Recap Of The Day

Whoa, that was such a turn of events. How did I end up being the storyteller? Then again, I did zone out for the past few minutes while figuring out what to do for the coming days. But, I quickly composed myself and began remembering what I had done for the day.

"Well, Raiyen got an earful from his girlfriend. The way he got scolded by Mavislin was quite comical. At the same Time, she introduced herself to the Mage that I was fighting and me. Then, she kinda kidnapped me to a place called Morning Star Home."

"I say 'kinda' because I needed to get some food to replenish my Elemental Energy. That fact was according to Mavislin, but I don't know if that was true. My Elemental Energy got replenished after finishing the soup, but I didn't feel hungry until coming here."

"And over there, I met all the kids that were born out of the experiments from Albion. There were quite lovely to meet, but they were timid. Nevertheless, they were having fun, playing with each other despite their differences. And they were a bunch of hungry eaters as well."

"When Mavislin and Raiyen distributed their lunch within the communal hall, they just swallowed it up like they've not eaten for days. Either or the soup was very delicious to them. It was a human named Clement who made it, but I still think your soup is better."

"Thanks. They don't get visitors very often since the only ones that can visit them are Mavislin and Raiyen. That place is being blocked out in maps as well. The whole of the area there was created by Raiyen. If a human entered it without the two of them, the person would be in deep trouble."

"When the human tries to get out, the Time spent will stack up all at once because Time in there works differently. When Time passes in there, it doesn't pass in this realm. So they could spend years in there and come out into this realm, and only a few seconds would have gone by."

"That's why none of the children are allowed to come out from that place. Their bodies will collapse from the premature aging," explained Bryan.

Ah, no wonder they looked at me all funny. I looked like a human to them since I didn't have anything out of the blue, like different colored eyes or a pair of wings.

"That sounds kinda sad, but I'm sure it's best for them. I hope they do get a chance to grow up, though..."

"Highly unlikely, the few you saw within that area will never come out from that place. Right now, only ten of the children are not within that place. They are being trained by Mavislin herself. They are known to have a high potential of being in the Barren Pillars."

"So that means they would be your successors?" I asked.

"No, she is training them to be our Second Seats. And if the need arises, the best kids would be a Pillar. But for now, at the rate that they're going, they aren't strong enough to head for missions by themselves," explained Bryan, stretching his arms.

"I see... Afterward, Mavislin and Raiyen dropped me back into the forest and left me alone. Almost instantly, I was met with enemies. They were like the ones we fought, but they were normal woodland creatures. It rounded to about ten of them, but I managed to fend them off."

"It was then that I had to face off Rina. She attacked me out of the blue! I didn't even do anything! I fought her off using some of my Magecraft, and it ended with her running away. But not before her hands got hurt. I wanted to talk to her, but she vanished with the flower petals..."

"After that, I rested for a bit since I was exerting too much energy. After that, I wanted to look for the village, but I found you instead. I was also trying out a skill, but you caught my eye," I said, looking at Bryan.

The poor Slayer looked like he would about to doze off in his current position. I, on the other hand, had an outstanding tonne of energy. I don't know where I got it from, but it was weird to be awake for so long. Sure, I was tired, but I was back to normal after eating.

I stood up and allowed the Slayer to lie down on his bed. He instantly went to dreamland as he began snoring. I sighed and realized that this was going to be a night alone. Until I saw the familiar, glowing eyes of the Valkyrie. I nearly screamed, but then I remembered Bryan was still asleep.
