Vania Is So Cute!

"Although, the spell might get a downgrade in power if the Mage has conflicting Element towards the spell summoned. For example, a Fire Mage pulling out a spell made out of Water. Oh yea, I am not too comfortable using Void's Emergence unless it's for small battles like our earlier match."

"The skill uses a bit more effort, as in using more Elemental Energy. For me to Void's Emergence, I would have to work my brain into overdrive. I have to remember to exact point in time and area to get that particular object, or else I risk pulling something wrong."

"If I'd been serious in that earlier match, I would've used my Karambit, a physical weapon I have. Instead, the Kunais were summoned from my room filled with hand-made Kunais. Those things are good for throwing but not so much for opponents who can control what's flying around."

"That's a lie!" yelled Mavislin, pointing her little finger at Z.

The little girl pouted. Z and I were shocked when Mavislin blurted that out. I got closer to her to meet the little Valkyrie at eye level.

"What was the lie that Z told?" I asked, gently patting her head.

"Whenever we enter into battle, he would always use those Kunais first! During our first fight with him, Z kept using Kunais against us!" exclaimed Mavislin, turning around to avoid looking at Z.

Z looks so confused as he doesn't understand why it was such a deal to little Valkyrie. I, for one, knew why she was suddenly so upset. Two things were bothering her, and I had to explain to the poor Galaxian Mage.

"You'd said you used the Kunais only for small battles, right? Then when you were dueling Mavislin, you used those Kunais. The kid's upset because you are implying that the battles you had with her were small and not worth your time."

"Oi, I didn't mean that! Sorry, Mavy..." cooed Z, trying to look at the child.

"And one more thing, I've got to burp her. She's feeling uncomfortable after eating so much at one go," I said, carefully patting the child's back.

Z sighed as he continued his explanation about the skill.

"Another thing about that skill, it's quite common amongst those who are Mages of the Galaxian Element or Time Element. And sometimes, if the Mage is daring enough, they might try to grab Elemental Spells of other times into their current battle."

That's possible?! No fair. That's such a cheat! Then again, I was born into this realm with a full set of Elemental Spells and top-tier fighting skills. Thus, I am not supposed to complain when others in this world have spent years cultivating what I had been given.

"Who would be so brave to do that? I thought Elemental Spells needs time to conjure up?" I asked, confused.

"Well, I've got a Time Mage that loves to do that. I recalled he was fighting against an old friend of ours, and he snatched Mavislin's iconic shield out of the Void without any prior incantation of that shield," explained Z, shaking his head.

Ah, the leader of the Vigilanbte's Ancient Relic was called a TIme RIpper for a reason. After hearing a large burp from baby Mavislin, I asked Vania if it could induce a physical for her.

"Notice. Due to the Element Of Light, there is an Element of Illusion as part of your weaponry. Also, your previous life memories are still in my archives, and I can use those as references. Would you like me to combine these things to give myself a physical form?" asked Vania.

If you're comfortable with it, I would like to meet you in person. I quickly stood up, and my vision got blurry as I stuck both of my hands out. My Elemental Aura shone bright yellow while my palms were glowing in different colors.

Z and Mavislin looked at me with curious eyes as two orbs were starting to form from the palms of my hands. Finally, the two spheres were linked together and merged into a single orb. After a sudden bright flash of light, a pair of wings sprouted from the orb.

It was a small child... And she was so cute! The little kid had snow-white hair tied into twin-tailed braids using black ribbons. She had a pale complexion and cute cheeks. I wanted to pinch them! She wore a black gothic lolita short dress with black knee-high boots.

It turns out that the wings weren't for her back, which I had assumed. Instead, a pair of pink bat wings appeared on the sides of the child's head. A few seconds passed, and the child opened her eyes. They were blood red and sparkly. The little girl stretched her arms and yawned.
