Chapter 4

"Let's play later. Where is that?" Sean asked Zevan and Arley who were busy with their respective cell phones.

"Where are you playing?" Arley asked, turning to Sean.

"How about going to the playground?" Sean asked. "That would be fun. It's been a long time since I've been to the playground."

"Come on."

"Ok. How about you Zev?" Sean asked looking at Zevan.

"I'll go with you." His reply was curt as usual.

"Good! That's great then." Sean cheers.

"Hurry there already!"

There was a commotion from the front. Distracted all three of them to see what was up. Arley and Sean's mouths gaped wide in disbelief at what was in front of them. A pretty girl with a petite stature that their underclassmen knew, was walking with her head down carrying a rose. Which made both of them even more surprised because the girl stopped right in front of Zevan who even ignored the existence of the girl beside him. Too busy in their own world.

"Z-Zevan" Call the girl stuttering. Looking up, I dared to see Zevan's face which was flat, cold with no expression ripple.

"What is it? If it's not important, get out." Zevan said without bothering to look at the girl who looked nervous.

"This is for you!" exclaimed the girl handing a bouquet towards Zevan.

Arley and Sean's eyes widened. Staring at the girl who dared to give a bouquet of flowers to Zevan. Arley quickly took the flower and threw it away. He stared at the girl blankly.

"What do you mean give flowers to Zevan huh!" Arley snapped with his face red with emotion.

"Why are you angry? I gave flowers to Zevan because I like him." Replied the girl whose name was Flora, she didn't like it.

"Are you stupid or something huh!" Arley snapped once again. "Zevan is allergic to stupid hay fever! And you gave him roses instead! You want Zevan!"

Hearing Arley's words, Flora's eyes widened. Don't know if it turns out that the man she likes can't be close to flowers. Even though he mustered up the courage to say his love for the cold famous level brother, but ended up being stupid.

"Sorry, I didn't know." He squeaked his head down.

"Next time if you want to act, think first!" Arley's voice is still emotional.

"Yes, sorry." Flora bowed to Arley as well Zevan "I'm sorry I've harmed you Zev."

"Hm, go." Zevan said in a low tone, but his voice sounded a little hoarse. His eyes were still tightly closed, you don't want to open it or something you don't want and shouldn't see other people happen.

Flora quickly ran out of the classroom, holding back the sobs of regret and shame .

"You stupid! Where's his brain? He said he liked it, how come you don't know about this trivial thing." Arley muttered, still emotional.

"His name is also love just because of the sight alone. Wouldn't want to just find out about this kind of thing." Sean said annoyed. But his annoyance was not like Arley who was already very emotional.

"You too. If there's something like that, don't be silent." Instead, Arley snapped at Zevan who was still silent where he was sitting.

"Hm."

"Ham hem ham hem then if you tell me." For some reason Arley was very upset to see the girl's action earlier as well as Zevan's response, which was just ordinary. In fact, if he didn't throw away the flowers, it is certain that Zevan would be rushed to the hospital.

"You idiot!" Arley snapped once again. He chose to walk out of the classroom to get rid of his annoyance at Zevan.

"What's that kid? It's not even clear to be angry. You're okay anyway." Sean said in surprise as he watched Arley's back disappear at the exit of the classroom.

"Maybe it's sensitive." Zevan replied nonchalantly. His voice was still a little hoarse.

"Hm possible. But are you sure it's okay?" Sean asked after looking at Zevan who was still in that position.

"I'm fine." Zevan said, calming Sean who sounded worried.

"If you feel bad later, just talk. I'll take you to the UKS."

"Um."

*****

"Stupid girl. If you like it, you don't know that Zevan is allergic to pollen."

Throughout the school corridor, Arley still had an annoyed face on his face. Until it ends in the park behind the school. Sitting on a bench under a shady tree. His mouth is still grumbling in annoyance, occasionally his feet kick the fallen dry leaves.

"What happened to you?"

"Shit!"

Arley jumped in surprise when there was already a young man sitting beside him. Wearing the same uniform as the school uniform. His face was pale, with empty eyes staring ahead.

"You startled me!"

The young man chuckled. "Sorry."

"Um, it's okay."

"What happened to you? How come you're so annoyed?" again the young man.

"Just being surprised by one of my classmates. The time when she likes Zevan but doesn't know the things that should even be kept away from her. It's really stupid, isn't it." Arley's story was long.

The young man just nodded at Arley's words.

"Do you like Zevan?"

The words of the youth beside him put Arley in his place. His lips felt numb just to answer that simple question. It hurts in a corner of his heart when he thinks of Zevan.

"You're silent, that means the answer is yes." Once again the young man beside him made Arley unable to reply to his words.

Arley sighed after the two of them were silent for a while. "Is it wrong if I like my own friend?" Arley asked, looking closely at the young man beside him.

"Not. Love can't choose where it will stop. And love also can't choose who he should love. Love comes by itself, sometimes even without us knowing it is already present."

Arley again fell silent hearing the words of the young man beside him. Justifying every young man's words which are true. It's been more than two weeks now Arley continues to struggle with his heart because he loves his own friend.

Four months close to Zevan also know some of the young man's traits, able to make Arley's heart beat should be. Keep that special feeling to yourself. Staring at his handsome but cold face every day, is his favorite routine. Even if you have to do it in secret. Arley didn't have the courage to tell his feelings for Zevan. Afraid that the young man would not like a man like himself who was more attracted to a man than a woman.

"If you love him, why don't you just tell him?"

"I'm not that brave." Arley said sluggishly.

"Why?"

"I'm afraid he's not like me."

"Wouldn't you know if you didn't try?"

"Yes. But I'm scared." Arley squeaked his head down.

"My advice, just try it first. As for the result, that's a matter for later." The young man suggested.

Arley was silent for a moment after listening to the words of the young man beside him.

"Hm, looks like you're right. I'll try later. Thanks for the advice." Arley said, smiling at the young man beside him.

The young man beside him nodded, smiling slightly that looked sweet even though his lips were pale. Looking back to the front where the grass sways in the wind.

"It's like I've never seen you." Arley was confused when he felt that the young man's face was a little strange. "Did you just move here?"

"I've been studying here for a long time. You're the only one who doesn't see me." The young man answered ambiguously.

"The feeling that almost all of my generation are also my juniors, I almost know all of them." Arley wonders.

"Don't think about it."

"Hmm okay." Arley surrendered when his brain also couldn't remember what grade the young man beside him was. "Oh yeah, what's your name? We've been talking for a while and I don't even know your name."

"My name is Glen. And you're Arley aren't you?"

"Eh, how did you know?"

The young man named Glen chuckled seeing Arley surprised. "Everyone here knows who you are, Arley. Moreover, you are someone who is very close to him." Glen said ambiguously.

"Close to him? Who do you mean?" Arley was confused.

"Don't think about it. Looks like you have to enter Ar. It's time to go to class."

"Ah yes. I've been here too long and too busy talking to you to lose track of time. See you soon Glen!" Arley exclaimed leaving.

"Don't want to go to class together?" asked Arley who was surprised that Glen was still sitting relaxed.

"You go first."

"Oh well. See you later."

Arley immediately walked with a little run. Leaving Glen alone in the back of the school which is often lonely. Those vacant eyes grew even more empty after Arley's departure. Still comfortable sitting quietly on a park bench without any intention to move.

****

As planned this afternoon. Now the three youths of different nature are enjoying some rides at the playground. All sorts of games are completely ridden by these three. From those who need intelligence to those who need adrenaline.

Sean, who was very curious about entering the haunted house, forced Arley and Zevan to join in. The result was as Arley expected. Dean was scared with sweat profusely also don't forget his pale face. Arley, who really likes to tease Sean, scares him even more when he gets to the middle of the haunted house. If only Zevan didn't stop Arley's ridiculous behavior, then we can be sure Sean would really be in there.

"You were so mean to me Ar." Sean growled when he was outside.

"Hahaha... Your scared face is so funny Sean!" Arley was still laughing. So happy to be able to prank his friend.

"I'll kill you bastard!" Sean's annoyance rose. Ready to attack Arley if the cruel young man didn't run away.. "Come here you bastard! run!"

"Do not want!"

"Don't hide in Zevan's armpit! Little devil!"

"That means you're a friend of the devil! But why were you afraid of the demons inside, huh? Hahaha..." Arley again mocked Sean with satisfaction.

"Akhhh! How can I have a friend like you! Shit!" Furious peaked.

Instead of apologizing or feeling sorry for Sean being genuinely scared, Arley laughed even more. You little devil indeed.

"Already. What else do you want to play? It's already dusk." Zevan exclaimed who was the saneest of the three.

"I just want to go home."

"Don't want to eat first?"

"Not. I just want to eat at home. Instead of me being jailed again with that little devil." Sean muttered, still annoyed with Arley.

"Yes already, hus hus and go home. I still want to ride the Ferris wheel for a while." My sister shooed away her laughter.

"Up to you. Then how are you Zev?" Sean asked, looking at Zevan.

"I will accompany Arley. But, is it okay for you to go home alone?"

"No problem. I'm a grown man, so I can go home alone. You have to worry about that little devil who can disappear if you go home alone."

"No way. What am I a little kid that I lost." Angry Arley.

"You are not a child, but a little devil. Already ah. I am home. Be careful with that little devil, Zev. If he persists, just throw him off the Ferris wheel. Bye!" Say goodbye to Sean and disappear among the crowds of visitors to the still-bustling amusement park.

"Alright, let's buy the tickets." Arley exclaimed excitedly.

The two of them were enjoying alone time in the giant Ferris wheel that was spinning. Enjoying the sky slowly starting to turn orange, indicates that dusk is approaching. Gives a feeling of comfort as well as being amazed by the beauty and elegance of the twilight.

"Ar." Call Zevan to Arley who looks engrossed in the sunset from behind the Ferris wheel.

"Hm. Why?" Arley asked looking back at Zevan.

Zevan, who was sitting in front of Arley, raised his face. Staring closely at the brown eyes that shine beautifully. Dive into the eyeball which is full of warmth and love inside.

Cup.

Arley's eyes widened when Zevan's wet lips kissed his forehead. Such a long and deeply impressive kiss. As if channeling all the love that the young man in front of him had.

Their foreheads pressed together when Zevan stopped kissing Arley. Close your eyes trying to neutralize the pounding heart that is getting crazier.

"Ar." Call Zevan one more time.

"Hm."

"What if I love you?" he asked in a low voice.

Arley was surprised, but he was also happy. That means, his feelings are reciprocated. The plum lips are smiling broadly.

"And what if I love you too?" Arley Zevan replied.

Thin lips that rarely smile, curved beautifully. Print a smile that looks handsome.

"I love you." Zevan whispered. A quick peck on Arley's lips.

"I love you too." Reply Arley smiling brightly.

Zevan hugged Arley tightly. Grateful that his feelings are not one sided. Witness the twilight that has begun to disappear, returning to its bed. Leaving the night sky that began to darken after the departure of the twilight. Replaced by the stars that began to glow beautifully accompany the moon sitting on its throne, further complements how beautiful and happy the feelings of the two creatures of God who have now met because of love.
