Chapter 138

|3rd POV|

An undead wearing a crown made of ice looks at the distance with an emotionless expression. He lost most of his emotion long ago when he was experimented on by the so-called creatures of nature. From that day on, he only feels anger and pain.

He is angry at the world for not helping him from being tortured for three years non-stop. He is in pain because the pain from the experiment still lingers in his soul. His body might be cold, but his soul is like being burned by fire. He wants the world to experience what he feels by turning them into what he is. He wants them to feel pain until the end of time, and he will make sure not even death can save them.

So when a wall stands in front of him, between him and his revenge, his anger gets even bigger. On the outside, his expression did not change, but if people were near him, they could see his eyes glow brightly, and the cold air around him got even colder.

He did not say a word and only pointed his finger at the fortress in the distance. A second later, his slave roars and starts running at the fortress.

The people on the wall look solemnly at the incoming horde and prepare their weapons. In the sky, three dragons circled the fortress, ready to fire their breath. On top of the three dragons are their riders: Viserys, Daenerys, and Rhaenys.

Viserys looks at his sister and niece and says,

"Prepare your magic. They are coming."

Dany and Rhae nod their heads and take a deep breath. Ten portals appear around Dany a second later, and twenty creatures come out of that portal. Most of them have serpentine bodies, and only three of them are the only tetrapod animals.

Rhae, on the other hand, creates five balls of elements: Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, and Lightning. They might be small in size, but anyone adept in a magical sense can tell they pack a punch.

Seeing his companion prepare their magic, Viserys nods and takes out his weapon, a short sword made of dragonglass that he enchants to the teeth with anything he can enchant in the short amount of time he has.

After taking out his weapon, he pushes a lot of gravity and space mana into the sword and sees it glow in purple color. Viserys nods and looks at his companion.

"Wait until they are close enough. I will try to kill as many of them as possible before they arrive."

"Okay, brother"

"Yes!"

Viserys nods and looks into the distance. He throws his sword, and suddenly, a portal appears in front of the sword.

In the middle of the undead horde, ten small portals appear. Viserys' sword emerges from the portal and starts flying around the battlefield. The enchantment on the sword let it pierce through the undead like a hot knife through butter.

The sword flies around the battlefield and kills as many undead as possible before flying back to the nearby portal to appear on the other side of the battlefield to kill more undead. This lasts ten minutes before his sword stops mid-air, and he cannot move it.

Before he can pour more mana, the connection between him and his weapon is gone. The last thing he sees before his connection is cut is a flash of blue.

"I know this will not be easy."

He uses his mana to enchant his vision and see the Night's King point his spear at the remains of his sword, and the undead's eyes shine with power.

"Tch. Of course, he knows magic. Why can't the undead be regular, like a zombie or a ghoul? Noooo. They need to be Lich."

Viserys releases another sigh and looks at the horde of undead who are getting closer. He looks at his companion and says.

"Dany! Rhae! Get wild!"

At his command, Daenerys and Rhaenys release their magic. Dany's summoned creatures fly down and attack the undead. Most of her creatures release some kind of magic that is different from theirs to destroy the undead. However, some of them use their magic to enchant their attack to destroy the undead to pieces.

If Dany looks like a Queen who orders her soldiers to do her bidding, Rhae is a dancer. She moves her hand around and controls the element as if she is dancing. She moves her hand and body to a certain rhythm only she can hear. Elia, her dragon, also follows her movement, making her magic even more powerful.

While the trio of dragon riders kills the undead on the back, the people standing on the wall prepare their bows and arrows. Vyran look at his soldiers and says.

"Arrow! Get ready!"

A couple of hundred archers knock their arrows and hold. Vyran looks at the undead and starts counting down inside his mind. When it reaches zero, he shouts.

"Fire!"

A couple of hundred arrows rain upon the incoming undead. A green fire set the undead ablaze when the arrow hit their targets.

On top of the bigger tower, the alchemist is holding their throwing machine and standing next to a catapult where a jar with green liquid inside sits on top of the bucket of the catapult. The Grandmaster of the Alchemist Guild looks at the horde that gets near the barrier.

When they reach the barrier, he smirks and says.

"Fire at will!"

He presses the trigger of the throwing machine in his hand and starts launching a glass jar filled with wildfire. When the jar hits the ground and the liquid gets exposed to oxygen, a massive green fire emerges.

A chain explosion happened, and now the entire area is filled with sickly green flames. Watching the scene while laughing maniacally is the Grandmaster of the Alchemist Guild.

"Bwahahaha! Burn! Burn! Take that, you undead shit!"

The Night's King looks at the green flame, and his anger gets even stronger. He raises his spear and points it at the flame. A few seconds later, a strong icy wind hit the barrier, and the fire slowly disappeared.

Viserys frowns a little and knows that the barrier will be overwhelmed if the Night's King joins the fight. He needs to do something. He takes out the sword he got from the ruin of Valyria and says.

"Alduin, let's kill that bastard."

With a roar, Alduin flies at the Night's King.
