Chapter 101

"Are you alright my Queen?" The man asked. He looked quiet young, more in the early twenties. Jaysa nodded her head.

"Yes, I'm fine. What happened?" Jaysa repeated.

"That man stole from one of the stands and is on the run. I hope they catch that guy." He replied. Jaysa nodded.

"Well, I do wish you well. But I need to head home now." Jaysa spoke. She looked at Madison and did a respectful tilt of her head to the man before making their way back.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Madison asked.

"Yes, I'm fine." She repeated for the third time. "I just want to make sure that we can get back before his highness realizes we are gone." Madison agreed. The two girls tried to make their way to the castle as fast as they could. Unfortunately, the news had already spread to his highness when they returned. Danzel was waiting for the two girls when they got to the castle.

"What the hell do you think you were doing?" Danzel yelled. They met up in the throne room where Jaysa was advised to go to when she walked through the castle doors. Jaysa stayed quiet until he stopped speaking.

"I told you that I was going to the market area to get some material-,"

"And I told you to stay here. I heard what happened from one of my men. Someone saw the entire thing. Are you trying to kill my kid?" Danzel yelled.

"What the hell do you mean?" Jaysa yelled at the comment.

"I swear that you do this just too irate me. You have changed a bit, but now it seems like your back to the way it was at the beginning." Danzel spoke out in anger.

"What the hell do you mean by that? Nothing has changed. If anything it has been you that changed. You are trying to be the good guy all the time and make me feel like I did something wrong. However, you never let me do what I want to do. I wanted to go out and get some fabrics. I can understand that you would be worried that I might have gotten hurt, but you have kept me in the castle not allowing me to leave for the past several months. I wanted to get out and do something."

"Why don't you just listen to a word that I say? You say you understand that I'm worried about you, but you ignore my demands. I want to keep you safe so my child is born safely. What if something happened to the child? Huh? How would you make it up to me if my child dies?" Danzel yelled.

"Why are you saying that it's your child? Before you said it was our child. So what the hell is with the change?" Jaysa yelled back.

"You are to make sure that my kids are safe and raised correctly. How are my children going to follow my demands if their own mother does not? Huh? I want you to think about that for a second." Danzel argued.

"Are you trying to say that I'm just to give birth to your children and raise them and that's it."

"Well, you are a woman! That is your job." Danzel spoke again.

"What the hell! I'm not a baby making machine. And you don't have to worry about the child. I know how to take care of my own body!" Jaysa yelled back.

"Well, apparently you don't. I'm going to have to assign someone to be with you at all times if you continue to act like this and neglect my orders." Danzel growled.

"So now you don't trust me? What kind of husband are you?"

"The kind that wants to protect you." He spoke.

"No, it's more like you want to put me in a cage and do whatever you want me to do, like a damn servant." Jaysa relied back in a hiss. "I'm not going to be treated that way." Jays turned on her heels.

"Where do you think you're going?" Danzel yelled.

"Away from you and your orders."

"Get back here! We are not done yet!" Danzel yelled but made no attempt to go after her. Once the doors to the throne room were shut, Danzel made his way towards the chair and plopped down. Why does he have to go through this again? He thought that it was all taken care of, but everything is going backwards instead of forwards. He took in a deep sigh. He will check up on her at a later time. Right now he wanted her to cool down.
