As soon as the 4 people pass through the portal, I get up from the throne. As usual, much to the general annoyance of the castle nobles, I was dressed like a commoner. But a commoner with the crown.
I took two steps forward, and just saw the figure approaching me, and hugging me, with a strength that I thought it was impossible for someone to have just because of the magic. I, of course, hugged her back as I felt her tears on my shoulder.
We stayed like that for a long time, being stared at by the trio, the sorceress and the two wizards. Knowing that was enough, I put her feet back on the ground, while pulling her back a little to see her.
She was a stunning woman. Perfect in my eyes. But that's when the world seemed to lose its color. I started getting slaps, hard consecutive slaps on any body part she could hit.
I could see Sabrina laughing at my misfortune, but there was nothing I could do but suffer like a man. I knew where she was coming from and why, so I just shut up, knowing how much she's suffered, and how much she needs to vent.
After nearly 30 minutes of a nice spanking, she stopped, looking at me like she didn't want to lose the picture in her mind. I was different, a little, but different. Now I had a beautifully crafted beard.
My muscles were in her places, not making me a big guy, but giving me that feeling of being in shape, with an enviable health. My golden eyes remained bright even though they were green before.
I was tall, 1.88 cm tall, and she, at 1.65 cm tall, was still cute. Her body was much more developed, I could see that it was a little injured, because of the experiments she had done in the veil.
Staying close to that thing too long makes you sick, mad, or both. She has the first.
"Hermione Jane Granger, you have no idea the worry and trouble you've caused me with your stubbornness. But, I must say, I thank you for wanting to stay by my side, even after all.
As you can see, I am the king here and you are the queen. This is your home and your kingdom. That vile woman over there is Sabrina, a snake herself, don't mix with her, I tell you.
That man with the thick mustache over there is Vesemir, a wizard, wise, and very attentive. Gentle and powerful. A good friend I must say. There, next to him is Geralt, a kind man, but who for some reason, refuses to go see his daughter.
The one at the door, Private Reyes, and on the other side, Jake. They are good men, but have a tendency to spend their money in the brothel. Too bad, that's why they're still single, I say.
Now that I've introduced those who are here, I'm going to get you some rest while we can catch up on our affairs. You are dismissed, and Vesemir, get payment from Sabrina yes." I say, winking at him, which made the sorceress almost throw a fireball at me if she could.

In the bedroom, I make a barrier to prevent people from seeing or hearing our conversation. She notices that I just moved my hand, not needing a wand or anything.
"You've gotten more powerful, Evans." she comments, lying in a bathtub, with warm water and potions for bathing and relaxation.
"Thanks to you, Hermione." I answer, and I see through the shadow, that her face has turned towards where I am. "Your reckless action toying with the Veil nearly caused your soul to be torn apart, and sent to various realities.
This is what we call going out of existence. But the problem is, if someone goes out of existence in one reality, their existence in the veil of the multiverse is gone too. But that's just in some cases, mind you.
To save your soul, I sacrificed mine, which advanced the process of my ascension and now, this reality is one of many that I care for. That's why your chest didn't explode, your wand still works, your magic didn't tear the cloth of chaos and make a new convergence.
You woman to find me almost destroyed yourself and many realities in the process. Good thing Dad was watching, or things could be catastrophic." I say, and I can see his shadow sinking into the tub.
She then just mumbles. "Sorry, I know it was inconsequential." still hidden in the bathtub.
"Inconsequential? woman, it was stupid, do you know how many lives you put at risk because of this obsession of yours? Millions of Millions, I don't even know how to measure that number. And all that, to go after an idiot. What were you thinking? "
"You do know that the idiot in question is you right?" she teases, trying to change the subject.
"It won't work Hermione, we're talking about something very serious here, one I'll show you shortly. But first, rest up, then you'll meet my goddaughter." I say with a smile, the mischievous girl who always makes me laugh.

A few days later, I took Hermione to meet Cirilla. We stayed there for a while, and then we decided to go back. That world wouldn't have the problems your original one has, so I could do whatever I wanted since I've changed everything here a lot.
After that, I opened the door, taking Hermione with me to the Place Above. Then I began to explain in detail everything that happened.
I had to mirror the world she was in so her magic wouldn't cause major problems or kill her on the first try. The chaotic magic of this world costs much more than magic alone, which is why sorceresses do so little.
"This place sucks, as you can see. It's always like that, white everywhere, with a view of the myriad realities that exist. That's how I spend the eternities from now, watching that nothing moves or goes to an unusual end."
I finish explaining the procedures of my new job.
"Then you need to summon a hero, or make yourself one, giving a little power so you can descend and live in any one of them. To keep from chaos, you ask your sisters to take care of it. Do I understand correctly?" she asks.
Her expression is none other than cute. I saw the machinations run in that super smart brain of hers.
"Yes." I answer uncertainly, waiting for the next blow.
"Do you want to call a hero? Or do you want to take me to other realities?" she had a smile on her face that disarmed me.
"Let's call a hero. You're going to need to spend time here with me."
