Tormented by loan sharks, Lorn had lived the life of an 'ascetic'. He would willingly become homeless and live the life of a beggar (and only sometimes a pickpocket), so his hard-earned money wouldn't fall into his debtors' hands. Hopefully, they would finally leave him alone after realizing he's worth nothing anymore.

But realizing his plans, the debtors decide to sell him as a guinea pig!

However, Lorn finds a once-in-a-lifetime chance. The researchers were creating a virtual world using the digital space. And to create profits from it, instead of simply creating boring-old Virtual Earth (and calling it the Metaverse), they were making a game out of it!

Yara's voice reached her highest as she finished speaking.

The screaming ended and the plains were quiet once more.

Bombarded with the sudden truth, Lorn found himself unable to speak, but perhaps that was the right answer. Sighing, he uses Sense of Normalcy on himself and then Induced focus. His head cleared up and Yara's monologue repeated in his head, but this time, he could listen to it from an objective standpoint.

So she raped her brother. That explained why Pavel looked at her like that, but it still didn't explain other things. Why does her father allow Pavel to take Yara's things, look through her everything, order her around…?

If a father found out that his daughter was having sex with his brother, then shouldn't he try to separate them as far as possible? Even if he was trying to punish Yara and make it up to Pavel, there should be many better ways to go about this.
