Rasengan!

Namaru wakes up early the next day for school. He walks down the stairs to be greeted by his mother, who is cooking breakfast.

"You're up early. Special occasion?"

Namaru nods and Sarada goes back to cooking.

"Today, I can hopefully finish my training with the Hokage, that way I can go back to a normal life and hang out with my friends."

Sarada turns from her cooking pot to Namaru.

"Your life will never be normal, since you have the Kirokugan and since you're Sasuke's grandson. The other kids will always treat you differently, friends or not."

Namaru's face turns into one of unamusement.

"Way to be blunt..."

Sarada shakes her head and takes a drink of coffee.

"Sorry, but I'm still waking up. Go get ready for school, and I'll get you something made to eat."

Namaru goes upstairs and gets changed. When he comes back down, Sarada is finishing a quick meal up for Namaru to eat before he heads out. Once it's done, Namaru eats with Sarada since she made herself something, too, and heads out for school. Once he gets there, he is greeted by Chino and Osawa.

"You guys are getting here before me, now? Maybe Shino-Sensei was right. Maybe I AM rubbing off on the two of you."

Chino gives Namaru an unimpressed look, and rolls his eyes.

"Shut up, man. Let's just head inside. I wanna sit down."

The trio head inside and to their homeroom, where Shino is waiting for them.

"Early again, you two? Keep it up."

Namaru speaks up, wrapping his arms around his friends' shoulders, who both stand on opposite sides of him.

"Actually, Sensei, they were here before me."

Shino look surpised.

"Impressive. Well, go take your seats, and I'll write down the time you arrived."

The three nod and head into the room. They sit down, and not much later, the rest walk in. As soon as everyone is seated, Shino begins his lesson.

"Alright. Taijutsu. Who can tell me what that is?"

Namaru's hand immediately goes up, and Shino gives him a confused look.

"Namaru? You've never raised your hand. Go ahead, though. I won't complain."

"Taijutsu refers to any techniques involving the martial arts or the optimization of natural human abilities. Taijutsu is executed by directly accessing the user's physical and mental energies, relying on the stamina and strength gained through training. It typically does not require chakra, though chakra may be used to enhance its techniques. Taijutsu generally requires no hand seals to perform, occasionally making use of certain stances or poses, and are far quicker to use than ninjutsu or genjutsu. Taijutsu is, simply put, hand-to-hand combat."

Shino looks shocked, but isn't too impressed. For a second, he forgot who he was talking to.

"Very good. Now, who can tell me a few Taijutsu Masters?"

Tsumira's hand raises, along with others, of course. Although reluctantly, Shino calls on her.

"Tsumira."

Tsumira, begins acting a little more enthusiastic. After all, her specialty is Taijutsu.

"Just to name a few, we have Might Guy, Rock Lee, Metal Lee, and any Hyuga ever."

Shino nods.

"Very good, and although the Hyuga comment wasn't much needed, it is also appreciated. Taijutsu, while typically it doesn't require Chakra to use, the Hyuga Clan specializes in Chakra-based Taijutsu known as the Gentle Fist. They focus their Chakra into their hands, and strike their opponents Chakra points, initially eliminating their Chakra flow to anything past that point for a short time. Not all, but most Hyuga can see these Chakra points with their Byakugan. Not only can the Byakugan see chakra points, it can also detect enemy movements, see through walls, and because of it's near-360° field of vision, it has virtually no blind spot whatsoever. Now onto the next portion of the lesson. Who can name a few Taijutsu techniques?"

Chino raises his hand, and Shino calls on him, nearly failing to call the student by his preferred nickname.

"Are- Chino."

Chino smirks as he put his hand down and goes into his answer.

"We have the Leaf Hurricane, Dynamic Entry, Primary Lotus, Leaf Whirlwind, and after opening the 8 Gates, there's the Hidden Lotus, Morning Peacock, Daytime Tiger, Evening Elephant, and Might Guy's personal move, the Night Guy."

Shino points to Chino briefly.

"I'm glad you brought up the 8 Gates, since that's what we're gonna talk about next. The 8 Gates are literally 8 Gates in your chakra stream that act as mind-body limiters. The human body, standardly, operates at 20%, but in the 1st Gate, it goes up to 30%, 2nd to 40%, 3rd to 50%, 4th to 60%, 5th to 70%, 6th to 80%, 7th to 90%, and 8th to 100%. Since the 8th Gate allows your body to function at 100%, it ultimately kills you. Might Guy was able to avoid this fate because of the 7th Hokage. Lord 7th used his Yin-Yang release to stabilize Guy's life force. With that being said, let's move on to the next portion of the lesson."

Shino spends the rest of class teaching the students about Taijutsu, and the basic fundamentals for it. Once their time is up, Shino dismisses the students, and they all leave and go their separate ways, Namaru getting out of there as quickly as he can to go meet up with Naruto in the training grounds. Upon arriving, Namaru discovers that Naruto is already there holding a water balloon.

"Water balloons? I thought we already used those."

Naruto nods.

"We did, but it's time to go back. In our first exercise, you learned about rotation. In our second, you learned about power. Now for the 3rd and, by far, the hardest step...put the two together."

Naruto tosses Namaru the water balloon as Namaru asks a question.

"Huh? What do you mean?"

Naruto stratches the back of his head, like usual.

"Exactly that. Now you need to combine the rotation and power together."

Namaru, still confused, continues.

"But I already burst the water balloon before."

Naruto shakes his finger.

"This isn't about bursting it. This exercise is about NOT bursting the water balloon. You have to spin your chakra and add power to it, but keep it stable. If the balloon pops, or even moves, full mastery is not yet achieved. You have to be able to create a contained sphere within the balloon without moving or popping it."

Namaru shrugs.

"Sounds easy enough."

Naruto shakeshis head.

"I assure you, it's not. It's the hardest step of them all."

A snarky smirk appears on Namaru's face.

"We'll see about that."

Namaru sits down and grabs a water balloon. He first starts rotating his chakra. Before he can even add any power to it, the balloon has already popped. Visibly slightly disappointed, Namaru tries again, this time adding power first. In the end, he just achieved the same result; a popped balloon. Naruto sees Namaru starting to become a little more upset, and decides to give him a hint.

"Don't try and apply them separately. Apply them both at the same time, then condense it all. Don't take away any power or rotation, just condense and focus it."

Namaru nods, and tries again, this time, adding both stages at once. Hoping for a better result, he gets upset when the balloon explodes even quicker than before.

"Ugh! I can't do it!"

Naruto places a hand on Namaru's shoulder.

"Yes, you can. If I did it, so can you. Even Boruto managed to do it, and you have better chakra control than he did when I taught it to him. Thing is, he was older, then, than you are now. You got this. I believe in you."

Another voice is heard behind both Namaru and Naruto.

"So do I."

Namaru turned around to see Sasuke standing there. This gave Namaru all the motivation he needed, and he tried again...and again...and again. He kept trying, and probably went through 100 balloons before finally being able to contain his chakra enough to not pop the balloon. Instead, it's shaking. Naruto sees his progress, and decides to give him another tip.

"Alright, Namaru. We're down to the last few water balloons. You just need to condense your chakra even more in that balloon until it stabilizes, and the balloon is completely still."

Namaru nods and looks at Sasuke, who is simply staring at him, watching intently. Namaru, then, looks back to his balloon, closes his eyes and begins to focus his chakra more...smaller, smaller, smaller. Suddenly, Namaru hears a voice.

"Congratulations, Namaru. You've completely learned the Rasengan."

Namaru opens his eyes to find that the balloon is completely still, but when he uses his Sharingan, he can still see that his chakra is still spinning. He turns around to look as Sasuke, but only to see that Sasuke is gone. Namaru disperses his Rasengan, and crushes the water balloon in his hand.

"So...my training is complete? I can go back to my life, now?"

Naruto kneels down in front of Namaru and grabs his shoulders gently.

"This, Namaru, was PART of your life. Your life is also just beginning. There's no getting back to something that hasn't even fully started. Also, do you realize you completed this final stage in just a few hours?"

Namaru looks around to see that it is still the middle of the day. Finally, something hits him.

"I can still try and meet up with Chino and Osawa."

Before Naruto can attempt to say something meaningful, Namaru is already gone, running toward the Ramen Shop. Naruto can only chuckle to himself.

"That boy. He's something special."

Once Namaru gets close to the Ramen Shop, he can see something he never wanted to see. He saw Daichi picking on Chino and Osawa.

"Don't have that Uchiha brat to protect you, do ya? I see you two are friends of his."

Daichi stomped on a grounded Chino. Daichi looked different, somehow. He looked tougher, slightly more muscular. I guess about as muscular as you imagine a 10-year-old getting. Acting only on pure instinct, Namaru jumps into the fray. Before Daichi can even blink, Namaru stands before him.

"Leave them alone."

"Oh, look. Their body guard's here. Watcha gonna do, Uchiha?"

Namaru throws a few shuriken, and Daichi dodges them.

"You need to work on your aim, there Uchiha. It seems you've lost your touch."

Namaru smirks.

"Did I?"

Namaru pulls backward, and Daichi finds himself bound up by wire.

"Those were wired shuriken?"

Namaru, still smirking, replies to Daichi.

"Sure were. Now, for the finale."

Namaru focuses, and forms a spinning ball of chakra, and dashes at a bound Daichi. Before Daichi knows it, Namaru is right in front of him, and that chakra orb is digging into him.

"Rasengan!"

Daichi can do nothing but scream with wide eyes.

"IMPOSSIBLE!"

Daichi is sent flying backward, and into a nearby building. Namaru helps Chino and Osawa up before Namaru speaks sternly at a nearly unconscious Daichi.

"I don't care if you're the Hokage's grandson. You won't go around treating me or my friends like dirt, or I'll pummel you into it."

Namaru, then, turns to his friends.

"You guys ok?"

Chino is the first to respond.

"Yeah, thanks to you. Was that really the Rasengan?"

Namaru nods.

"Sure was. That was the technique I was perfecting."

Osawa begins speaking what was on his mind.

"So, then that means your trainer was either Boruto, Kakashi, Koji Kashin, or-"

"The Hokage."

Hearing a familiar voice finish his sentence for him, Chino turns to see Naruto walking up. Chino and Osawa both immediately bow. Namaru turns to his friends.

"I told you guys I was learning from the Hokage."

Naruto turns to Namaru and speaks.

"I saw that Rasengan, Namaru."

Namaru looks a bit guilty, almost as if he thought he was in trouble.

"You did? Oh..."

Naruto continues what he was saying previously.

"And I came to say I couldn't have done it better for my first time. In fact, I didn't do any better with my first Rasengan."

Chino and Osawa both stand up, shocked, as Namaru responds.

"Really?"

Naruto nods.

"Yup. That Rasengan was nearly perfect. It took many years for me to get to the stage you're at. Like I said, you have exceptional chakra control, which the Rasengan requires. That was amazing. Maybe in the future, you can make it your own the same way I did with my Rasenshuriken. I would get these two to Sakura so she can check their injuries, and make sure they're alright."

Namaru respectfully bows to Naruto.

"Yes, sir."

Namaru takes Chino and Osawa, and helps them to Sakura's house, where they are given a full body check, minor healing, and sent on their way. The 3 parts ways outside of Sakura's new house, and Namaru heads home to be greeted by an angry-looking Sarada.

"I heard you got into a fight outside the Ramen Shop."

Namaru, thinking he's in trouble again, hangs his head.

"Yeah I did, but I was just helping my friends."

Sarada crosses her arms.

"I heard that too...AND I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!"

Sarada gives Namaru a big hug, which embarrasses Namaru as Inaga is nearby. Once Namaru is released, Inaga speaks up.

"I also heard you used the Hokage's Rasengan. Is that true?"

Namaru looks at Inaga.

"...Yeah...I was going to keep it a secret from you, but-"

Inaga interrupts Namaru before forming a Rasengan of his own that he learned from Kakashi.

"No need to keep secrets here. I've been training with Kakashi Hatake to perfect my Chidori into a completed Lightning Blade; something you should never try and do, and you didn't hear from me that I'm learning. It's overly difficult to master. But in the process, he also offered to teach me the Rasengan."

Namaru looks excited, now.

"Cool, so now we both know it. We need to test our Rasengans against each other in the future."

Inaga tries and slow Namaru's roll.

"Calm down, Namaru. I don't think its a good idea. Considering you got direct training from the Hokage, yours is probably going to be quite a bit more refined than my own."

Namaru shrugs.

"Probably true, but you never know into you try. You're much stronger than me."

Inaga places his hands on Namaru's shoulders and kneels down in front of his face.

"No, Namaru, I'm not. With your Kirokugan, you have a ton more potential than me. Not to mention you currently have a 3 tomoe Sharingan in each eye when your Kirokugan shuffles into it, while I've just barely unlocked my third. Either way, it's getting late. You should probably head to bed."

Namaru tries to continue the converation.

"No need to finish this conversation so quickly."

Inaga begins to grow more stern.

"Now, Namaru. I have a mission to leave for anyway. I need to help escort the Sand Ninja here from the Land of Wind, which will take a while."

Namaru pouts, but does as he's told, and goes upstairs since he's always had a father-son bond with Inaga even though they're siblings. Namaru goes to bed and prepares to be talked about in school the next day.
