Lightening up

Finished whispering to Pavel, Yara smashed her foot on his hands. It was no different than a metal hydraulic pump smashing onto flesh. Once again, the screaming ensued and once again, Yara needed to coerce him to shutting up.

Seeing Yara getting into the situation, letting go of most of her common sense, Lorn had to speak up.

"He's gonna die from shock soon."

Pavel looked at him pleadingly, but Lorn pretended to not see it.

"Ah, you're right. You're definitely right. Why don't you use Sense of Normalcy on him? That way, we can do much more to him."

"Never thought you to be such a sadist."

"Stop lying."

"Alright, alright."

Lorn sighed and forced Pavel to feel normal. The grimace on his face was gone, but there was a deep look of confusion and indignation. Lorn was somewhat surprised he could still have such emotions. Shouldn't one be feeling worried about oneself instead of being angry here?
