Arrival of the Sand Ninja

Once Namaru is in bed, asleep, Inaga sets off, with a team, toward the Land of Wind.

Namau stays away from the academy for a couple days, but the 3rd morning, Namaru wakes up to head off to the academy, to be greeted by people staring at him and muttering under their breaths. Before Namaru can even get to the academy door, Namaru hears a voice behind him.

"Uchiha!"

Namaru turns around to see Daichi standing on the edge of the property. Namaru and Daichi exchange stares before Daichi continues.

"I don't know what made you think it was ok to steal an Uzumaki family technique, but don't think it makes you special."

Namaru smirks, which enrages Daichi, who begins running at Namaru, but stops dead in his tricks once Namaru holds a Rasengan in his right palm. Daichi wants to attack Namaru, but knows he'll fail with his current skill set compared to Namaru's. Namaru, then, begins speaking, surprising almost everyone since a very select few people have ever heard his voice.

"Did you know, Daichi, this jutsu was created by the 4th Hokage, who wasn't an Uzumaki? Then, it was taught to the 4th's Sensei, who wasn't an Uzumaki? Then, it was finally taught to our 7th Hokage, who is the first Uzumaki to ever know the technique? Then Lord 7th taught it to 3 other people, only one of which was an Uzumaki? The other two are myself, and Konohamaru Sarutobi. Altogether, only 2 out of 6 Rasengan users are Uzumaki's. My bad, it's actually 9 users, as the 6th Hokage was taught the jutsu by Lord 7th's teacher, and Lord 6th taught it to my older brother Inaga, and the user after Lord 7th is, Koji Kashin, who is a clone of the second user, so Uzumaki technique? I think not. I believe this jutsu is taught to those deemed worthy of using it. As far as I'm concerned, you should never learn it. The jutsu may be known by your father, but you aren't ready for the technique, and with that attitude, you never will be. Who knows what you would do with a technique that's pure power."

Namaru disperses the Rasengan, and turns to walk away, but Daichi runs up and grabs his shoulder. Namaru suddenly substitutes into a log, then drops down from above, holding another Rasengan, which is thrusted into Daichi's upper torso. Daichi goes tumbling into his friends who all get knocked down. Once Daichi stands up, he looks at Namaru who, now, has his Sharingan active, and a Chidori in hand. Daichi completely freezes and his eyes widen. Just as Namaru's about to lunge forward at Daichi and pierce him with Chidori, Naruto drops down from the roof of the school, and land between the two, first looking at Namaru, then at Daichi. Namaru disperses his Chidori, and supresses his Sharingan. Naruto sternly speaks to the two.

"Both of you. My office. Now. You don't mind, do you, Shino?"

Shino, who is standing nearby in shock, regains his composure before saying he doesn't mind at all. Naruto, then escorts the two to his office. Once at the main door to his office, Naruto's shadow clone poofs away, and the real Naruto speaks from beyond the door.

"Both of you. Get in here."

Namaru opens the door, and they both walk in, Daichi muttering that he could've gotten the door himself. Naruto looks between the two before speaking.

"You two should know better than to be fighting especially on school grounds. Daichi, you need to stop picking fights. Leave Namaru alone. I think you keep forgetting he's from the Uchiha Clan, which just so happens to be a pinncale Clan in the village, the other two being the Uzumaki and Hyuga clans. If I hadn't stepped in, Namaru would have killed you just now, do you understand that? You. Could. Have. DIED, Daichi. I don't even know why you hate the Uchiha. I know Boruto didn't raise you that way, and you definitely didn't get it from me. Why do you hate Namaru so much?"

Daichi immediately fires back.

"Because the Uchiha nearly ended the world. First Obito, then a ressurected Madara, then Sasuke, himself tried killing you. Had he succeeded, we would be in a much different situation."

Naruto begins growing more stern as he responds.

"That was the past, Daichi. Sasuke atoned for his actions, Obito turned good after realizing what he had done wrong, and Madara is dead. His body was transformed into the body of an evil being who was resealed, and is probably dead by now. He was the only true evil Uchiha. The rest mended their ways."

Daichi just plainly questions.

"Have they really, though?"

Suddenly, Daichi sees himself getting pierced with a Chidori by Namaru. Once the vision is gone, Daichi collapses to the floor breathing heavily, and sweating profusely. Naruto looks at Namaru wondering what happened. Namaru speaks to Daichi, very seriously.

"I am giving you one last warning, Daichi. Insult my family again, and what you just saw will happen...without hesitation."

Namaru turns to Naruto before continuing.

"No need to worry about him...yet. For the time being he's perfectly fine. That was just a Genjutsu. It was only to scare him. But what he saw could come to pass if he keeps running his mouth. Question is: Will he keep his mouth shut?"

Naruto speaks sternly at Namaru.

"No, the question is: What did he see?"

Namaru smirks with a response.

"He saw his possible death."

Naruto narrows his eyes at Namaru before having Shikamaru escort Daichi out of the room before returning to his chair at the Hokage desk and looking at Namaru.

"Namaru, you have to remember Daichi isn't near as skilled as you. If I hadn't stepped in, as I told him before, you would've killed him. He isn't a Chunin or Jonin, he can't go against someone who's at Chunin or possibly even Jonin level. Namaru, using the Rasengan is one thing, but you were about to pull a Kakashi."

Namaru gives Naruto a confused look.

"Pull a Kakashi?"

Naruto sighs, realizing Namaru doesn't know what happened.

"Years ago, when I was still a Genin under Kakashi Hatake alongside your grandparents, we were on an escort mission, and were ambushed by a man named Zabuza Momochi. He and Kakashi fought, Kakashi used his implanted Sharingan from his old friend, Obito, and then a man in an Anbu mask, named Haku, knocked out Zabuza. We all thought he killed Zabuza. Well, it turns out they were a team, and ambushed us later on a second time. Haku was tough, but we managed to take him down. Kakashi and Zabuza had another fight, where Kakashi used his Sharingan again, and formed his Lightning Blade. He took the exact same stance that you did, and lunged forward to pierce Zabuza in the heart to kill him. Haku, being incredibly fast jumped in the way at the last second, and got killed instead. Zabuza saw the error of his ways, and died fighting for Haku's honor, after his death. Point to the story is, you almost did to Daichi exactly what Kakashi did to Haku. You need to tone it down around Daichi. If you try to kill him, and he sees it, he will say you've proven his suspicion that you're not a good person, but I know you are. Believe it or not, Daichi, being only 10, still has a tiny bit of power in this village from being my grandson."

Namaru, once again, looks at Naruto confused.

"Couldn't you just relinquish any power he has?"

Naruto shakes his head.

"I did, but the village kids still decide to listen to him for some reason, which is why I said 'a tiny bit.' There's emphasis on 'tiny.' Very few kids don't listen to him. Haven't you noticed he's treated like God at the Academy?"

Namaru shrugs.

"Not really. I don't pay attention to him unless he does something to provoke me in the first place."

Suddenly, there's a knock at the office door. Naruto look up to respond.

"Come in."

The door opens, and in walks Inaga, followed by Kankuro, Shinki, and finally, Gaara. Inaga looks at Namaru and his eyes widen, but he says nothing in order to be respectful in front of the Kage. Instead, he just turns to Naruto to speak, but before Inaga can get a word in, Naruto has already began speaking.

"Gaara. Welcome, old friend. Shinki, Kankuro. Welcome."

Gaara is the first to respond.

"Thank you for having us."

Gaara looks down at Namaru before continuing.

"I didn't know you had company."

Naruto uses this as an opportunity.

"This is Namaru Uchiha."

Gaara looks shocked.

"Did you say Uchiha?"

Naruto nods.

"Yeah. He's Sarada's youngest son. As a matter of fact, he's going to be competing in the upcoming Exams to become Genin, here in two years, but at the moment, he needs to get back to the Academy. He's missing the lesson."

Naruto dismisses Namaru, who leaves and goes straight to the academy. Gaara, then turns his gaze from the door after watching Namaru leave, back to Naruto.

"How do you feel about him in the upcoming exam?"

Naruto smirks as he replies to his old friend.

"I don't think Namaru will have much trouble with the written test. He has the best grades out of all of his classmates. He has 2 friends who aren't far behind him. Arekkusu Tsurara and Osawa Murio. The 3 of them are prodigies in their own rights, not just mentally, but even ability-wise. The 3 are equals."

Gaara and Kankuro share a confused look before Gaara speaks.

"Tsurara and Murio Clans? Where are they from? I know where the Uchiha clan is from, but the other 2 clans I've never heard of."

Naruto looks into his files.

"The Tsurara clan is from the Hidden Cloud Village, and the Murio clan is from the Hidden Rain Village. Any specific reason as to why you wanted to know?"

Gaara gives Naruto strange look.

"Two children from separate villages, and you're letting them attend your academy, and participate in your graduation exam?"

Naruto responds,

"Both of them have family here. They are both half from the Leaf. Arekkusu's mother and Osawa's father live here, so they could participate in any of their parents' village's graduation exam, and it be valid. They were both just sent here since we have a better education program, but as I was saying before, each one is a prodigy, all of them having mastery over their Kekkei Genkai. Arekkusu with his Tsurara clan Ice Release, Osawa with his own Ice Release as well as a proficient user of both Wind and Water Styles, and Namaru with his Sharingan/Kirokugan."

Gaara has an expression of realization.

"Kirokugan. Is that what his left eye is called?"

Naruto nods and Gaara questions further.

"Do you know what it does?"

Naruto sighs and shakes his head.

"We do not. Sasuke believes it's able to memorize Kekkei Genkai, dojutsu included, and allow the user to use all of the stolen abilities, while the victim still keeps the Kekkei Genkai."

Gaara chuckles.

"Just like Shirane Dorobou, the Genkai Thief of the Mist."

Naruto shrugs.

"Well, Shirane is Namaru's father, so that may have something to do with it."

Gaara softly smirks before speaking.

"Then I look forward to seeing what he's capable of in the Chunin exams, especially against my grandson, Fujiki. As we have matters to discuss, where shall my subordinates and I stay for the next few days?"

Naruto gestures to Inaga.

"This young man right here will show you where you'll be staying."

Gaara nods and the 3 Sand Shinobi turn around and make their leave, Gaara and Kankuro on a Sand cloud, and Shinki using his Iron Sand to form wings. Inaga turns to Naruto before asking a simple question.

"Namaru wasn't in trouble was he?"

Naruto shakes his head.

"Absolutely not. I just wanted to have a talk with him."

Inaga lets out a sigh of relief, and excuses himself. Back at the Academy, Shino is teaching the kids how to stand on water. Namaru, Chino, and Osawa were nailing it, even after Shino disturbs the water's surface, they still have no problems standing. The trio look around to see everyone else somewhat succeeding...except Daichi, who keeps falling through the surface of the water every time he takes more that 2 steps. Chino and Osawa begin laughing at him, but Namaru walks toward him. Shino is looking in horror as Namaru is walking toward Daichi. Upon arriving at a fallen Daichi, Namaru sticks his hand out offering to help Daichi up, which Daichi smacks away before screaming.

"You think I need your help?"

Namaru puts his hands up in surrender, and as he turns to walk away, he gives Daichi some advice.

"Instead of focusing your chakra to one foot at a time, keep in constantly flowing in both feet at all times, that way you don't have to worry about switching your chakra from one foot to the other at the right time. Keeping a steady flow is key."

Namaru walks away, but not before hearing Daichi's remark.

"What do you know, Uchiha?"

Namaru turns around to see Daichi taking his advice and doing exactly as Namaru said. Daichi is, now, seen succeeding, and is able to walk on the water surface, albeit unsteadily, but it's being done. Once everyone has a basic grip on it, Shino escorts the class back inside where they continue out their lesson.
