"Ice Tribe, this is your last chance. Submit yourself to the rule of Great Moon Kingdom or I shall erase your tribe from the existence." A lady wearing a blue gown stood on the red dragon as she spoke with a cold tone. The dragon was massive.

It had nearly five meters wide wings, the body was red like flames, a long tail, two heavy legs, and two small arms with sharp claws. The dragon had flames spewing out of its nose.

"Princess, your royal family has made an oath to our Ice Tribe that they will never make us submit in the past. Do you want to break that oath?" An old lady slowly floated in front of her and the dragon while asking. She was wearing a grey robe and hiding her face.

"Time has changed! My ancestors were incompetent but I am not the same. And, I don't have time to discuss it with you. Now, make your choice! Submit to the royal family or die!" The lady spoke with a cold tone. She was wearing a veil that hides her face.

"Damn! If only she didn't have that dragon she could never be so impudent." One of the women on the ground clenched her fists and mumbled. At this moment, there was a small girl looking at the lady and the dragon with fear in her eyes.

She clenched the door as her hands trembled. Although she was only six years old, she knew about the princess of Great Moon Kingdom. A few years ago, the princess got her hands on a Flame Dragon that wreaked havoc in the world.

With the dragon, she started conquering the lands that were initially detached from the Great Moon Kingdom. Ice Tribe also lives within the boundary of the Great Moon Kingdom but they don't come under the royal jurisdiction.

In the past, the royal king of the Great Moon Kingdom made an oath to Ice Tribe in return for their strength to fight against a certain enemy. She doesn't know the enemy or even the name of the king. But, that was the only reason why Ice Tribe was never conquered by anyone.

"Princess, I know all of your arrogance comes from this dragon. Although you have great power in your hands, my Ice Tribe will never bow to anyone." The old woman slowly released the chilling air from her hands as she spoke.

"Then, it will be your death."

The great battle between Ice Tribe and the Princess with the dragon started. The small girl was still watching and crying as she saw her people getting burned by the dragon.

"Great Elder, we can't win this battle." One of the women shouted to the old man as she creates a giant wall of ice to block the flames of the dragon.

The old woman smiled and turns around "Do you believe in fate?"

"Great Elder, it's not the time for such thing. We need to do something." Another woman shouted.

The old woman turned her head at the woman wearing a blue coat and shouted "Xieyi, take your daughter and run away. She is the fate of our Ice Tribe. No matter how much we suffer, she will bring our tribe to the glory."

"But, Great Elder!" The woman wearing the blue coat wanted to rebuke.

The old woman shook her head and spoke "Her powers are far greater than anyone else. And, this princess also knows this. That's why she wants to get her hands on your daughter. If she gets her, then the power of Ice and Fire will be in her hands. There will be nothing that could possibly stop. Now go!"

Hearing her words, Xieyi gritted her teeth and turned around. She rushed towards the small girl who was watching everything with tears falling down her eyes.

"Cao, hold your breath!" Xieyi shouted and caught her daughter. In an instant, the wings made out of ice emerged from her back and both of them flew away from the Ice Tribe. It was located at the big mountain.

"No one is allowed to leave!" The lady also caught the glimpse of her running away and instantly shot sharp arrows of ice.

"Dance of Ice Maiden!"

Suddenly, the old woman held two ice blades in her hand and spun. Her blades sliced the arrows from the middle as she looked at the lady and spoke "Unfortunately, you will never get your hands on her."

Hearing her words, a mocking smile appeared on her lips as she sneered "Do you think I am the only one here?"

At this moment, the old woman's eyes widened but suddenly, the flame dragon spewed a massive stream of flames.

On lower ground,

"You are from the Divine Blacksmith Guild?" Xieyi shouted as the people wearing black robes surrounded her. They were holding hammers in their hands as they looked at her.

"It seems her majesty was correct. Unfortunately, we can't let you leave." One of the blacksmiths sprinted towards them and slammed his hammer.

"Ice Spear!"

Xieyi forms the spear on her hands with the ice and shoots it against the hammer. When the hammer collides with the ice spear, Xieyi gets pushed back as her spear started cracking.

'Damn! I can't leave here. It seems I got no choice. Daughter, you must survive. This will be harsh but only when you survive, the fate of our Tribe will be get rewritten.'

She instantly retreats and holds the little girl in front of her. The little girl was still shaking in fear but she wasn't crying. Xieyi pats her daughter's head with a smile on her lips "Daughter, never come back here until you are strong. Future will be hard but do everything you can to survive. The fate of Ice Tribe is on you."

She presses the back of her daughter before her daughter could say anything. Slowly, a pair of beautiful wings appear on her back and the next moment, her body soars towards the sky.

"Oh no! Stop her!" One of the blacksmiths instantly reacts as he tries to leap but suddenly, a chilling wind pauses his movement.

"Where do you think you are going? My daughter's journey to change our fate has just begun. I can't let you interfere."

Xieyi spoke with a bloodthirsty smile on her face. Her pinky fingers, index fingers, and thumbs were connected with each other as the massive ice energy was flowing out of her.

"Ice Domain!"

"Crap! How can she activate a domain? She is just a Senior Mage." One of the blacksmiths panicked and shouted.

"Don't fret! She made her daughter fly in such extreme conditions in the hope of survival. If she had such power without any drawback, she would've never done it." Another blacksmith shouted as he gripped his hammer tightly.

"You are right. This is my farewell to my daughter."

"Domain Detonation!"

On the bed, Yu Cao suddenly rose and started breathing heavily. Her body was covered with sweat as the tears were falling down her cheeks. She slowly curled her legs and wrapped her arms around them.

"Mother.... I will definitely take revenge. I will change the fate of Ice Tribe."

In the forest,

"Elder Lee, do you think you can bear to kill your mother to avenge your father?" Gu Tan couldn't help but ask. They were sitting around the fire while resting their backs on trees.

Lee Che lowered his head and spoke "I was not born when all of that happened. I only know this because of what I read. But, I don't think father would write something false in his diary. I don't love her. That's for sure but I don't think I can hate her as well."

"She was in love with her father but she wasn't a type who would share her husband with others. Father should've understood this. But, he was on the edge where marrying her was the only way to keep himself alive."

"He did his best to survive but she was even more heartbroken because he pregnant the dragon. I am not worried about my mother or father or their relationship. They have already done what they did. Now, the past is just a past. I can only accept it and move ahead."

"But, my brother might not be the same. He is emotionally weak. And, he might not accept the fact that his mother is a servant of my mother. I am afraid our relationship might change once he learns the truth. Village Chief, as for your question, I don't think I can kill my mother."

Gu Tan stared at Lee Che for a moment with some thoughts running through his head.

Yu Cao sat crossed legs and started cultivation.
