"What's going on here?" A man's voice spoke. The guard turned to see some of
his comrades. He smirked.
"I was having some fun." The man spoke with a grin. The men looked at the two
women and one spoke out.
"Don't tell me you were trying to have fun with the King's wife?"
"What?" The man was confused. This woman was really the King's wife. A
blonde guard walked up to the jet black haired guard and spoke.
"Since your station is outside here on the grounds. I know that you don't know
about what had happened in the castle. Over a month ago after the King married, he
killed a guard for attacking his wife." The man looked over to Jaysa.
"So, she's really…" He began to speak.
"Yeah! You just harmed the King's wife." Fear filled his entire body. Jaysa stood
up once her lungs were full of breath and said,
"I demand you to arrest this man." She pointed at the guard that attacked her.
"And if you don't. I will tell my husband that you disobeyed my order."
"What the hell. Like they're going to – wait… what the-," The man spoke in
surprise. He felt one of the guards take some rope and tied his hands together. "What
the fuck are you doing?" The guard questioned.
"Even though she is not the King, she is able to make the King do things for her.
I'm sorry." The blonde spoke as two other men tied the guard's hands. "But, I'd rather
live." He took a sigh. "I just don't know what will happen to you though."
"You can't do this!" He yelled out. He faced Jaysa and yelled out. "You bitch. You
can't do this to me. I'll get off scot free just you watch." The man was taken away by the
three guards. Jaysa did not say a word to the man. She knew very well that she will get
her way and that man will pay for his crime.
Danzel burst into his sleeping chambers and stormed over to his wife's side of
the bed. A maid was finishing bandaging Jaysa's wounds on her head. Once she was
done, the maid bowed and quietly made her way out of the room. Danzel looked down
at his wife. She was not looking at her husband. He sat down next to her. That when he
saw finger marks on his wife's neck. He brushed way her hair from her neck to verify
that they were hand prints. His eyes went wide with shock and then anger rushed over
his face. He allowed her hair to fall back around Jaysa's shoulders and spoke.
"What exactly happened?" Jaysa stayed quiet. "Tell me." He spoke a bit louder.
"I saved a girl from that bastard." Jaysa said.
"What was he doing?" Danzel questioned.
"He was raping her." Jaysa replied.
"That's not what he said." Danzel spoke out.
"Whatever he said is a lie!" Jaysa yelled out. "And why did you question him
first?"
"I had to know why one of my guards were sitting in the dungeon." Danzel spoke.
His voice was getting louder. "He said that you attacked him."
"What?" She spoke just above a whisper.
"He said that he was yelling at a woman that was a thief and you just attacked
him."
"He lies." Jaysa yelled out. "If she was truly a thief and he was going to bring her
in for justice. That I would understand, but he was raping her when I found them."
"I'm sorry. But I don't think that he would do that. He's been a faithful guard for
several years." Danzel spoke.
"So you believe that man over me?" She spat.
"How can I believe you when you have no proof?"
"And that bastard does?" She yelled out. "You're really going to believe that dick
over me?" She yelled. Danzel stayed quiet. "Get out!" She yelled.
"But this is my roo-,"
"Get the hell out!" She yelled again. Danzel did not move. "Fine, if you don't get
out, I'll leave." She yelled. Her head was starting to pound hard when she stood up. She
felt light headed and dizzy and almost fell onto the floor. Danzel caught her before she
did. "Let go of me!" Jaysa pushed herself away from him.
"You need to lie down." He spoke.
"What I need is to get away from you!" Jaysa yelled again ignoring the fact that
her head was pounding because of her yelling.
"Lay down." Danzel yelled. "You hurt your head. So you need to lay-," Danzel
stopped in his tracks. Jaysa had been fighting with her husband and her head was
pounding so hard that she threw up on Danzel. Tears began to fall down Jaysa's face.
She could not ignore the pain anymore. Her head hurt so bad and she just got sick on
her husband. She closed her eyes waiting for him to smack her for what she just did,
but nothing came. She did hear his voice speak out in a gentle tone. "This was why I
told you to lay down." Jaysa opened her eyes as she watched Danzel stand up and
change out of his clothes. Jaysa felt so guilty for getting sick on him just because she
was so stubborn.
"I'm sorry." She spoke. He turned to look at his wife who was blushing as she
stared at his topless chest.
"Don't worry about it." He spoke. "Bu I want you to get some rest. We'll discuss
this at a later time." He spoke as he reached for a different shirt.
"Danzel." Jaysa spoke. Danzel turned to look at Jaysa as he put on the new shirt.
"Yes." He replied.
"Will that man stay in the cells until you find out if he is guilty of the charge or
not?" Danzel signed and walked over to Jaysa. He touched her head lightly and looked
into her eyes.
"I will keep him there, but just for now." He replied. "Now lay down." Jaysa
nodded and put her head down on the pillow. He leaned down and kissed her cheek.
He made sure she was comfortable before he left the room. Danzel wanted to believe
his wife with what she said, but the words from the guard made him doubt her.
