Abyss Of The Horizon: Dark Arts Of Valokia

Instantly, the padlock in front of me shattered into several pieces and revealed the words, 'Abyss Of Horizon: Dark Arts of Valokia' written on a dark purple to black emblem in the shape of a cloud. Suddenly, I felt nauseous as the Corruption symbol was added to my library of Elements and Skills.

My library is very different from a computer or traditional library. It is filled with emblems representing Core Elements I have cultivated throughout my adventures. Like a mind map, I can add new Elements and join them with existing ones if they share similarities.

For instance, the Element of Snow is a subset of Water, and let's say I got the Snow Element later than the Water Element; I can link the two together. Then, I could combine these two Elements. As for the Element of Corruption, I was interested in the third spell.

The Abyss of Horizon is a set of spells created by the first creature to possess the Element of Corruption. Mavislin's twin brother's Original Spell. Boy... If she finds out that I can use her twin's powers, I don't think there would be anything to the left of me to progress into the afterlife.

The eight forms are random, meaning that each state is not ranked in any way and can be used randomly. Combining everything wouldn't result in another form, so it's a perfect Original Spell for all situations. For example, the Abyss of the Horizons stages were called Dark Arts.

Thus, the first spell I could use was Dark Arts One; Hades' Onslaught. A powerful area of effect attack that rains down the Corruption Element onto the targets. The next one available for me was called Dark Arts Two: Vortex of Charybdis.

Using the Corruption Element to form a whirlpool in the air, this attack allows the user to suck in the enemies. And after the spell ends, nothing will be left of them. Just imagine solidifying the most dangerous Element into a vortex. That would undoubtedly mess any being up to no return.

Last, Dark Arts Three: Rampage of Diablo's Curse. I've played the games based on Diablo, and they were the best, in my opinion. When I use this spell, I can summon a physical form of Diablo to wreak havoc on my enemies. Although... It requires a hefty amount of Elemental Energy.

These three forms it was more than enough to use against the Four Symbols and their followers. However, I still need to figure out how to function away from the Arks' radar. But let's forget that first and focus on the discussion at hand. I'll deal with those details later.

"If you say you can handle them without extra help, then I'll have faith in you and let you do your stuff. And meanwhile, I would be using the Qilin's bow you've given me. How about you?" asked Vincent.

"Oh... I'm keeping it a secret, but it will be fantastic. So, with the White Tiger out of the way, shall we move on to the next Beast?"

"Wait... What will you do about the hermit if he intervenes?" asked VK, keeping the papers.

"That's a problem that will be solved on the site itself. We know too little about the person to plan a proper strategy, so we aren't too bothered about him first."

Another wave of silence blanketed the room as we shifted the target to the Qinglong, the Azure Dragon. Literally translated from Chinese as the Green Dragon, this Constellation represents the Spring Season and is in charge of the East direction.

One of the most popular out of the Four Symbols is also part of the Dragon Gods, which symbolizes the Mount Forces of the Five Region's Highest Deities. If anything, this Beast will be a pain to fight against since it's the most powerful.

Vania has gathered from the archives that this Beast is the King of Winds, mastering the entire Skill tree of the said Element. So not only was this thing a dragon, but it could use the wind to its advantage, most likely conjuring storms to defeat its enemy.

But how about the reports from the nearby village? Did the Dragon attack them yet?

"You've got your eyes set on the Azure Dragon next? Well, I can speak from personal experience... That thing will be a pain to defeat because even with my men at the helm, we couldn't subdue the Beast. That thing was out of our expertise, and I wished I had known it from the beginning."

"Despite being a wholly anti-magecraft group, we have encountered several mythical beasts that use Magecraft and managed to defeat them without using Elements. But that Dragon was truly one of a kind... Currently, that thing is residing and terrorizing the Southern part of the Campania."
