Chapter 93

Jaysa ran as far as her feet would allow her to go. She wasn't paying attention to where she was going and ended up by the servant's kitchen area. Jaysa wiped away the tears that had fallen down her face when she ran down the halls. The young Queen made her way towards the kitchen and again was met with the head maid.

"My Queen, what brings you here?" Jaysa spoke up.

"I just wanted to get away."

"Away? From who?" The maid asked. Her voice had no character in it. She almost sounded like a machine than a person.

"I don't want to talk about it." Jaysa spoke. "Is there any way to get something to drink and a snack?" The maid nodded. Jaysa followed the maid towards the kitchen.

"Please sit here." The maid spoke. Jaysa obeyed. Jaysa sat on the stool next to the table. It was at a good height. Her legs did not dangle from the height nor did the table fell as if it was too tall. She watched as the older woman scuffled around the kitchen. She brought over a glass that she poured water in and one of her favorite vegetable she later found out its name was fakod. The maid told that the man that found the vegetable sweet nectar could not think of a name. So he named it fakod. It was made of two names out together. Fake and good. Jaysa giggles about the name, but the vegetable was good no matter what horrid name it was called. Jaysa reached for the vegetable and suddenly stopped. The maid noticed her strange behavior and asked.

"Are you okay?" While the maid questioned the young Queen, Jaysa jumped from her stool and headed towards an empty bucket and began to puke in it. "My dear!" The maid freaked out ad ran over to Jaysa's side. She began to rub the young Queens back as Jaysa finished. "My dear, are you not feeling well?" The maid asked. Jaysa pulled her head out of the bucket.

"I'm sorry." Jaysa apologized. "That smell made me nauseous." She spoke.

"Don't apologize my dear." The maid continued to rub Jaysa's back. "Do you want me to get his majesty?"

"No!" Jaysa yelled startling the maid. "No." Jaysa spoke quieter. "Don't get him, and if can…" Jaysa paused for a brief moment. "Could you not tell his majesty about this?" The maid looked into Jaysa's eyes and then nodded. "I think I might go." Jaysa spoke.

"Yes, that might be best. If that smell made you sick, who knows what else will affect you." The maid spoke. She helped Jaysa up and out of the room. Jaysa began to fuss about the maid not telling. The maid assisted that she would keep it a secret.

Jaysa walked back to her chambers. She closed the door and leaned up against them. She couldn't believe that she had gotten sick. Jaysa had eaten that vegetable so many times before. So why would she suddenly get sick? The young Queen gasped. She had missed her menstrual cycle the last couple of months, but she believed that it was due to all the stress. Could she really be? Jaysa touched her flat stomach. Was there a child in her body? Jaysa slid down the door until she sat on the floor and pulled her knees up to her chest. She was so stupid. Having sex with the King so much, of course she would get pregnant. What thought really haunted her was, was she ready? Is she ready to raise a child with that man? Raise his child? The way things were between Danzel and herself. She didn't want to raise a child with him yet. However, if she was truly holding his child in her belly, then she would have to find a way. Right now, she wanted to hide the fact that she was pregnant from her husband until she finds out if there was child growing inside her.

Danzel sat in his royal chair looking down at Joseph. The man spoke of how they would be able to extend the Kingdom. Joseph heard the young King sigh.

"What is wrong your majesty?" Joseph asked.

"It's Jaysa." Danzel spoke.

"Is there something wrong with her?" Danzel stayed quiet then spoke.

"She's been acting strange for the past couple of days. She won't even have sex with me." Joseph blush a little and spoke in a serious voice.

"Do you think it might have to do with what you did to her mother's grave?"

"I'm not sure." Danzel spoke. He thought back to what happened four days ago.

Four days ago, Jaysa was with Madison in the library snacking on some bread and fruit. She had been getting hungry a lot more than usual and eating more than she usually does. The two girls sat quietly in their chairs when they heard a door open and a familiar voice spoke out.

"Jaysa." Danzel spoke out his wife's name. Jaysa did not respond. "Jaysa where are you?" He called out again.

"Are you going to answer him?" Madison questioned in a whisper.

"No," Jaysa mouthed back. She wanted nothing to do with that man right now. She could hear him calling her name.

"What if he finds you and is really mad?" Madison whispered again.

"He won't find us if you be quiet, Shh." Jaysa replied.

"What are you two whispering about?" Danzel asked. He found the two girls and smirked at them.

"What do you want?" Jaysa spat.

"Oh my dear wife, you hurt me." He spoke in a hurtful voice. She just glared at him because she knew he was being sarcastic.

"What'd you want." She repeated herself. Danzel looked down and shook his head. He looked back up at her and spoke.

"This is about your mother's grave." Jaysa's eyes sparkled.

"Did you fix the grave and punish the bastard that ruined it?"

"Even better." He spoke. "Come," his voice was full of excitement and believed that she would be cheered up when she learns what he had in store.
