Hermione narrowed her eyes slightly and looked at Cho Chang suspiciously.
Then, she looked at Ivan next to her. Due to Luna's words, Ivan looked lost, blushing slightly as he looked at the Ravenclaw Seeker.
Hermione snorted and unconsciously closed the magical book in her hand tightly.
With that burst, Ivan came back to himself; he turned his head and looked at Hermione.
Hermione didn't look at him, she was talking to Ginny.
Ivan scratched his head and didn't know what was going on.
Seeing his dazed and overwhelmed look, Ginny and Luna, who had just witnessed the whole thing, couldn't help but secretly giggle.
In the middle of the pitch, after team captain Wood and Ravenclaw's Davies shook hands, with Madam Hooch's whistle, the game officially began.
All the players took to the air and Ivan looked up to find Harry. He saw a red shadow overhead.
He heard Lee Jordan's commentary on the game. Jordan was the game commentator. He was friends with Fred and George, and they were often seen together.
"They're off, and the best thing about this game is the firebolt Harry Potter is flying for Gryffindor!" Jordan shouted excitedly. "This is a Christmas present from Professor Black to Harry. According to Which Broomstick, The Fire-Eye is going to be the broom of choice for the national teams in this year's World Championships..."
"Jordan, would you mind telling us what's going on in the match?" Professor McGonagall's piercing voice interrupted and was heard throughout the audience.
"You're right, Professor.... I'm just giving a little background information. The firebolt, by the way, has a built-in automatic brake and...," said Jordan.
"Jordan!" shouted Professor McGonagall.
"Okay, okay, Gryffindor in possession, Gryffindor's Katie Bell going for goal...," said Jordan.
Ivan looked quickly at the Ravenclaw goal posts and saw Harry flying there too, very fast. He was looking for the golden Snitch.
Cho Chang noticed it too and was following close behind.
She was a good seeker, though not as good as Harry, but she kept crossing, forcing him to change direction.
Due to Cho Chang's disturbance, Harry lost track of the snitch.
At that moment, Katie managed to score the first goal of the match, and the Gryffindor end of the pitch went crazy, and Ivan heard deafening voices.
In cheers, the Gryffindor team became braver and braver, and the score difference was getting bigger and bigger.
"Gryffindor wins by eighty points to zero, and look at that firebolt go! Cho Chang's sweeper is no match for it, the firebolt's balance of accuracy is truly remarkable in this long..." commented Jordan.
"JORDAN!" Professor McGonagall said, "Are you being paid to advertise THE FIREBOLT? KEEP COMMENTING!"
The game was very intense. Ravenclaw was pulling away; they had already scored three goals, putting Gryffindor only fifty points ahead.
If Cho Chang caught the Snitch before Harry did, Ravenclaw would win.
The key to Gryffindor's victory was entirely in Harry's hands, but he now seemed a little tied up, and every time Cho Chang went up to stop him, he had to change direction to avoid collision.
"HARRY, THIS IS NO TIME TO BE A GENTLEMAN!" When he saw Harry's performance, Wood shouted angrily, and his voice could be heard above half the pitch, "WE WANT TO WIN THE GAME. DO WHAT IT TAKES!"
At the sound of his shouts, there was a booing in the stadium below.
Cho Chang's broom stopped in front of Harry, and she smiled as if they had exchanged a few words.
Then, Harry turned the firebolt to go up. Soon he was twenty feet above the field, and everyone could just see him flying straight up into the dense clouds.
Cho Chang was following it, she decided to tag him instead of looking for the Snitch herself.
Harry did a fake action. He pretended he saw the Snitch and dived again. Cho Chang hastily twirled the broomstick and wanted to keep up. Harry came out of the dive hard, and she dove downward.
Harry was up fast as a bullet once again, and then he really saw her. The Snitch was glinting over the pitch in the Ravenclaw end.
Followed by Cho Chang, who had also seen the Snitch, and was a few feet closer than Harry, they both flew forward, racing against the time....
The crowd held its breath, and now was the critical moment.
The superiority of the Snitch came fully into view, and Harry was as fast as the wind.
Harry advanced quickly, leaving Cho Chang behind, approaching the Snitch, his fingers were about to touch it, and Gryffindor was about to win the game.
At that moment, Cho Chang suddenly pointed her finger at the ground. She let out a cry of surprise, as if she had seen something, and everyone looked down.
Distracted, Harry looked down.
In the direction of Cho Chang's finger, three tall, black, hooded Dementors were seen running towards the Quidditch pitch. They were looking at Harry.
There was a shout in the stands, and all the young wizards took a deep breath.
They didn't understand what was happening. The Dementors had evacuated Hogwarts and returned to Azkaban, why did they appear on the pitch?
Out of instinctive fear, the young wizards subconsciously felt fear and the scene was chaotic.
Because of Cho Chang, Hermione, who had been secretly angry and did not plan to talk to Ivan, was now unconsciously close to him, her small face full of tension.
Unlike other people, Ivan saw at a glance that the three guys below were not Dementors, but Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle!
They should be pretending to be dementors to scare Harry, to get him distracted or to make him fall off the broom out of fear, like last time.
Malfoy was stupid enough to pull such a silly prank. Ivan was speechless. He didn't know what to say. He wondered where Malfoy's IQ had gone.
Last time, he was on the staircase to ambush him. This time, he thought about disguising himself as a Dementor to scare Harry in front of the Wizard School.
Couldn't he use his brain before acting?
In the panic that surrounded him, Ivan pulled out his wand as fast as he could.
"Patronum Expecto!" he shouted, easily summoning his Patronus.
With dazzling brilliance, Ivan's Patronus rushed towards Malfoy.
Harry didn't stop to think. As Ivan reminded him to put his wand away before the match, he plunged a hand into the collar of his robes, pulled out his wand and pointed it at Malfoy. A huge silver-white stag emerged from the end of his wand.
The stag bounded away and Harry didn't stop to look.
His body leaned forward, almost leaping out of the wand, and his fingers successfully closed in on the struggling Snitch in front of him.
Just as Harry caught the Snitch, the young wizards reacted.
They pointed their wands at the Dementors. Suddenly, several Patronuses appeared from the stands, twice as many as the Patronuses that appeared in the previous game.
The scene was spectacular, and the light from the Patronus was even stronger than that of the sun.
With astonishing momentum, hundreds of Patronuses rushed to the ground, and the three Dementors stood in place, watching the Patronuses approach, and unconsciously backed away.
They wanted to escape, but as their legs were limp, they knelt straight down on the ground.
All three looked frightened and didn't know what to do.
Malfoy's heart almost stopped beating, his eyes dilated, and he looked unbelievably at hundreds of Patronuses coming closer and closer. He seemed to have realized that it was a stupid idea to act like a dementor to scare Harry.
