Chapter 126: Covered Conspiracy

Professor Lupin, who had kept his head down, stood up in pain, alone and dejected.

His eyes wandered among them all, finally landing on Harry again.

He seemed to be looking for a place to hide, but Ron took the opportunity to cast another spell, and Professor Lupin howled miserably and avoided his attack.

"What the hell are you doing, Ron?!" Harry shouted angrily. "Stop attacking, it's Professor Lupin, he's not dangerous!"

"Stay away from this monster, Harry!" Ron said coldly. "He's a werewolf. He'll hurt everyone I'm saving you!"

"No, he won't. It's Professor Lupin. He's fine. Hurry up....," Harry wanted to stop him, but Ron didn't seem to be listening to him.

The light on the tip of his wand grew stronger and stronger, and without any sign of hesitation, he cast another spell.

Before this, Harry had never known Ron's spells to be so strong.

Was it really Ron? everything was really abnormal today!

If the Slytherin students were given an early warning and knew that Professor Lupin was a werewolf, why would Ron appear here as well?

This all seemed like a well-scripted play that had been prepared well in advance; and all that was needed was the presence of the audience to put the finishing touch on the show.

Harry couldn't understand what was going on, ever since Ivan and Hermione were attacked by a werewolf in Hogsmeade, then Dumbledore's departure, the shower of owls in the Great Dining Hall, and now Professor Lupin transforming into a werewolf, and Ron appearing in his office. It was all too abnormal.

It was as if an invisible web had built itself, which overwhelmed Harry. He could smell the existence of a strong conspiracy.

He shook his head and tried to sober up. Whatever was hidden behind the scenes, he first had to stop what was happening in front of him.

However, the scene slowly began to spiral out of control. Under Ron's leadership, all of the Slytherin students began to cast spells at Professor Lupin.

Dozens of lights went in his direction at the same time. They ran over him and he went flying.

He crashed into the back wall and fell heavily to the ground, covered in blood. He shook his head and got up again. The wounds recovered in the blink of an eye. Professor Lupin craned his neck with a miserable, horrifying roar.

The whole office was a mess, and there were shouts of spells, cries of alarm, and screams in all directions.

Some retreated and others advanced. More and more students were drawing their wands to attack the werewolf.

"No!" Harry shouted, trying to stop them, but the scene was too chaotic.

He saw Ron attacking Professor Lupin again. He hastily waved his wand and shouted, "Protego!"

Harry stopped Ron's spell and wanted to protect Professor Lupin. But there were too many spells in Remus' way. His shield couldn't absorb them all. Not to mention that the mana of many seniors was much stronger than his, so the shield broke instantly.

Professor Lupin groaned, waving his claws in anger and sending a terrible growl at the young wizards.

"Stop the attack. Stop it. It's not a werewolf, it's Professor Lupin!" Harry screamed helplessly.

As soon as he stopped shouting, he saw a curse coming!

It was Malfoy's. He was looking at him maliciously. He took this opportunity to attack him.

Just as the curse was about to hit Harry, the horrible werewolf behind him jumped up and blocked the spell.

Harry knew that Professor Lupin was saving him, but to the eyes of the others, this picture looked more like that of a murderous werewolf running towards Harry.

"Monster, get away from Harry!", Harry heard Ginny cry, and looked over Professor Lupin's shoulders, he saw Ginny screaming at him and Ron, her eyes red with tears.

At the sound of Ginny's voice, Professor Lupin clearly trembled.

But when he saw the curse coming closer and closer to Harry, he rushed over and wanted to protect him from being hurt.

Lupin covered Harry with his body. Because of the werewolf's terrible appearance, that was misinterpreted badly by everyone.

Previously hesitant, the Gryffindor, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff students who did not initially take action pulled out their wands and joined the battle.

"No, I'm fine. He's protecting me..." Harry shouted miserably.

Along with Lupin and Harry, Ron's spell came back at them, oblivious to the fact that Harry was in Professor Lupin's arms.

Or perhaps, like Malfoy, he was aiming at Harry.

Seeing the red light coming, Lupin hurriedly shielded his student.

Ron's spell flew past his friend's cheeks, hitting Professor Lupin in the head.

Lupin growled, his voice filled with pain, and blood ran down his forehead.

Although he became a werewolf, thanks to the Wolf Potion, Lupin also kept his human mind. With the strength his transformation brought him, it was easy for him to fight back.

But he couldn't do this; the children in front of him were his students.

Lupin didn't know how the boy named Ron Weasley knew his identity as a werewolf. Ten minutes earlier, he suddenly rushed into his office and pointed his wand at him. He didn't say anything, just stood there and looked scared.

Just as Lupin was ready to take action, footsteps came from outside the door. Ron, who hadn't acted, suddenly shouted for help, he obviously hadn't done anything.

More and more students came in and he rushed to hide under the table.

But this was useless. Lupin didn't understand what was going on. Maybe he should leave the place first.

He must have scared this group of kids.

Just as Lupin hesitated, another round of spells flew at him.

As Gryffindor, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff students also joined the attack, this wave caused more than hundreds of curses.

Even with the werewolf's great vitality and physique, he should not be able to withstand so many attacks. If he was hit by these spells, Lupin would die.

Looking at the incoming spells, Lupin wanted to hide. But he immediately gave up on that idea. If he turned around now, Harry, who was in his arms, would be hit by these spells. It was almost impossible to escape.

'Maybe I'm going to die here. My only regret is that I personally couldn't catch Sirius Black for James, Lily and Peter Pettigrew. Fortunately, I told Harry the truth this morning. This boy is similar to his father, James. 'He'll catch Black on my behalf,' Lupin thought.
