that his phone had been turned off, and then he remembered that he was the one who had done so. When he turned it on, a flood of text messages arrived on his phone, the majority of which were from Lily. He sighed, and his father texted him, or did he believe he wasn't in the office? Leo dialed his number, but he didn't answer the phone. He tried again and again, but he still didn't pick up the phone, and Leo dropped it. He was taken aback by the text messages he received and wondered what was wrong with her. Leo refused to answer her calls because he was afraid of how she would react, and besides, she was already causing him problems. Sometimes Leo wished he had broken up with her sooner, so that the issue of love and then marriage would not have arisen. Was he sure? He adored the girl. He doesn't believe so, and he's never been in love with her. He only felt attraction to her, lust, and nothing else. But he knew he shouldn't have done that to her; he should've broken up with her a long time ago. Yes, he should have done so in order to avoid this type of heartbreak. **** Liam just stood there, speechless, unable to believe what was happening to him. Should he leave or stay and look at them bickering between themselves, Liam was already tired of everything. He was about to sneak out of there and go outside. "And where do you think you're going?" Storm inquired solemnly. "Umm… I wanted to give you some privacy, sir,' he said. "Did I request privacy from you?" Storm inquired, folding his arms across his chest and glaring at Liam. Liam became terrified and surprised at how quickly Storm changed his expression, and he lowered his head and mumbled. "I'm very sorry, Sire?" Storm ignored him and returned to Sofia after he apologized. "Like I said earlier, you can't just barge into my office whenever you want and expect to be respected," he said. "This should be the last time you barge into my office like that?' Storm scolded. "I didn't do anything wrong, I just wanted to come visit you, is that a crime, doing what a woman is supposed to do for her man,' she was getting angry with all this. Her father keeps saying she should ignore Storm and behave in the way he wants her to behave and that is the only way she could get on his good side. Respecting him would make him want to get married to her immediately and she shouldn't not in any way try to correct him or show a reaction and that Storm wants someone he can control. So, she should ensure it. "Then respect yourself like a woman and leave the way you came," Storm said, pulling down his long sleeves. Sofia tried to calm down and suppress her rage. She knew exactly what she wanted from this haughty man. She knew what a son of a bitch he was, and she had to bear it all, after all, she was doing it for the sake of the family. Her family owed her a large sum of money, and the only way for her to repay them was to marry Storm. She knew that no matter how hard her father worked for it, they would still be unable to pay, and that the Alcantara family was their only option. She must do everything she can to gain Storm's favor. And when she was done with him. She is going to kick him out of her life. She should just put up with it for the time being. This will be over soon enough. Every man, wanted her to be their wife and here he was, disrespecting her. She should just endure it and play along and after all. This was just temporary. "I'm sorry, I didn't know I will offend you in this way. Next time, I will call you before coming to see you and I know you're all stressed from work and you must be tired.' She faked a smile and got close to him. "Do you want me to give you a massage,' she stepped forward and wanted to give him a massage,' but Storm stopped her and said. "I don't need any massage, step out and let me be.' Storm said in finality. He was getting tired of this woman. "OK, I will step out and please call me when you need anything,' she pretended to act pitiful in front of Storm. Liam felt sorry for her, why was Storm treating this way, his own fiancée. Didn't he have any conscience, a heart at all. Why will he treat a woman this way. This woman was so beautiful and sexy and why will Storm treat someone like this. Liam felt annoyed, who does he think he was anyway, just because he could get anything, he wanted, doesn't mean he should treat anyone like bullshit. He felt like stopping her and consoling her and tell her that everything was fine and he didn't want to fucking care are what Storm thinks. But, he was scared of losing his Job and he needed the money and he has just did something horrible. He allowed Storm to do all sorts of things and he even pushed against the way and kiss him. Crap! Liam's conscience was bothering him and he was doing this to a beautiful woman, his fiancée and the woman seems kind and will always want to do something to please Storm. Liam hates playing with people's emotions and feelings. As she was about to step out, Lily came in and Sofia's face changed and then she suddenly remembered that she was Leo's girlfriend or maybe fiancée. After all, she heard rumours that they were going to get married soon. She was relieved, she thought for a second that she was Storm's side chick. Then, she happily greeted her. "Hi, I'm Sofia and you must be Lily,' she said and stretched her hand for a handshake. Lily looked at her and gave her a handshake, and she suddenly remembered she was Storm's fiancée. So it was true at the time. "Yes, I am, and it's nice to see you," she cheerfully replied. So she had to smile and avoid making her appear rude. "And it's also nice to see you," Sofia said cheerfully. "Thank you," Lily said. "You're welcome?" she said as she walked past her and towards Storm. "Good afternoon, Mr Storm," she said cheerfully. "Good afternoon," he said as he sat down and stared at her. "What brought you to my office?" he inquired. "I apologize for bothering you, but I'm looking for Leo and I've been trying to call his number, but he's not picking up." She elaborated. "So, what exactly do you want me to do? Call the cops,' Storm taunted, which was grating to Liam. Can't he just answer a simple question without being rude. "No, I just wanted ...to... know if ...you've seen him,' she stuttered. "Nope, I haven't seen him either and did you check his damn office,' Storm asked. "I haven't yet. Father said, he is not in the office either and he's being trying his line and it's not going at all,' Lily elaborated. "Then, check his bro…' Storm suddenly remembered that Lily doesn't know about his affairs and he sighed and stared at her. "Is this really serious, wait for some time and you will get him…' "It's been days now and I haven't heard from him and not even father. Everyone is looking for him,' Lily said while panicking. "Are you kidding me, right now.' Storm asked and took out his phone and dialed his number. But Leo wasn't picking up either, and when he tried again, there was no answer. "Since his phone is ringing, clearly means he's not with it and stop behaving like a jelly fish and go see him in the office or his home," he said to Lily. "And, aside from that, did you two have a quarrel?' Storm inquired. He hadn't heard from Leo since he returned from his trip, and normally he comes running and happy to see him. But this time was different, or did he find someone to fuck and forget about his girlfriend at home? If that's what he was doing all along, he was really stupid, and he should have at least answered Lily's calls. "No! She lied. She didn't want to discuss any private matters with him.
