Chapter 70: Attack

The time had come, Shino had contacted Naruto and told him that the rebel forces would arrive within an hour, Naruto had long prepared everything, and everyone was in their position, a lot of the civilians and ninjas in the 'revolution' would die, and Naruto was fully aware of that fact, so he made the strongest of them go to the front of the revolution while the weaker civilians stayed in the back to give them a chance at survival, it was quite morbid and cruel but it was the quickest way for Naruto to cause a big enough distraction for Mei's forces not be noticed immediately.

The second Naruto sensed Mei arrive around 20 kilometers from Kiri he gave the signal for the revolutionary forces to attack, and simultaneously hundreds of explosion tags went off immediately putting the Anbu of Kiri on guard, while that happened the few hundred people he had convinced to join him rushed out to the streets with various weapons in their hands, the ninja threw around jutsus while the civilians threw rocks and some even molotovs.

Around 20% of the shinobi in Kiri had joined Naruto and around 45% of the civilians that were left over, Naruto was convinced that more would have joined but he would have been found out that way, even this much was risky, he was lucky that there wasn't anyone strong enough to notice.

So when all those people attacked at the same time the remaining shinobi of Kiri were shocked and it took them a few minutes to properly react, but those few minutes were more than enough.

10 Kilometers weren't much for a shinobi, Mei and her army of Chunin and Jonin arrived within 2 minutes, the losses on the revolution's part hadn't been too bad, they had lost a few as the Anbu had reacted swiftly and attacked without hesitation cutting down quite a few on Naruto's side, but now that hundreds of Chunin and tens of Jonin were attacking them they wouldn't be able to hold out for long.

Naruto undid his transformation while Mei, Sasuke, Ao, and Chojuro landed on the building standing next to him.

"Splendid work, Naruto-san," Mei said while she looked at the chaos going on around her.

Then they felt it, the oppressive aura of a Jinchuriki using their Bijuu's chakra, it wasn't as oppressing and hate-filled as Kurama's but it was just as dense and it felt heavy as if a weight was pressing down on their shoulders and a man appeared in the street in front of them.

"I must say I never expected you to do something this bold, Mei." Yagura Karatachi stood in front of them in all his glory, his large hooked club in hand.

Mei glared at the man, "I truly am disappointed in you, Yagura, we trusted you, yet look at what has happened, our village is destroying itself and we have lost countless valuable bloodlines thanks to you!" Mei shouted at him.

Yagura chuckled "As if those filthy beasts matter, they were simply polluting the air that we breathe, even you, your abilities are abnormal, no one should have those abilities!" Yagura's monotone voice shouted out.

Without any warning crimson chakra surrounded Yagura and he dashed at Mei, Mei blew out a blob of lava in retaliation making Yagura jump to the side.

Sasuke activated his Sharingan and channeled lightning chakra into his sword, Ao activated the Byakugan in his right eye, Naruto took Samehada out of his inventory and Chojuro activated the special ability of Hiramekarei.

Naruto went first and dashed at Yagura, currently, Yagura was faster than all of them but Naruto could keep up with him well enough to catch him off guard, Naruto slashed at Yagura with Samehada, Yagura quickly brought his club up and blocked the slash, but the power behind it was too great and he got pushed back making him fly back a few meters.

Sasuke didn't give Yagura any time to react and immediately appeared behind him, his speed far outclassing him for a moment, he had temporarily channeled lightning through his body making him incredibly fast, even Naruto had only seen a small movement and a flash of light.

Yagura was unable to react in time and as a result, his left arm was cut off.

"Ragh!" Yagura roared in pain, the chakra around him becoming darker than before.

Ao and Chojuro simultaneously attacked him, Chojuro made a giant weapon of chakra and forced Yagura to jump away where Ao intercepted him, he didn't have access to the knowledge of the Gentle Fist so he could only crudely shut off the Tenketsu by striking them hard with chakra, but in this case, it didn't do much as the chakra cloak around Yagura was too thick to even penetrate.

Naruto saw that Ao wouldn't be able to help in this battle so he instructed him swiftly "Ao, your skills won't help here, you're better off fighting the Anbu in the village, Chojuro this fight is a bit out of your skill level at the moment, so I advise you to stay back a bit." as Naruto said this he released a bit of Kurama's chakra and dark red bubbling chakra surrounded him and Samehada, a tail of chakra forming behind him.

'Finally kid, I thought you would never use my chakra.' Kurama said to Naruto.

'Heh, as if you're one to talk, you barely said a word to me these past few months.' Naruto replied to Kurama cheekily.

Naruto didn't have any time to talk to Kurama though since Yagura dashed at him angrily as if he was agitated by Naruto being a Jinchuriki as well.

Yagura kept getting angrier as three tails appeared behind him, a thick shell forming on his back and his eyes changing into that of the Three-tails'.

Yagura let out a loud roar and dashed at Naruto, completely disregarding Sasuke and Mei, his hand had reformed being filled with the Three tails' chakra.

Yagura swung his club and through sheer power alone leveled multiple buildings around them, Naruto swung Samehada in retaliation, sending Yagura flying once more.

Sasuke weaved a few hand signs and lighting slowly started hardening on his sword making it infinitely more lethal, it could most likely cut through Yagura's thick chakra coat, even if the Three-Tails was the most defensive of the 9 Bijuu.

Mei spewed a bunch of Lava in a large circle cutting off any escape routes, unless you could run through lava you wouldn't be able to enter the ring they were now in.

The real fight would now start.

Last chap for this week, I kinda effed my right hand while rock climbing but it's only one finger so I can still write, but it's the last chap for the week school is now officially over for me and I got no homework so I'm good.
