Chapter 126

"I understand where you are coming from, but what if he was a spy?"

"So what if he was."

"Many reasons!" Danzel yelled.

"Then do your research like Joseph did. If you find that he's a suspicious person, then take caution." Danzel growled.

"You don't understand what the real world is about. You could have died."

"Yes, I could have died," Jaysa started. "With his hands shackled to a wall that wouldn't even allow him to scratch his head let alone touch me." Danzel was getting nowhere with this woman of his. She did not understand the danger that she could have been in if that man was after their lives. He would think she would understand it now with everything his uncle has tried to do to her. He knew that if he kept pressing the issue that they would just end up in a fruitless fight that would never end. Danzel shook his head. Joseph could tell the King was irritated because he knew that Jaysa didn't realize the real danger she could have been in.

"My Queen," Jaysa looked at the priest. "I would listen to his majesty. I understand what you're saying about listening to peoples' reasons before jumping to conclusions. But his highness really is worried about you." She glanced at her husband. When their eyes met, he moved them away and a redness rose on his face. She looked back that the older man. She understood just then what the priest was talking about. Jaysa never really thought about it, but whenever they would get into fights, it was more out of Danzel's worry for her. He wants to keep her safe. Jaysa looked back at her husband who was looking down at the floor. She walked over to him and gave him a small kiss on his cheek. Danzel's head shot up and looked at his wife.

"I'm sorry." She looked away from his eyes. "I know that you said all that because you are worried. I am still getting used to how you show your feelings." She grabbed his arm with both of her hands and looked up at the man. "Can you forgive me?" Her eyes sparkled in forgiveness. Danzel looked away and used his other hand to scratch his head. He felt embarrassed by the way Jaysa was acting. He also was not used to this as well. They have been working on their relationship, but there were still parts that would embarrass each other because of what the other had done.

"I will forgive you as long as you don't do that again. Next time we will talk about what we should do if there is another incident like this one okay." He looked down at her and saw a smile on her face. They were able to get over a fight without it getting out of control. This was nice. The priest smiled. He was used to fights lasting days, but this one lasted less than ten minutes. He knew they were growing as a couple and that they would keep growing. Jaysa held onto her husband arm and pulled herself away from him. She looked at him and asked,

"So when can we let that man out. He needs a bath, water and food."

"That's all that man is going to get. After that, he will continue his journey, you got that?" Jaysa nodded.

A man was speed walking down the hallway to his destination. He had stopped in front of a door. He knocked on it waiting for an answer.

"You may enter." A male voice was heard from inside the room. The man grabbed the handle and opened the door stepping inside; he was met with an older man's eyes. He looked at Martin. Martin looked at the man and then back to his paper work.

"What business do you have here?" Martin looked at Lieutenant Franken. I have some interesting news that I thought that you would like. Martin looked back up at the man with a smirk on his face.

"Is it something that has to do with my nephew?" The man nodded. Martin placed his elbows on the desk. He intertwined his fingers together and laid his chin on them. He was giving the man full attention. "I would like to hear what you have for me."

"Well Sire, you do remember that man that the guards on the ground have picked up." Martin nodded in response. "Well it seems that the man had found a fancy to our young Queen." Martin leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms.

"So you want to use him to try to get the couple to break up."

"I was thinking that would be a good chance. We can't let this slide." Martin intertwined his fingers again and brought them up to his face, only thing that could be seen was the top of his nose and the eyes that pierced the man.

"You have come with some great ideas. But how will you think that this one would work?" He stood up still looking at the man. "You had said by using that man to frame the Queen of lying to the King about being pure was splendid. I didn't see any flaws in it, well that was until he fucked her. Danzel then knew that tramp was not a tramp after all."

"I really thought that would have worked." Franken spoke. His voice not wavering at all while the older man slowly started to trail his way over to him.

"The other one was to give her some poison. She was so confused and didn't know what she really wanted. I even put in those thoughts that she had tried to forget and bring them back to surface. So I was so sure that she would have taken it. However, it seemed that she stilled had some faith for the love that had started to bloom in the year that she had been here." Martin stopped in front of the man. He was inches taller than Martin but he knew that the guard wouldn't dare to lay a hand on him. "Danzel has fallen hard for the whore, and he won't believe in anything that we try to say. I believe that with the two other plans that we have come up with had made them grow closer. So how do you think this plan will be more effective than the ones you have come up with before?" Martin asked the taller man. His voice was low and almost growled when he spoke.

"We just have to get that woman to fall for the man." Franken answered Martin not batting an eye.

"And how are we going to do that. She had fallen for Danzel, and I know my nephew had fallen for her. He is starting to put faith in her. I believe if we have the man try to make a move on Jaysa that Danzel would just come out and kill that man. I'm afraid it will again, bring them closer."

"There is no way we would know unless we try, don't you think?" Martin stared at the man. He believed the man. He has never done him wrong. He nodded and turned to make his way back to his chair. Sitting down, Martin again looked at the guard and asked him.

"So how are you going to get this plan started?" Franken grinned.
