Chapter 3

"Daddy! Why didn't you wake me up? I'm late!" Arley shouted, who had just woken up screaming and filled the whole house.

His hand grabbed the towel that was on his study chair, ran to quickly take a shower and get ready for school. It could be said that Arley only took a quick shower because ten minutes was too fast for him. Dress quickly, combing her hair is no less fast. The important thing is to be ready. That's the concept Arley is applying now.

His right hand grabbed the bag in studying, while his left hand grabbed the tie that was still on the coat hanger behind his bedroom door.

As fast as lightning, his long legs ran towards the dining table where his father was already there. The middle-aged man was just silent with his head propped up looking at his son who was busy with his tie and uniform. He chuckled lightly to find his son who was still grumbling annoyed because he was late.

"Why didn't daddy wake me up?"

"Who didn't wake you up, son?" Adam asked, raising an eyebrow. He looked down at his son.

"Papa has been waking you up since six in the morning. And you just mumbled, five more minutes Pa! I am still sleepy." His words imitated his son's words earlier. "Yes, papa, just let you sleep again."

"But I'm so late! Papa didn't wake him up louder!" Arley was apparently annoyed.

"Who told you to stay up late watching the drama?" Adam replied sharply, making Arley silent because it was true.

"Already. Let's eat. Then you'll be really late."

Finally Arley complied, eating the seafood fried rice that was served in front of him voraciously. There was no chat from the pair of father and son. There is only the clinking of spoons against each other filling the dining room.

It took Arley almost ten minutes to finish his breakfast. Hurry up to drink the milk that Adam has provided. He drank it down and immediately left after seeing the hands of the clock which was already showing 07.30.

"Don't run!" Adam scolded when he saw Arley running through the door.

"Only 30 minutes left Pa! If I don't run I'll be late!" Arley shouted back as he ran away from his yard.

"Yes, be careful! Watch your way!" Adam shouted again looking worried at the way his son was running. Very fast, like being chased by a dog.

"That boy. Never changes." He mumbled. Getting ready to head off to the office immediately for work.

"Uncle! Don't close it yet!" Arley shouted at his school security.

"Tumben You're late Ar?" Asked the security guard when he opened the gate again when Arley had entered.

"Hhhh... Hhhh... I woke up late." Arley replied, still catching his breath.

"Thank you sir. I'm going to class first." He said goodbye to which the security guard nodded.

From the gate to his classroom, Arley was running again. Hope that the teacher who taught the first lesson hasn't come yet.

Maybe the goddess Fortuna was on his side. The class is still noisy with students still chatting. His feet stomped quickly onto the bench. Sit down and take a deep breath. He breathed a sigh of relief because it wasn't too late.

"Why are you late?" Sean asked who looked concerned at his best friend's breath, who was still hunting.

"I woke up late, because I watched the drama last night." He replied after being able to neutralize the roar of his breath.

"You're a habit! If you've watched dramas, you'll forget to sleep." Sean growled, annoyed with Arley's habits.

"Hehe... It's really fun after all." Arley grins.

"Don't get used to it. Enough rest is good for the body." Zevan replied from the back seat.

"Yes, not anymore." Regret Arley.

"It's been quiet, the teacher has come." Sean scolded Arley and Zevan immediately turned their attention to the front of the class.

For the past two weeks the three creatures have grown closer. Zevan, who is actually a quiet young man who prefers to be alone, finally mingles with two hyperactive youths who talk a lot.

Being the only one who is quiet, but also not ignoring the existence of two young men who are always talking. Even if he would only respond with a grunt or a curt reply.

Being near Zevan somehow made Arley feel comfortable. The quiet figure also seemed to be avoiding the world around him, making Arley interested. Trying to get closer to Zevan even though the young man doesn't seem to really care about his whereabouts.

Zevan seems to have a magnet that can attract people to come closer. But unfortunately, the young man doesn't want to respond to everyone who wants to approach him. The impression of being cold and indifferent to those around him is the most important thing that makes other people not want to get close to him.

In contrast to Arley, Sean also seems to have more strength, to the point of wanting to get closer and even become a friend of the icy young man. It's like there's no obstacle for the two of them when they're close to Zevan. The chatty Arley and Sean with the quiet Zevan, but able to balance their behavior like a perfect match.

At first the whole school was surprised by the closeness of the three youths with different personalities. Like the heavens and the earth which are very far away and opposite. But everything was broken by the three young men who showed that their nature was different but they could still be friends. Can complement each other in their own way.

"Let's go to the cafeteria!" Asked Arley to stand up from his chair.

"Come on. I'm hungry. My brain's already puffing like smoke from an ancient train." Sean grumbled walking out of the classroom.

Arley followed behind Sean, followed by Zevan who as usual would only be silent but followed the footsteps of his two friends.

Along the corridor, the three walked hand in hand. With Sean still grumbling annoyed with chemistry lessons that drained his brain. Arley, who was about to respond with laughter, also scorned Sean. While Zevan only pays attention to the road in front of him which he thinks is more interesting than anything. Don't forget, a headset that is always faithfully attached to both ears.

"Watch out!" Zevan exclaimed, pulling Arley's hand when the young man didn't even pay attention to the road because he was engrossed in Sean.

"Oh, sorry sorry. I don't see." Arley said apologizing to the student who was carrying a pile of textbooks, he almost hit him if Zevan didn't pull his hand to dodge.

"It's okay." Said the young man and walked away.

"Thank you." Arley said sincerely to Zevan. Don't forget the sweet smile on his lips.

"Hmm."

Things like this don't happen infrequently. And in the end it was Zevan who would always remind his two friends. Even though he is silent, his eyes are very sharp looking around him. Keeping his two friends in silence. Making sure everything stays on track.

"You're not eating?" Sean asked Zevan who just sat with a bottle of mineral water in front of him.

"I'm not hungry." His reply was short and flat as usual.

"Ku see you rarely eat." Arley commented after swallowing fried noodles.

"Are you dieting to keep your body good?" Sean asked again.

"No. Just still full." Answer Zevan yes.

"By the way, I'm very jealous of your good body shape." Arley pouted looking enviously at Zevan's stout body and muscles.

"Control your eyes Ferguso. For eyes will pop out of place." Sean exclaimed, pointing his spoon at Arley's face.

Arley just looked at Sean sarcastically hearing his words just now. Turning his attention back to Zevan sitting in front of him.

"Where do you go to the gym?" asked Arley, who was already curious.

"At home." The answer is short. As usual.

"I can't believe it!" Arley screamed.

"Shhh, what do you want?" Sean hissed, asked Arley.

"I want to have a body like that too." He grumbled sullenly. His eyes stared longingly at the burly body in front of him..

"Hahahaha...." Sean laughed loudly at Arley's words. And it certainly attracted the attention of the entire cafeteria. "Look at you Ar! A cute face is also beautiful like you, there's no need for a burly body."

"Who says it?"

"I am. It's just getting to be said." His finger pointing at his own face doesn't forget his innocent face.

"But what you say is often not true." Arley replied firmly.

"Shut! Your mouth is sharp, I'm hurting." Drama Sean holding his chest.

"Where there are uke bars like you are hurt."

"Hey, Uke really can't be hurt." Sean protested looking at Arley fiercely.

"If you go to bars like you, you don't deserve to be hurt." Arley exclaimed, taking a sip of his watermelon juice..

"In fact, I feel sorry for being pseudo. You can be sure he will lie on your bed serving your overdose." added Arley decisively. His words came out smoothly just like that.

Sean's face was bright red. Between holding back anger even though her best friend is also embarrassed for being the center of attention of several students who are close to their desk.

"Your mouth is slippery." Sean hissed. His hand went up to pat Arley's head in annoyance.

"Silly idiot!"

"That's why your words are filtered!"

"That's a fact!"

"But don't tell me you can. A lot of people. It's embarrassing to hear."

"Hahaha... You have shame indeed." Arley mocked.

"You're my friend aren't you? You really like to insult me."

"Because you are so fit to be insulted. Hahaha..." Arley's laughter bombed again.

"Zevan!" Sean exclaimed, looking at his other friend who was calmly sitting in his chair and not bothered at all by the two of them..

Zevan only raised an eyebrow. As a 'what' sign to call Sean.

"Help me mutilate this demon boy, let's go! Then we throw the body into the crocodile swamp." Sean growled with anger.

"Wow, premeditated murder." Arley exclaimed.

"A creature like you should be exterminated, Arley." Says Sean is getting angry.

"Don't be furious. Later no seme will want to be with you!" Instead of stopping. Arley even more and more with his teasing, making Sean even more annoyed.

"You die!"

"If I die, you won't have friends like me."

"I have nothing to lose if I don't have a friend like you." Sean sneered.

"Oh really?" Arley teased raising and lowering his eyebrows.

"Come on. Already about to come in." Invite Zevan to get up from his chair. Inviting his two friends who will always fight words that have no use to immediately go to class. Every day, these two will always be like that. But it will end by itself. It's as if they forgot that the two of them had an argument, even as if they wanted to kill each other.

Zevan knows, that's the way Arley and Sean show each other their love. It was a strange method, but deep in the hearts of the two young men there was a mutual desire to protect each other. Doesn't everyone have their own way of taking care of their loved ones? And that's Arley's way as well as Sean's. It's also different from the way Zevan keeps the two new themes.
