We're going to do a small 2-year time skip, and I'm sorry if this first part is rushed, but it's boring. Namaru is currently sitting in class, finishing his timed test, and concluding the first part of his exam.
"Finally. Finished."
Namaru, Chino, and Osawa all finish around the same time, with Osawa being the last to finish, and they all hand in their tests together. A while later, everyone else began to finish, Daichi being the first. A couple hours later, Shino hands back the scored tests. Namaru, Chino, Osawa, and, surprisingly, Daichi all have perfect scores. Shino congratulates everyone on passing, and announces that the final part of the exam will be the next day at a nearby forest before dismissing the class. Namaru goes home, and shows Sarada his results. She isn't surprised too see that he passed with aplomb, knowing her son is a prodigy. She cooks a delicious dinner, and after eating, everyone goes to bed. Namaru wakes up the next morning, and gets ready to head to class to meet up with Shino and everyone else before going to the assigned forest. He opens the front door to find Chino and Osawa on the other side.
"How did you guys find out where I live?"
Chino shrugs as Osawa responds.
"The Uchiha crest kinda gives it away."
Chino interrupts.
"That's not important. Come on, guys. We don't wanna be late to the finals."
Namaru gives Chino a confused look.
"We still have plenty of time. We're all meeting in the classroom first, and the time it starts doesn't change."
Osawa jumps in.
"We know that, but we're also always the first ones there. We don't wanna be late arriving at our usual time."
Namaru shrugs.
"Makes sense. Let's go, then."
The trio make their way to the academy together. Once they arrive, they are greeted by Shino. They take their seats, and wait for everyone else. A short while later, the other kids start walking into the room, and take their seats, the first of them being Daichi. It seems he's trying to find a way to keep up with Namaru. Once everyone is seated, Shino begins the class with a short introduction, and escorts them all to the forest for the exam. After arriving, Shino, once again, begins to speak.
"Alright, everyone. Today marks the final day of your graduation exam, and for, hopefully, all of you, the day you get promoted to Genin. The proctor of your exam will be..."
Sarada drops down from a nearby tree, and lands perfectly, before Shino continues.
"...Sarada Uchiha. I will let her take things from here and explain everything to you."
Sarada thanks Shino and begins speaking to the class.
"So I'm going to establish some ground rules. You will all be divided into teams of 3 decided by myself. These teams will have no effect on your 3-man squads after becoming Genin, so whoever you're teamed up with today will only be temporary...except for Ino-Shika-Cho. That team-up is absolute. Once you are into teams, you will be given a team number. This number will decide what order you go in. You all have the same task. That is, to get this bell off my hip within 2 hours. Those who get the bell, pass the exam. I know, it sounds easy, but believe me...it's not. One more thing..."
Sarada points to Namaru, Chino, and Osawa.
"...You 3 go last."
This means that our trio will all be on the same team. Sarada assigns the other 3 teams for the exam, and they begin. The 1st two teams pass, but with extreme difficulty. The next team up consists of Daichi Uzumaki, Tsumira Hyuga, and an un-named student who isn't important. Seeing the 1st two teams pass, makes Daichi too over-confident. They begin their exam. Daichi retrieves the bell, but the team ultimately fails, as Sarada tells them they lacked what is required to become ninja. Last up, is Namaru's team. The trio line up on a starting line, and Sarada leaves with a smirk on her face to get into position. Shino asks the 3 of they're ready. The three all nod, and Shino gives them the signal.
"Your two hours starts...NOW!"
All three of them don't miss a beat shooting off that starting line. They dart into the forest, and while travelling to Sarada's location, Chino turns to Namaru, and speaks up.
"So, what's the plan?"
Namaru gives Chino the most obvious response ever.
"Simple. We get that bell."
Osawa chimes in.
"But there's only one bell. You have to get the bell to pass, which means we can't all pass this thing."
Namaru looks back with a response.
"There's a trick to it. The first 2 teams all passed. There's something we're missing. We just have to find out what. Until then, let's work together, and play to our strengths. I am proficient in both Fire Style and Water Style, as well as the Rasengan and Chidori, both. I would also mention my Sharingan and proficiency with Genjutsu, but that's nothing for Sarada since she also has the Sharingan, and can see right through Genjutsu with it. Chino, how well is your Kekkei Genkai coming along?"
Chino smirks.
"Don't worry about me. I'm good enough with my Ice. It's Osawa you should be questioning."
Osawa simply shakes his head.
"Remember, Chino, we both use Ice. Your's is just more advanced, plus you don't need to know the basic elements of Ice, unlike myself. I'm also highly proficient in Water Style and Wind Style. So, together, we have Fire, Water, Wind, Lightning, and Ice. We're just missing Earth, and we have all 5 basic chakra natures on our side. Namaru, what can you tell us about Sarada?"
Namaru thinks for a second before he responds.
"First thing's first, is her Mangekyou Sharingan. She can use it to not only counter my Genjutsu, but she can also use Mangekyou abilities, one of them being Amaterasu, the other being a powerful Genjutsu. She can also use it to summon her ultimate defense: the Susanoo, which can fire Yasaka Beads, and wields a bow and arrow just like Sasuke's. On top of that, she also has the Hundred Healings Seal, enormous physical strength, mastery over the 5 basic chakra natures, and a summoning jutsu. Don't think she won't use all of these on us, because she absolutely will. If it comes down to her using Susanoo, and things get out of hand, I do have a secret technique I've been working on, that no one knows about, except me and my father as he's helping me learn how to use it. If she uses Genjutsu on you guys, I will release it, so don't worry about that. Anyway, we're getting close, so Osawa, you focus on staying at a range and out of sight. Myself and Chino will do the up close and personal fighting. Only reason I'm having you stay at a range, is because you're the most skilled in stealth out of the 3 of us. If she's distracted with the two of us, you might be able to sneak up on her and get the bell. Does this plan sounds good to you two?"
The 3 agree on the plan, and decide to put it into action. What they didn't notice, however, was Sarada's summon, a Hawk, in a nearby tree listening in and feeding her their entire plan. Sarada smirks, and prepares for a tough battle. Our trio arrive, and immediately set their plan into motion. Namaru and Chino charge in, and Osawa runs in a different direction. As expected, Sarada focuses on the two coming right for her, but not before activating her Sharingan, and blocking both Namaru and Chino, and stopping them in their tracks. She throws her arms outward, causing the two to back away. Namaru quickly releases a Hidden Mist Jutsu, which obstructs Sarada's view. Sarada turns to her left just in time to see Osawa reaching for the bell. He almost has his finger on it, when she grabs him, swings him around, and disarms him in one swift movement. Suddenly, an kunai whizzes past her head, and she barely manages to dodge it. She does a back handspring, and uses her Susanoo to create a powerful gust of wind that disperses the mist instantaneously. She looks to see Chino standing there alone. Sarada, then, realizes she's against a tree that didn't exist before. She quickly turns around and cuts down the tree with her Susanoo. In the distance she hears a familiar name of a Jutsu.
"Wood Style: Deep Forest Bloom."
Sarada's eyes widen in slight fear before she jumps backward, but not before becoming ensnared by tree branches. She quickly uses her Susanoo to break out. Before she knows it, the forest Namaru created is complete, and a thick fog of pollen engulfs the area. Sarada tries using her Susanoo to block it, but the pollen passes right through. She resists long enough to get out of the range of the cloud, but only briefly, as it suddenly rushes toward her at incredible speed, caused by Osawa's Wind Style. She eventually succumbs to the pollen, and begins to black out. She falls backward to be caught by Chino, who is reaching for the bell. Sarada feels a sudden surge of willpower, and swings around Chino to kick him away. She looks to see she still has the bell. She jumps high into the air before weaving a strand of hand seals.
"Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!"
Sarada gathers wind into her mouth, and blows it downward toward the ground, creating a giant gust of wind that destroys Namaru's very small Deep Forest Bloom, and disperses the pollen cloud. Once she lands, the 3 go to charge her again, but she quickly disarms them and tells them the test is over.
"I've seen enough. Your exam is finished. You pass."
Namaru, Chino and Osawa all share a confused look, before Namaru speaks up.
"What? But we didn't get the bell."
Sarada smirks.
"Neither did the others. I let Daichi get it to get is hopes up, but he left his team in the dust to fight me himself. 6th Hokage, Kakashi Hatake, once said "In the ninja world, those who break the rules are scum, but those who abandon their friends are worse than scum." This exercise was about teamwork and how well you are willing to work as a unit. I stopped the first two teams after seeing their level of teamwork, which is how Ino-Shika-Cho finished so quickly. You 3 could learn a thing or two from them. Individually, you are stronger, but in a 3v3 fight against them, you wouldn't stand a chance. They told me they've been training together ever since before the academy. Those 3 have strategy comparable to Chunin, but none of that's important, now. From this point on, you 3 are Genin. Also I see what you did with the Hidden Mist. Very clever, Osawa."
Osawa gives Sarada another confused look, himself.
"How did you know it was me and not Namaru?"
Sarada chuckles.
"Well, for starters, the fog rolled in from behind me, and another thing, Shirane hasn't taught Namaru how to use the Hidden Mist Jutsu, yet. A very clever ruse, nonetheless. I also can't forget to mention your stealth, Osawa. I didn't even know where you were until you were right up on me reaching for that bell. Good work, you 3."
Sarada hand the 3 their Ninja Headbands, and has them put the headbands on before escorting our trio out of the forest. They are greeted with cheers for passing. All of the students go home, except for Namaru, Chino, and Osawa. Sarada decided to treat them all to Ichiraku for passing their test. While there, they run into Naruto, who's enjoying a bowl of ramen, himself, accompanied by Hinata and Himawari. Naruto congratulates the 3, and offers to pay for their meal, but Sarada turned him down and said she had already planned to. Naruto shrugs it off, congratulates them a second time, and goes back to spending time with this wife and daughter. Sarada and the Genin enjoy the meal, and go their separate ways.
