The Outer Sect

"He had really become a cultivator, lucky him." exclaimed one youth.

"Lucky him, you say, You don't really know how maniac he truly is. He hunts alone with no team, if you were a hunter you wouldn't have said that." The youth was chidded by a veteran hunter, who happened to be by his side, seeing the one who spoke to him the youth apologized before leaving.

The hunter was Fuigui who led Wang Yu in the first hunt."I hope you rise high and become a great cultivator!"

"Aren't you jealous of him?" Said a middle aged man, who was beside Fuigui.

"What is my jealousy going to do, if we were competitors then yes. But now each one of us has his own path, besides cultivating is impossible at our age. If he becomes a great cultivator I would at least be able to boast about having guided into his first hunt" laughed Fuigui.

Suddenly a brilliant light descended from the sky, attracting everyone's attention.

A moment later, the light dimmed letting the people see what was in its center. It was a middle aged man who rode on a longsword, his eyebrows were tangled, his skin was dark and he was slightly obese. Unlike how you would imagine an immortal, yet his eyes would make you forget all your first impressions of him.

Those eyes were the eyes of a true killer, someone who wouldn't mind killing for the sake of benefit, maybe for just pleasure.

The man had stopped in front of the administration hall, where Wang Yu and the elder who had received him. Right now he was talking with Wang Yu more friendly unlike the first time. Feeling the sudden pressure Wang Yu and the elder left the hall.

"So you are the one, not bad." Said the middle aged man who was standing on a long sword his voice was hushed, the strange thing was that it was very audible. Making the people understand more about how fearful are the cultivators.

"Greeting Senior." All the people from the servant district bowed down to greet this man who had the appearance of a middle aged man, but immortals' age has never been measured by appearance.

"Come, I'll take you to the outer sect!" Wang Yu squeezed his hand. He had been waiting for this moment for a long time, and now he would finally enter the sect and meet his childhood friends.

After approaching the cultivator, Wang Yu felt some wind assembling under his feet elevating him up. He soon stood on the middle aged man's sword.

The middle aged man took Wang Yu toward the outer sect, flying with a great speed. Bizarrely Wang Yu didn't shake on the way, it was as if he was one with the wind.

After spending all this time inside the servant's district, Wang Yu's thinking started to focus entirely on becoming a true sect's disciple.

Five minutes later, the middle aged man reached the sect. "We've reached the sect, as a hunter you shall go to the Hunter Association after finishing the registration." This was Wang Yu's second time entering the sect, it felt like a dream. He had been going through a lot for this moment.

The middle aged man took Wang Yu to a hall which was called the registry hall. Entering the hall, a youth who appeared to be the same age as Wang Yu approached them, before bowing toward the middle aged man "Greeting senior."

"Lu Chi, this is the new student from the servant district. Finish his registration and take him around the sect." Said the middle aged man nonchalantly.

"Thank you senior." Bowed Wang Yu toward the middle aged man who even though hadn't spoken much with Wang Yu on the way, still gave him a good impression.

The middle aged man left after delivering Wang Yu to the youth from the registry hall.

"Hello brother, so you were a student from the servant district. For you to arrive here means that you are strong, and have hunted a lot of beasts." Lu Chi was amiable, which made Wang Yu who was usually cold, slightly smile toward him before answering .

"Yes, I was just brought by that senior. As for the strength I can't compare to you who have started cultivating before me." Said Wang Yu humbly, in truth he didn't feel much threat from this youth, but since he was new to the sect it would be better not to show off.

"Actually, we are still all at the first level of Qi Condensation, usually it takes about two months to enter Qi Condensation, with some people slower." Lu Chi was a talkative guy, and Wang Yu didn't mind listening to his talk, he needed to understand more about the sect.

After the registration Wang Yu received his new robe, and a badge with a tiger symbol on it meaning that he was from the hunter department, he also received the cultivation manual's version from level 1 Qi stage to level 3 and twenty spirit stones.

Touching a spirit stone Wang Yu felt a cool sensation coursing inside his body.

"This small stone is in high demand inside the sect, it could be used to cultivate,recover, it's also used as a currency in the immortal world. And as an energy for array formation and a lot of other uses." Lu Chi explained to Wang Yu, making him feel how ignorant and weak he truly was.

"As a new outer sect disciple, you don't have to take missions for a year. During this time you can attend lectures, go to the library where you can choose some Techniques and a lot more, you only need to respect the sect rules and no problem shall befall you."

"Of course, there are some people you shouldn't provoke." Warned Lu Chi, who had been in the sect for about five months.

"You said that I'm from the hunting department, does that mean there are other departments as well inside the sect?" Asked Wang Yu.

"Yes, there are three other departments. The Alchemy department is responsible for making pills that can be used by the sect disciple to increase their strength, to heal injuries, and other uses."

"As for the Array Formation department, they are the one who take care of all the arrays that the sect needs."

"Last but not least, is the sword department. Right now this is the department of which hails the sect master and his predecessors." Wang Yu was shocked by what he had just heard.

"Initially there was no Sword department and it was the hunting department that was responsible for protecting the sect, but with expansion of the sect and the dangers inside the forest, the sect needed another fighting department." Lu Chi, who was knowledgeable about the sect's affairs , continued to explain for Wang Yu, who was listening attentively. He needed to understand more about the sect.

"Look, that is the sect repository, that is where we exchange our contribution points with ressource, of course we can also exchange contribution points with Spirit Stones but usually no one does it. Since the sect has a lot of resources which no one can get from the outside even if he has enough spirit stones." While walking the two reached a big hall where disciples were entering and going out.

"How can we get contribution points if we don't take missions?" Asked Wang Yu.

"Besides you can take some simple missions, as you can see I'm working at the registry hall." Said Lu Chi.

"Well let's go inside the sect weaponry hall, as a new student you have the right to take a new weapon."
