Chapter 71

Danzel was walking down the halls towards his chambers. He was quite

exhausted, even though the two girls came to eat at the table with him during dinner.

Jaysa had never spoken a word to him since the execution. When he tried to start up a

conversation with her, Jaysa would just nod or make a sound, but would never actually

say a word. He reached the familiar double doors that he had seen several times

before, but something felt off. He felt like the room was no longer his. Was it because

Jaysa was staying in this room? That couldn't be it. Why would it feel this way? Danzel

had no answer to his questions. He did, though. Now that his wife was behind the door

and he was worried if she was going to give him the same cold shoulder that she had

been giving him.

Danzel reached for the door knob and opened the door. He noticed the two girls

sitting on Jaysa's side of the bed. His wife was grooming the young girl's hair with a soft

brush. He closed the door and walked over to his side of the bed. He knew that they

were aware of his presence. They just ignored him. He was becoming irritated, but he

didn't want to make her more upset then she already was. He wanted to kick out the kid

and give them both pleasure that even the Gods would be jealous of. Danzel knew that

Jaysa couldn't resist the sex. He just had to get the kid out of the room. He spoke to the

girls.

"I'm getting tired. "He faked a yawn and a stretch. "I would think it's about time

you girls call it a night." He spoke. Jaysa did not say anything, and Madison did not

move from her spot. "Did you not hear me?" Danzel spoke a bit louder. Jaysa did not

speak. Irritated, Danzel walked over to Jaysa and Madison. He ripped the brush out of

Jaysa's hand.

"What the hell are you doing?" Jaysa yelled out. Madison moved out of the way

as Jaysa stood up and faced Danzel.

"I told you that she needs to leave." He spoke at Madison. "Girl time is now over."

"She is not leaving. She's actually going to sleep here with me." Jaysa spoke

back.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Danzel spoke. "I will not have a peasant

sleep in my bed." Danzel yelled.

"Then I'll leave!" Jaysa yelled out. She turned to Madison. "We need to go." She

tried to speak with a gentle voice, but the irritation still leaked through.

"Where do you think you're going?" Danzel yelled.

"Us, peasants, are going to leave this room to sleep in another."

"Who said-," Danzel growled. "Why do you always act like this?" Danzel took a

breath before speaking again. "You are such a bitch during the day and a slut during

the night. What is wrong with you? Do you have some sort of personality problem?"

Jaysa could feel anger building inside her. Calling her a slut went too far. She didn't

want to continue this fight even though this man pissed her off beyond all means. Not

saying a word, Jaysa headed towards the door. Danzel was shocked over the way she

was acting. He brought himself back to reality and ran over to Jaysa. "Don't leave." He

spoke as he grabbed her arm. Jaysa did not say a word. "I need to speak to you." He

looked over at Madison. "Alone." Madison looked at Danzel and back at Jaysa. The

young Queen nodded her head and Madison removed herself from the room. Once the

door was shut, Jaysa felt her arm being yanked and her body was pulled into Danzel

embrace. His lips caught hers in confusion. She pushed at her husband's chest, but

Danzel used his strength so she could not move.

"St... op…" Jaysa muffled out as she turned her head each time to avoid the

man's lips. "I said stop." She pulled away and slapped Danzel as hard as she could. He

let go of her. Jaysa saw anger in his eyes.

"Why are you acting like this?" Danzel yelled. "I can never understand why you

act the way you do." Jaysa spoke in a low voice.

"I told you about-."

"Your past, yes." Danzel spoke irritated. "But you and I have already been

together. So why are you still acting like you do." Jaysa did not respond. "You can't

keep using your past as an excuse for not being with me. I told you that I'm not like

those men." He stopped to see if she would respond. Jaysa still stayed quiet. He

growled at the non-response he was receiving. "You will soon need to carry my children

and give birth to them. So why do you still act this way?" No response came from the

young Queen. "Why are you not talking to me?" He yelled. "Normally you would be

yelling back at me, not sitting here being as quiet as a mouse. What the hell is wrong

with you?" He yelled as he grabbed Jaysa's arm making her look at him. She darted her

eyes elsewhere. "Answer me! Why?" Jaysa did not look up at Danzel as she spoke.

"I have been through so much stuff in the last couple of days. You demanding to

have sex and have me give birth to your children. Some man accused me of being his

lover and having a child, and then an execution." She looked up at him with tears in her

eyes. "Could you possibly understand any of this?" Danzel slowly let go of her arm

allowing it to fall to her side. "You could never understand how I feel. You keep using

those words slut, whore and peasant. Do you know how those words affect me?"

Jaysa's voice dropped down and she spoke. "You say you're nothing like those men

because you don't act the way they do, but you sure as hell talk like them." Danzel

stayed quiet. He thought back when he was pleasing her before. Could it be the reason

she beat him with the book was because of what he said?

"I, I'm sorry-,"

"I don't want to hear it. Right now I don't want anything to do with you. So if you

could please just let me be." She spoke out. Danzel nodded. If he had to, he would

allow her some freedom. But just for now.

"Fine, I'll allow you to settle in and do as you please, but remember this. You are

still my wife and you will still act as such in public." Jaysa nodded. She left the room

meeting up with Madison and heading over to the young girl's chambers.
