Chapter 104

Danzel was still at the table eating. He had noticed that Jaysa had been acting a lot weirder then she normally had been. Was it because had a child growing inside her stomach?

"It seems that the miss is not doing so well these days." A familiar voice was heard in the next to the King. Danzel turned his head to face Joseph. "She seems a bit down." The priest spoke to his majesty.

"I thought you said women's emotions go crazy when they are pregnant."

"Yes, but not like this. There is indeed something wrong with her majesty."

"Do you think so?" Danzel spoke.

"Your woman is just being a selfish. Women get that way. They demand all eyes on them." Martin interrupted the two men's conversation.

"That is not what's going on!" Joseph snapped back. Danzel looked at the priest in shock. He had never heard the priest talk like that before. Joseph had gotten quite attached to the young Queen. Joseph looked back and Danzel. "Even if she is unwilling, you should talk to her." Danzel looked at the priest. "She may not say it, but she wants to have someone near her." Danzel nodded his head. He wanted to protect her from whatever hurts her, even if she acted as if she did not want anything to do with him. Danzel stood up and soon made his way out of the room. Martin looked at the priest and glared at him.

"Don't get in my way," Martin growled out. Joseph glared at the man. He knew that that he was up to something, but did not know what.

"I will not have you hurt either one of those children. You have lost, deal with it!" Joseph made his way out of the room.

"Dammit!" Martin yelled. He slammed his fist onto the table. "That bitch is not following the plan." He grumbled to himself. "What makes it worse is that damn priest is starting to get in the way." Martin bit his thumb. "I will become King. Mark my words." His voice was low.

Danzel made his way towards the bedroom hoping that was here his love was at. He had made his way towards the two double doors and took in a deep breath. Slowly opening the doors, he made his way into the room. He could clearly see the lump on the bed and knew it was his wife. He made his way over to her until he was standing on her side of the bed. Danzel looked at the peaceful girl as she slept. He sat down next to her and began to stroke her hair. She was truly captivating to him. Danzel leaned down and gave the girl a small kiss on her temple. Jaysa's eyes squinted and slowly opened.

"Oh sorry, did I wake you?" Danzel quietly asked. Jaysa's eyes made their way over to Danzel's face. She looked at him for a moment before shutting her eyes.

"I'm fine. You don't have to worry." Jaysa spoke quietly. Danzel let out a sigh.

"I know you say you're fine, but I know you're not. I really hate it when you don't tell me when you are not feeling well, or upset about something." Danzel spoke. His voice had a hit of agitation in it.

"Why do you care?" Jaysa tried to sound angered by his presence, but came out in a calm voice instead. Danzel turned his back to Jaysa and sighed again.

"Why do you always ask that question?"

"Only thing that you care about is the child. You don't have to try to make me believe that you actually care for me when I know that you don't. I was just a tool to allow you to get the crown anyways." Jaysa spoke as a silent tear fell down her face. She was really good at not showing her weakness, but since her emotions were out of whack, there was nothing she could do about it.

"So you're saying that you know how I feel!" Danzel growled out in a loud voice.

"All men are the same." Jaysa spoke in an exhausted voice. The pain that she had before was starting to show its ugly face again. She tried her best to hold back the pain.

"I told you that I was different." Danzel's voice began to rise in anger.

"You keep saying that, but I have yet to see the difference." She didn't want to have this conversation right now. The pain started to disappear again. Jaysa heard a growl come from behind her. Danzel turned half of his body around to grab Jaysa's shoulders forcing her to face him.

"I love you!" He yelled. "That's what makes the difference." Jaysa's eyes were wide in shock. She looked into his eyes that were burning with passion. She switched her eyes away from his and spoke,

"You have been reading my drama stories again."

"This is not a joke!" Danzel yelled again. "I told you since I was little that I wanted you. I wanted to make you mine. I didn't care if I was going to be King, well I did, but I wanted you by my side. Now I have you. We are expecting a child. You are not some whore that I want to use as a baby making machine. I want a wonderful wife with a wonderful family. I want us to be a family." Danzel's voice started to soften as he saw her eyes switch back to meet his.

"You tell me this, but I don't know what to believe. I just had been through so much. I even hear from the guards that I'm here as your fuck toy and nothing more."

"And I have killed and punished those guards for their actions." Danzel yelled as he cut Jaysa off. "I keep saying that you are mine. I want only you and you push me away each time I try to get closer to you. I don't like it. I want to be with you. I want you to want me. That's all I want. If I wanted a fuck toy, then I could get one with no problem. But I don't. I want you and only you!" Jaysa glanced up at Danzel. The stuff that he was staying she could tell was coming from his heart. He truly cared for her. He wanted this to work.
