Chapter 105

She was the reason that they were not able to get any closer. She was the one pushing him away. Was she the one that was making this relationship harder on them both? Everything that they have gone through, she began to think back about the fights that they have had. She was just so stubborn. She thought that she had hated her life because of this man. However, it was this man that had been trying to tell her that she was the woman he loved. When he moved her mother's grave, it was because of what those men have done to her precious grave. Every selfish request that she had asked this man to do, he had done it. She looked down at the sheets. If she wanted this to work, she needed to open herself to the man that sat in front of her. Jaysa took in a deep breath and slowly let it out.

"Danzel." Jaysa spoke. "There is something I want to tell you." Danzel stayed in the same spot watching the woman in front of him.

"What is it?" He asked. Jaysa was silent for a moment before speaking.

"Your uncle gave me some poison to take."

"What!" Danzel jumped off the bed. He was fully facing Jaysa. "What the hell do you mean he gave you poison?" Jaysa stayed mute for a moment.

"He said that it would kill the child because I was in doubt about what I really wanted to do."

"What do you mean?" Jaysa slowly sat up on the bed and turned to face Danzel.

"Because I wasn't sure whether I wanted to have this baby, your baby." She slowly spoke out each word. Emotional pain was attached on every word that she said. She knew that she could feel the guilt to even have the thought about killing the child. She heard another loud and displeased growl come from the man.

"Are you saying that you detest me that much?" He had his hands balled in a fist which were shaking furiously.

"I couldn't do it though." Jaysa finally spoke up. His fists loosed their grip. She turned her head away from the man.

"You...you didn't take it?" Jaysa shook her head. She touched her stomach and looked up at Danzel.

"Because it is yours."

"I don't understand." Danzel looked away from Jaysa. His voice shook a bit as he spoke. "You want to kill the child because it's mine, but yet, you want to keep it because it's mine. What the hell is wrong with you?" Danzel turned to face Jaysa again. His voice was rising again with anger. He doesn't understand what is going through his woman's head.

"I can understand why you are angry, But it just..."

"What!" Danzel yelled.

"I don't know if I'm supposed to be happy or miserable!" She yelled back.

"What?" Danzel could barely hear his own words escape from his mouth.

"I don't know what to believe. Joseph is nice, you can sometimes be nice, and Martin is clearly showing hatred towards me. But I just don't know where I actually fit in. I'm I supposed to be the quiet Queen that obeys her husband or she's dead? Or can I be myself and fall in love with my husband and live happily ever after like they do in the fairy tales?" Jaysa began to sob. "I just don't know what to do. I don't...I don't kn-,"

Before Jaysa could finish her words, she felt strong arms embrace her and holding her close to the heat that came with the body that held her close.

"I want you to be happy. I don't want you to think that you are something useless. I want you to say what's on your mind. I want you to be outgoing like you were before." Danzel pulled away from Jaysa to look her in the face. He wiped her tears as he spoke. "I want you to be happy. I want you to be yourself. I don't want you to feel miserable. If you feel that way, tell me. I will do anything to make sure you are happy. I know that we fight, but those fights have love in them, even if it doesn't seem like they do. I know I have done many things for you because you asked. Many have disliked that." Danzel's eyes turned away from Jaysa as he spoke the last sentence. His eyes returned to face Jaysa again. "I don't care what other people are saying. I want you to just believe in me only."

Danzel reached for Jaysa's hand to embrace his own. He pulled her a bit closer to him. Danzel slowly pulled Jaysa into a small kiss. Jaysa kissed him back. The kiss was short and sweet, but soon turned deep. Danzel gently pushed Jaysa on the bed and the man was on top of her. His hands roamed her body. He knew to be gentle when he touched her. He massaged her breasts as his tongue played with hers. Danzel pushed the sheets way from Jaysa exposing what was hidden underneath. The man smirked at the scene in front of him. Even though she had a belly on her, the night gown she wore made her sexy. He reached for the helm of the gown and slowly slid it up her body exposing her long legs. "You are beautiful." He spoke.
