Chapter 32

"Who are you calling a dirty pig? All of you men are the dirty pigs?" Danzel glared at Jaysa. Danzel sat up halfway. It was hard to sit up completely with Jaysa sitting on him.

"Even if you are to be my wife, I will not permit you to speak to me like that." He spoke in a low growl.

"Just because I'm marrying you, doesn't mean I have to like you." She spat back at the man.

"You will obey and respect me no matter what." Danzel replied. Jaysa looked at the man that was in front of her. He wore the same smirk on her face. He wasn't mad at all. He was playing with her. So she was his entertainment. Her thoughts were broken when he spoke up again. "You will respect my position as King." Danzel spoke. "…and speaking of positions." His voice turned seductive. "Will this be our first position you want to try out on our wedding night?" Jaysa quickly looked down. She hadn't realized that she was straddling Danzel. Her face went completely red. She said something under her breath and Danzel was unable to hear what it was. "What did you say?" He asked. She spoke again but he still was unable to hear her." What? I can't hear you." Danzel's head was leaning to the right. He leaned in closer to Jaysa, trying to hear what she was saying. Her head hung down. "Can you repeat that?" He asked.

"You pervert." Jaysa screamed as she pushed him back down on the floor. She got off the man as fast as she could.

"Miss, are you okay?" The maid asked while heading over to Jaysa, but stopped when she saw the flames of hatred burning in the girls' eyes. She looked over at the Prince which had a huge smirk on his face. Danzel stood up and dusted himself off. He walked over to his fuming bride and spoke.

"I'll never get bored of you." He chuckled as he turned to leave the room. Jaysa was now beyond madness. She was picked for his entertainment. Her fists were in a tight ball, and she gritted her teeth. It looked like she wanted to attack someone at any moment. He was having fun with this. She was not going to be his damn entertainment.

"Damn that man!" Jaysa yelled at the top of her lungs. Her voice carried around the room and outside into the halls. Footsteps stopped, and the man turned around towards the voice. Danzel grinned.

"This will be fun."

An hour passed and Jaysa was calmer then she was before. The ceremony was about to start any minute. She was nervous wondering if she could really go through with this. If worse comes to worse, she can try to bail. She wouldn't get far, but that might help her get out of this wedding and marrying that man. However, if she married him, she could talk him into changing what mess his uncle created. She was pulled between those two thoughts that she didn't even realize that she was walking down the aisle.

When did I – Her thinking was stopped as she looked at Danzel. She couldn't speak. It took her breath away. The man in front of her stood tall and cocky like he always had, but somehow he looked different. Danzel held out his hand to Jaysa, and without thinking, she grabbed it. She couldn't help but stare at this handsome creature. He wore the same outfit she saw earlier, but for some reason in this atmosphere he was truly beautiful. The idea of her running away flew out of the window. She now stood next to the man she would call husband, and the Priest stood in front of them both. He spoke out the words that Jaysa did not catch. Her mind was filled with him. She would take glances at him to see if anything had changed. Danzel caught her a few times and only grin. Her face turned red knowing she was caught and that embarrassed her.

After the wedding, they went to a reception in a room that held hundreds of people. Jaysa stayed at her husband's side as they gave the new King their blessings. What Jaysa noticed was the people in here were either Royalty or Noble's. There were no peasants. It made her feel awkward. She was not used to these things. Everyone in here was enjoying themselves. The women decked themselves with expensive dresses with evenly expensive jewelry and makeup. The men were no different. They wore suits that she knew could buy her village a whole days' worth of food if not more. These people have so much money, but yet they are greedy and spend it on themselves. They don't even try to help the poor. Many were drinking high quality liquor, and some snacking on the food that was offered to them. There's nothing she could do but watch everyone around her. Even though she knew that she and Danzel were the center of attention, she felt like someone was staring at her, and not in a good way. It felt like it was full of hatred. She looked around to see if she could spot that person, but to no avail. She wanted to dismiss it, but she could still feel their eyes burn against her back. She couldn't take it anymore; she needed to find out who it was. While her husband was still mingling with the guest, she quietly slipped away. Jaysa pushed her way through the crowds to find that source of hatred. That's when she saw a man glaring at her.
