"How do you know my name, Gramps?" The man shouted. Kenji slowly rolled over to look at Toshi. "Oh please, don't act like you don't remember me. I trained you when you were young! Kushibo Kurazaki!" Toshi said happily. The man dropped Toshi quickly. Kenji slowly started to stand up. "If you're thinking you can beat me, kid, then you must be an even bigger fool than I initially thought." Kushibo said as he turned to face Kenji. "Although, I will admit that you are quite durable for such a young person." Kenji jumped toward a tree and rocketed himself off of it. He launched toward Kushibo. Although Kushibo thought it was going to be a direct attack, he noticed that Kenji didn't have the sword with him. He punched Kenji in the gut, knocking him 30 feet away from where Toshi was. Kenji finally gave up and passed out. "He wouldn't have charged toward me like that without a plan, right?!" Kushibo thought. "So what is it?!" Suddenly, Kenji's sword fell from the sky. Kushibo was quick to dodge, but the sword still caught his shoe. "He must've thrown the sword when I and Gramps were talking! He threw it just high enough so that it would land on the branches of the tree! After figuring out the location and timing, he jumped onto the tree to put pressure on it and knock the sword down! This kid...this kid was actually planning the whole time!" Toshi figured out what was happening and looked up at Kushibo. "You shouldn't have underestimated him." Toshi muttered. "That was the first thing I taught you. I can't believe you've forgotten about our lessons, Kushibo." Kushibo looked at Toshi. "Although you won against the kid physically, I can tell that you are still torn mentally."
Kenji woke up. He was inside a house. He felt his heart throbbing violently in his chest. Kenji rose slowly. He saw posters lined on the wall, each with its own motivational message on it. The walls were lined with curtains, all beautiful and vibrantly colored. In a corner of the room, he saw Kushibo and Toshi talking to each other. A warm bowl of rice was next to him. He picked up the bowl of rice and started eating. "So you're finally awake, kid?" Kenji looked up. The voice he heard was deep and rough. By the time he had picked up the bowl of rice and looked down, the ominous figure of Kushibo Kurazaki loomed over him.
