'Awakened human? Did the Sharingan change something within him? But he didn't sense anything different.'

Julian slept that night, introspecting about the battle, but this time he didn't get any weird visions. He had many questions about the appearance of the Sharingan, the two different visions, etc. Either he had obtained the Sharingan from the orb, or he had awakened it on his own. But why? That aside, he needed to bring out the full potential of these eyes. From what he had tested, he could only read movements and nothing else. He didn't think he would be able to create illusions—not that he had any special interest in them anyway.

The next day, they set out for the capital. It took only a moment with Finral's magic, though Finral dropped to the floor panting after covering such a long distance. Spatial mages used a lot of mana compared to other magic, after all. Julian sensed that Finral had almost emptied his reserves.

The meeting room was in the Magic Knights headquarters, located in the capital, along with the castle of the Wizard King. It was the largest city in the entire kingdom.

The entrance gate was giant and made of pure gold. The meeting hall was spacious, decorated all around, with a long table and chairs for the captains to sit.

When they entered the room, Julian saw William Vengeance waiting along with David and Letoile near the doorway. The moment they saw him approaching, they both bowed and said together, "Thank you," while William just nodded.

"Thank you for protecting us. Without you, we would have died," they said. Then they faced their captain and said, "It is shameful for a member of Golden Dawn to be useless in battle. We promise to train and not be a liability in the future." Julian accepted their gratitude, and William gave a broader smile.

They entered the room and saw every captain waiting. Charlotte saw them and said, "Late as always, Yami," though Julian was pretty sure she was screaming with joy inside at seeing Yami.

Inside, Julian saw the captain of Purple Orca, Gueldre, with the last member of the exploration team.

He pointed towards Julian and said, "That's the boy, Captain, because of whom the other two died. He knew about the dungeon boss and didn't inform us." Damn the audacity.

"It's your squad member's fault that my squad member died. I need compensation, Yami," said the captain of Purple Orca, which pissed Yami off.

"It was their fault they didn't listen to the warning. If not for me, he wouldn't have returned either," Julian said, releasing his mana pressure.

Everyone widened their eyes and looked at him as if seeing a monster.

[Inner Thoughts]

Fuegoleon: Phoenix, huh? I've never seen such a unique mana pressure.

Nozel: You've got to be kidding me….mana preassure at this age!?

Charlotte: As expected from the one who received the four-leaf grimoire.

Rill: Interesting! Very interesting!

William: Looks like I need to make plans for him too.

"Compensation, huh? Should I sell you to the market as boneless ham and give you compensation? What do you say?" Yami said, flaring his mana pressure.

"You dare!" Gueldre blabbered, but Julian could sense his spirit was shaken. If he was unfazed by Julian's mana pressure, Yami's mana pressure did the work.

All of a sudden, a voice reverberated:

"QUIET!" A single word had such an impact that all of them withdrew their mana, and every captain stood up from their seats.

That's when Julian knew he was here—the 28th Wizard King, Julius Novachrono.

The blond-haired man, clothed in a red and white robe with a star on the corner of his forehead, entered the room with a smile along with his blue-haired assistant Marx. Everyone stood up to welcome him.

Unlike everyone Julian had met so far, Julius had no presence. Julian didn't even detect him with Ki, but that's what made him dangerous. He had the power to steal, rewind, and forward time. He had the power to cover almost the entire kingdom with his abilities. Julian felt like in front of him, every secret of his was revealed.

His smile, his attitude, his presence—everything showed his place as the strongest mage in the entire kingdom.
