Night Fortress Vs Aries

After thinking about it, I think I can pull off something better. I closed my eyes as I allocated Mordred to my Familiars list and asked Vania for a breakdown of her powers so I could use them to my advantage. After a Tick, Vania prompted me with the newfound Elements and Skills.

"Notice. You have acquired the Elements of Crimson Lightning and the Frenzy Skill. You can use them in your sword now without summoning Mordred," announced Vania.

How long do I wait before I can summon Mordred as a Familiar?

"Notice. You must get to the next level to use 'Mordred Pendragon; Knight of Rebellion' and summon her in the real form, not the Corrupted Version."

Ah... So I can only use the other spells now... Well, it's not as if my inventory is empty so let's see what I can do. As I figured things out, Tomoe went back into the fray to back up Bryan. I scanned the fight, hoping to find any weakness from Fabian. And I still couldn't believe it.

It felt like only a Ticks ago when it was going to be an easy win... Fabian's stats aren't as powerful as Bryan or Tomoe's, so why and how could a third-rate fool stump them? Something doesn't add up unless those weapons he could summon hold Elemental qualities like the real thing.

But he wasn't the only one who could copy things from the past. So I was torn between using Clarent at its prime form or one of the Grand Orders. But upon glancing at Fabian's profile, I realized he was weak against the Fire Elements despite having the Illusion Element.

"Alright, Vania. Let's pull this off! Activate the Grand Order!" I shouted as I raised my sword above my head.

"Understood. Preparing for allocation of Elemental Energy... Elemental Supply is enough. Permission to use the Grand Orders... Granted."

"The Son of the Sun God, epic Hero of the Indian Poems... He who was cursed yet, he'd never let those curses taint his nobility and heroism. No matter how many obstacles were thrown at him, he never allowed them to hinder his life. Going out with a bang against his rival, Arjuna."

"The Hero Of Charity... Let me use your power to win this war... Brace for it, for this blade can bring the King down with one strike!" I chanted as my Elemental Aura appeared as rainbow ribbons and converged to my sword.

The ribbons created a tall pillar of bright light, shooting out and breaking through several layers of bricks, revealing the night sky and the several floors of the mansion. Unfortunately, the light had also caused falling debris, and I could tell the building was going to go.

Fabian had to stop fighting Bryan and Tomoe, giving the two men the chance to fall back and behind me. The Ankou finished off the last of the kids and retreated as well.

"The night skies are visible! Oi, Slayer! You can use it at full force now!" shouted the Kitsune as the Slayer rushed past me and leaped upwards, using the falling stones as leverage.

"Finally! Now it's time for this night to end!" yelled Bryan.

As he reached a certain height, Bryan jumped off and back flipped in midair as his scythes glowed with Elemental Power.

"Known as the Golden Ram of the Greeks Myths, the ram that was sacrificed in place of the King's son. Symbol of Golden Ram, Saviour of Phrixos. Stars of the Ram, Aries!" roared Bryan as his Elemental power broke new limits.

"Dwellings of old... Hatred beyond the grave... Let the ocean wash your tears; let the lands be consumed by darkness. Grow, for the Kingdom of Night Stars! Fortress of solitude!" shouted Fabian.

The enemy stabbed the lance into the ground, resulting in a holographic castle wall of obsidian appearing in front of him. The Slayer threw one of the blades towards Fabian before appearing at the castle wall with the other scythe in hand to clash against the shield.

"Only one other person has that spell... Shame on you for using it without permission!" thundered the Slayer as he angrily pushed against the wall.

"From the looks of it, this person who used the spell shouldn't be significant to you. So why are you uptight about me using a spell from someone you've killed?" asked Fabian with an evil grin.

"Like hell, I would answer your question! Hurry up and die already!" shouted Bryan as he grabbed his other scythe and slammed both into the shield.

"Burn bright, the Rage of the Stars! From across the world, this bird is the symbol of Rebirth as it rises from the ashes! Stars of the Flaming Bird, Phoenix!" shouted the Slayer as feathers of bright orange flames came out from his scythe.
