Carla
Carla spun in a circle, not seeing anyone or anything but white. "Ty!" Goddess, where was he? Inside her chest, a tugging tickled her. It wasn't toward Ty, but farther away. Outside of her body. No, she had to get Ty out of here first.
Her muscles ached, but she ran ahead. "Ty! Answer me."
She couldn't leave without him. Nothing else mattered. Not being an Oracle, not Zarna, nothing. She stumbled. The goddess's words about forgiveness and bitterness repeated over and over in her mind.
All right. "I forgive Zarna for everything she's done to me and mine, just bring me, Ty."
The white barriers didn't reveal anything. Carla yelled, "No! Give me, Ty. I love him."
A shimmer in the distance. Gold and fluctuating. Ty! She didn't know how she knew it was him, but she did.
