After that event, Wang Yu started to change completely. He started to drink wine all the time and he no longer painted. He spent all the money he had been saving on buying wine, and all the time was spent inside his room which started to resemble that of Ah Du.

One day, Wang Yu who was sleeping on the floor woke up by the noise of someone knocking on the door.

Opening the door, Wang Yu saw a young skinny boy who was shocked to see a young boy like Wang Yu in this state.

"How may I help you?" Wang Yu asked with an impolite tone.

"It's the servant district leader that wants you, right now." Said the boy hurriedly looking extremely weary.

Wang Yu was surprised, but after some thinking, he nodded toward the boy, after all refusing the leader's orders is a stupid idea.

"Leader, I've brought him." The young boy didn't knock on the door, shouting as soon as he entered the hall.

"You're slow." Shidded the leader, before turning towards a young girl who has been standing there.

"This is the survivor from that incident, as for the other one he disappeared days ago. He went to the forest and hasn't returned yet." Explained the Leader with a servile tone which surprised Wang Yu, but after looking at the girl he understood why. This was the Sect master's disciple, someone of great authority.

"I think we've met before." Said the young girl.

"Oh, yes it was you who came with my senior brother one year ago." The girl's tone turned harsh when she mentioned her senior brother. Wang Yu didn't respond, he just stood there silently looking toward a corpse.

"Anyway, I'm sorry for what had befallen you and your group. As the sect's representative on this matter I've brought you the corpse of that fox, there are also one thousand sect coins in your account, so go to the repository and take it. As for the others, the sect has sent the compensation to their families."

Wang Yu was surprised at what he had just heard, in front of him was the almighty and strong beast that was able to kill his group effortlessly but now it's dead.

"Who killed it?" Asked Wang Yu.

"I'm the one who did it, I was slow because it was good at hiding." Apologized the girl coldly, as if the only cause of delay was the fox's ability to hide rather than its strength.

Wang Yu breathed heavily before returning to normal.

"Thank you very much, I'm indebted to you." Wang Yu was glad to see the fox's corpse, but at the same time, he also felt regret for not killing it himself.

"No need." Said the young girl before leaving, her steps were graceful yet fast.

Seeing her leave the old man heaved a sigh of relief before saying coldly "you can leave."

Wang Yu bowed before heading toward his room. Upon returning the first thing he did was to repeatedly fill a big pot with water from a well that was outside his room and pour it inside his bathtub until it was nearly full.

He then closed the door and took his clothes off before jumping inside the bathtub.

"I can't stay weak." Murmured Wang Yu inside the bathtub.

After some time Wang Yu left the bathtub and wore new clothes. He then sat down and started to practice The Everlasting turtle technique that he comprehended after absorbing that drop of blood given by Mu Zhi, five minutes later Wang Yu felt as if some kind of energy was entering his body but unlike the usual techniques it didn't go to his dantian but to his heart.

Wang Yu continued to train, forgetting about time. Two hours later he felt hungry, so he stopped training.

"As described in the technique, my body is getting stronger but I will need to consume things that contain a lot of vitality."

Wang Yu's body started to change from the moment he absorbed that golden drop, it was just that he wasn't paying attention to it.

Feeling his new strength, Wang Yu was shocked by the discovery, he had reached the late stage of the bronze tier. Normally it should have taken him two months with his usual training, but now after absorbing that golden drop and training for two hours he achieved the same.

After entering the restaurant Wang Yu sat at a secluded table and ordered some roasted meat.

After waiting for some time, the dish finally came, but what he couldn't eat before was little for him now.

"It seems as if I have to head outside the sect." Thought Wang Yu, who paid the bill before leaving.

"But before leaving I should go to the repository and buy some tea herbs and a sword." He has to test the spirit pot, which according to the description he received after it acknowledged him, was incredibly helpful to the spirit.

After entering the repository Wang Yu met the same old man, who was sitting by his chair and drinking his tea.

Seeing Wang Yu before him, the old man stood up patting Wang Yu on the back.

"Little Wang. I'm sorry for what has befallen you, but you can't reverse the past. I'm not telling you to forget but you should keep going."

"Thank you, senior." Wang Yu didn't have a lot of acquaintances in the sect, so few people came to console him.

"I've come to purchase a sword and some tea herbs. I would also like to get some guidance from you on how to prepare tea." Asked Wang Yu respectfully, he had seen his grandfather prepare tea but he was young and didn't remember how he did it.

Besides unlike his grandfather, this senior treated tea as a sacred thing.

Hearing Wang Yu's demand the old man started to teach Wang Yu about the basics of preparing tea, and which type of herbs he can use.

An hour later Wang Yu left the old man with a new sword and a set of hunting clothes, and some tea herbs. As for pills for cultivation he couldn't buy any because he was short of money, 1000 sect coins weren't enough he would need to accumulate at least another 1000 before he could buy the cheapest one which was the Dantian Opening pill. Even if he didn't need it, he had to hide from greedy eyes. This is what Mu Zhi had told him, his inheritance couldn't be revealed.

When he returned to his room, Wang Yu looked to see if anything suspicious, seeing none he closed the door carefully. Afterward, he took the teapot and started to prepare tea according to what the old man told him, the only difference was that he didn't need to heat it because the spirit pot would absorb the world's energy to heat itself.

While waiting for the tea Wang Yu remembered the inheritance scroll which contained all the old man's knowledge of array formations and inscription techniques. While it had fused with his soul and he could enter a world in his dreams he felt an extreme headache after staying for one minute so he couldn't read much, only the basics.

According to what he read, there were a lot of array formation types, some used to attack, some for defense, and some for various other reasons like attracting the Qi, isolating the cold or heat …etc.

As for the inscription he couldn't read anything because of his headache.

Five minutes later the tea was ready but according to what he found after the pot accepted him as its master, he would have to wait for a while. The more he waited for it, the more the tea would be beneficial to the spirit. Of course, after some time there won't be any improvement for the tea. This means that he has to choose the best material to prepare tea for him to gain more benefits.

Fortunately, he could let the pot inside his body. So he didn't have to wait or fear that someone may find out about the pot.

After taking care of the pot, Wang Yu wore his new hunting clothes and took his sword, a gourd full of water, and a knife. He was heading outside the sect to eat some fresh meat.

"With my inheritance, I shall fear no more. I shall be able to protect myself, protect whoever is dear to me." Decided Wang Yu before stepping outside the sect.
