Bloodline Cultivation

As for the Grand Elders, they are Green Hand from the Alchemy Department and Mystic Owl from the Hunter Department, his Daoist name comes from his awakened bloodline, the Azure Owl. The other path is Bloodline Integration which consists of injecting demon substances inside the body, and the degree of purity depends on what is injected, with normal blood being the lowest, followed by the blood of the internal organs and marrow, and lastly which is the purer, the blood essence.

However, the process of integrating demon blood into one's body is dangerous and can have serious consequences, including loss of control over one's actions, physical deformation, and even death. But if they succeed in the integration they would gain greater power, but there is a problem.

In the beginning, they would find cultivation easier and would improve very fast, but later on, when they reach the limit of the talent of that inject beast, their cultivation speed will drop exponentially and they would even be slower than normal cultivators unless they change the bloodline which is harder than the initial integration, or find a purer bloodline from the same source.

To maximize the benefit, humans invented some cultivation techniques that are compatible with certain bloodlines. Allowing the user to cultivate faster and avoid the loss of control."

Taking into account the drop of blood which entered his body that day, and the Everlasting Turtle Technique, Wang Yu found that what he had been doing was Bloodline Cultivation.

"There's also another method which is unorthodox one, banned by the Demon Hunting Alliance which is composed of our Ice Hell Sect, Evergreen Sect, Holy Puppet Sect, and the seven middle-grade sects."

"That method is called Bloodline Theft which consists of stealing the bloodline from humans."

"Speaking of which, what's the standing of the sect toward the Bloodline Cultivation," asked Wang Yu, who wanted to know what would be the sect's reaction toward his bloodline.

"The sect doesn't care about how we cultivate as long as we respect the rules, as the sect nearest to the Darkness Forest which is the place where the strongest beasts exist in the land, our sect was known for cultivating Bloodline, especially the Hunting Department. I even remember that we got tested to see if we have a special bloodline. Only one girl had the bloodline of the Fortunate Rabbit, which is a grade 1 demon that is mediocre in terms of cultivation talents but exceptional at finding herbs. So all the departments wanted to take her in, but in the end, she joined the Alchemy Department."

"Well, maybe that's true. But since the chances are very low, I won't waste my time with it." Wang Yu decided to cultivate normally, to not attract any attention. After all, according to the Everlasting Technique, cultivating it to the peak of Human Tempering would give a lifespan of seven hundred years, with each breakthrough bringing more longevity which is logical considering that it had the word "Turtle" in it.
