Lui Xui's justification

A while later Lui Xui broke the silence, "You used to like sitting and watching the starry sky for hours."

Wang Yu smiled slightly remembering the past, he was considered weird among villagers because he would sit alone during the nights where the sky was starry.

"From the refined scholar to someone whose killing intent is very strong." Said Lui Xui while looking at Wang Yu.

"Nothing stays in its state, specially people we are the creatures that change a lot, beside sometimes we are forced to change for survival and to achieve our goals." Sighed Wang Yu, who continued looking at the stars.

"You know why I've come, don't you?" Asked Lui Xui, with a low voice.

"Well I can guess from what I've seen today." Wang Yu replied nonchalantly to Lui Xui's question.

Hearing Wang Yu's reply and his tone, Lui Xui felt her chest burn slightly, breathing heavily she said.

"After entering the sect, I was chosen by an elder from the alchemy department. Her famous technique was a dual cultivation technique where the user would need a partner, but the advantage was that its user's cultivation would soar high in no time." Lui Xui stayed silent before continuing.

"I first refused to practice this technique, but later on even though I had a good talent, I wasn't as dedicated to practice. I couldn't stay in close door cultivation for long periods of time.

I then thought I would just wait some time for you to enter the outer sect but everyone told me that it was impossible." Lui Xui didn't continue what happened next, but Wang Yu understood everything. After a while of silence, Wang Yu was the first to speak.

Hearing what Wang Yu said Lui Xui's eyes started to brighten, she didn't think that it would be simple even though she knew that Wang Yu wasn't the type of person who throws a tantrum, but he wasn't this kind of forgiveness.

Lui Fu coughed changing the subject,"I have actually gained a lot from this trip, but in terms of gains I would only be considered as mediocre. If it wasn't because of the danger, I would have liked to stay there for a longer period."

Hearing this Wang Yu couldn't help but look at his vacant arm, and as to elevate the atmosphere, Wang Yu didn't stand on ceremony and looked at Lui Fu expectantly "Take it out, I'm waiting".

Wang Yu was shocked, especially after looking at the carcass which despite being dead for some time still held a lot of vitality more than any beast he had hunted before. Unfortunately Wang Yu couldn't ask for it, since it would appear strange. His eyes then fell on the talismans, and he couldn't help but feel drawn to them. "Lui Fu, these talismans look special. What do they do?" he asked.

Lui Fu smiled and picked up one of the talismans. "This is a talisman of protection. It can create a barrier around the user, protecting them from physical attacks for a short period of time," he explained. "And these others are talismans of speed, which can increase the user's speed for a short period of time, and talismans of strength, which can increase the user's physical strength for some time.
