Chapter 116

"You seem to be in a wonderful mood." Joseph spoke up. Danzel looked at Joseph. "Things look like they are going good with you and the young miss." His grin couldn't get any bigger.

"Very." He spoke again. The priest knew that the grin on his face was not about the peace, but maybe something more intimate. Joseph really hoped that the two would be out of the little rut that they were going though. It almost seemed that they would never be able to move one from the area that they were at. So to see the man have that facial feature on his face, even if it could freak out anyone with that grin, he was happy.

"So do you think you and the miss will maybe try for another child?" Danzel's grin went away for a moment. Joseph mentally slapped himself in the head. This was still a tough subject to talk about.

"We have decided, if we end up pregnant again. I will make sure that she is always in a stress free area, so that way, she will give birth to a healthy child with no issues."

"Well, that's good to hear. It has been several months since that tragic time. So I was hoping and praying that everything would work out for you guys." The men were quiet for a moment before someone finally spoke up.

"So, I heard that this area was good to start building on. What we can do is clear this area out, and have some workers make this area flat so that way we can either build small shops or make homes." Danzel looked at the area that Joseph was looking at agreed with the man. The men spoke what different area's that they can move around or change. The men were in deep conversation until a guard come rushing inside.

"Your Majesty! We have an issue!"

"What is going on?" Danzel questioned the panic guard that was still trying to catch his breath. He had ran all the way over and Danzel wanted to know what the problem was.

"There…There is a man that had wondered into the Kingdom. He was causing trouble. We don't know where he had come from. He wouldn't talk to any of the guards when they asked. So when they tried to restrain him, he began to fight against them. It took seven of our man to jump him so we could tie his hands."

"Where is this man right now?" Danzel asked.

"We had several men take him to the dungeon."

"Okay! I will be right there." Danzel spoke back at the guard. He turned to look at Joseph. "I'm sorry."

"It's no problem." Joseph started to speak. "Duty calls." Danzel nodded. They were in such a deep conversation that he was kind of upset that this problem is arising now of all times. Danzel followed the man out of the room. Joseph just watched the two men exit. He looked back down at the map. He was proud that Danzel was able to become a King. He knew the late majesty would accept him as King in his place. However, many didn't believe that. One man popped into his mind. Since Danzel had married Jaysa, that man had tried to sabotage their relationship. Jaysa had to experience something painful so she would hate the King. He was unsure if they would ever be able to become a couple, let alone, try to build a family.

Nevertheless, they were able to overcome that hurdle, and were able to become pregnant with the first child. Still, that man didn't stop there. He made sure that their happiness wouldn't last making them lose their child. Anger filled the man's body. He wanted to protect both the King and Queen, and watch them as they grow in happiness. Just he didn't know how he could keep them safe. He had failed so many times on protecting Jaysa. Joseph couldn't help but beat himself over it. How would he be able to make sure that they stay safe? Also, what does that man have up his sleeve to try to ruin the young ones' love? The man found a chair and walked over to it. He could only agonize over what he couldn't do.

Danzel followed the guard down the familiar stairs that lead to cells. He was informed a bit of the man and what to be aware of. Danzel stopped in front of the cell. He was shocked at what he was looking at. He wasn't sure if he was looking at a man or an animal. The man's hair was grown long and stopped just above his chest. He had a beard that was just as long. His clothes were old and torn. Without having to take a step closer, he knew that man was filthy. He could smell it. He looked worse than Jaysa when he first met her. Even though the man smelled and was so unkempt with his look. Danzel could tell that the man had been eating somewhat well. Even though he was a bit pale and his skin looked dry, he still had some muscles that popped under the skin. So he could tell why it may have been hard to hold down this man. Danzel found that he was staring at the man, and what brought him back was the guard moving to his side. The King straightened his already straight posture and spoke in a deep low voice.

"What is your name?" The only sound that was heard was the shackles that the man's hands were cuffed to against the wall. "Do you not speak our language?" Danzel asked. There was still no answer. "Even if you don't understand me, say something!" Danzel demanded. He was starting to get irritated over the silent treatment he was getting.

"Sire," the guard next to him spoke. Danzel looked at the man. "He hasn't said a word since we brought him in here."

"Does this animal not know how to form words?" Danzel spat. He looked back at the man. "Are you an enemy? Are you a wonderer that just got lost? Answer me damn it!" Danzel yelled. The man still didn't speak a word. "Screw this." Danzel spoke. He looked at the man next to him. "If the man speaks, let me know right away. I want to know what this man is doing here." The guard nodded.

"Yes Sire." Danzel took one more look at the man and clunked his tongue. Danzel then made his way of the dungeon.
