Chapter 356: The Fire Dragon and the Temple of the Moon

After a brief pause, the battle continued.

Ivan knew he had to seize the moment and not let the fallen centaurs summon the evil god from the void; otherwise, the battle would become increasingly difficult.

Even if it was just a magical illusion, it was all too real, and no one could guarantee the strength of the evil god that had surprised Gryffindor.

Ivan didn't know how Okegiga had defeated him at that moment, but the most obvious way was to destroy the magic that was summoning him before the evil god came to earth.

Thinking of this, he waved his wand.

Under Ivan's control, the huge stone giant bent down and reached out to slowly grab him and place him over his right shoulder.

A gentle breeze blew, and his view became wider.

Ivan could see the vast forest, and the towering old trees on the shore.

Nearby were the dense wooden houses of the centaurs. The battle continued, and smoke was billowing in many places. On the central island of the colony, the Temple of the Moon, built of obsidian stones, was tall and seemed fiercer.

Above the Temple, a strange vortex was forming in the sky, glowing red, as if something was about to be summoned from the clouds.

Unrepressed magic was overflowing, and this magic was clearly about to succeed.

"I'll be waiting for you up ahead!" Ivan waved at Okegiga.

He waved his wand, and the stone giant rose up and swiftly stepped into the centaur colony.

His vast, gray rock body frightened all living things, for he was so heavy that the whole earth rumbled with his every step.

Under Ivan's control, the stone giant destroyed all obstacles in front of him in the most primitive manner, crushing them with brute force.

The fallen centaurs tried their best to shoot arrows at him, but it didn't work.

Ivan kept waving his wand to repair the damaged body of the stone giant, and from time to time cast several powerful spells in front of it to cooperate with its attack.

Okegiga was not willing to be left behind. He led the centaurs around the stone giant controlled by Ivan, and defeated the enemy with his arrows.

Under Okegiga's leadership, the centaurs attacked again and again, like a black hurricane, and were unstoppable, trampling the bones of the enemy.

The colony was filled with fighting and angry shouts. These centaurs were natural warriors. They had no fear as long as there was a hero to lead them.

The wily goblins saw that the situation was not in their favor and they all disappeared on the spot.

They were hired to join the Centaur Civil War and came only for the gold promised by the fallen Centaurs, not to lose their lives here.

The stupid trolls, with their fetid stench and hideous appearance, kept swinging their wooden mallets that were as tall as two men, but without the cooperation of the goblins, they were quickly slain.

In one attack, the fallen centaurs suffered heavy losses.

They were losing ground and began to retreat to the Temple of the Moon on the central island.

Ivan took advantage of the victory to pursue them. The closer he got to the Temple of the Moon, the more he could feel the strangeness of the ancient sacred place of the centaurs. The corrupted magical energy was changing the sacred Temple.

Outside the obsidian, there seemed to be a layer of blue mist. Through the fog, what could be seen on the back wall were not the complicated and mysterious star maps, but all the terrifying patterns of the devil that were beyond the imagination of ordinary people.

On the murals were the monsters Ivan had seen before. They were like a mixture of fungi and insects. Their heads were full of holes of different sizes.

In addition, there was a huge monster with terrible claws all over its body. Huge arms covered with black hair divided in two at the front. Each hand had sharp claws, the size of a giant's head protected by thick hair and bones.

The most terrifying thing about the skull was its huge mouth, growing vertically instead of horizontally, filled with huge yellow teeth, straight from the top of the head to the bottom.

A blast of blue mist drifted past, and the line of sight clouded over. There seemed to be more such monsters on the murals, and in front of them, there were all sorts of flesh and blood sacrifices.

These degenerate centaurs must have been completely insane to believe in that horrible evil god.

Ivan could hardly imagine that anyone would try to summon these monsters from the void.

He controlled the stone giant below him and, at the top of the black Temple, Ivan saw a large number of Centaurs standing on top of the platform, crawling along the ground to see what ceremony was taking place.

Following, at the site of the original Centaur statue, he saw....

The next second, Ivan suddenly trembled. A pair of cold-blooded red eyes appeared in his mind inexplicably. He felt an indescribable fear.

It was like meeting a Dementor. Everything around him, even his memories, began to fade and wither. All her happy memories disappeared, leaving only fear.

Under the gaze of the blood-red eyes, Ivan was in a trance.

Bang, bang, boom!

In the mist, he seemed to see a huge black body flying from above the temple. He raised his wand and wanted to resist, but he was immersed in endless terror.

After a loud impact, Ivan felt that the stone giant below him had been crushed.

After the loss of magic, he quickly collapsed. Ivan was falling from the sky and was about to be buried alive.

He was going to die; maybe it was a relief....

No, it couldn't end like that. He did his best to think of things that would make him happy. He thought of Hermione and his purpose in coming here.

"EXPECT PATRONUM!" shouted Ivan, waving his wand.

He unconsciously used this magic, hoping it would work.

Along with his movements, a silvery white cat emerged from the tip of his wand and ran with a small white light on the top of his temple.

Ivan's consciousness quickly returned, and it seemed that he could finally recover from an endless nightmare and return to reality.

He found that his body was rapidly falling through the air, and the rocks he had summoned were crushed and destroyed. There were stones of different sizes around his body.

Ivan raised his wand, but it was too late.....

At the last moment, a vigorous figure flew past, catching Ivan, and a heavy, long spear took all the rocks beside him.

"Human, what are you doing? don't go there!" Okegiga said in a hoarse voice. "We must retreat. I didn't expect you to tame that thing."

"What?!" Ivan was stunned. He didn't understand what the centaur was talking about.

What did he mean by "that thing"? Was it the evil god?!

Soon, through Okegiga's arrogant face, he saw what monster flew out of the temple and smashed the stone giant he had summoned.

Above the sky, there was a black fire dragon!
