Jaysa couldn't help but laugh at Madison. She was making several poses that just cracked up the young woman. It was a bright colored dress. It had red and yellow flowers all over the dress. The dress was sleeveless except the large sleeve that just stopped at the end of her shoulders. The dress stopped below her knees and had a large ribbon that was tied around her waist. There was some lace that Madison had happily sewed at the bottom of the dress making it a bit longer. Her face just glimmered in delight due to the fact that this was first dress that she made completely on her own without Jaysa's help.
"I can see that you love the dresses that you have made." Madison did the same poses with the winter dress as well. Jaysa could tell that Madison was excited to not only wear them, but show them both off.
"Oh boy, I do!" Madison spoke to Jaysa with excitement. "I didn't know that I could make something like this." The young girl spun around making the dress go up a bit.
"I think that even Danzel would be quite surprised that you were able to make something like this."
"Do you think so?" Madison ran up to Jaysa. Her fists were closed close by her chest.
"You have come pretty far. So I know that he would be excited for you as well."
Jaysa looked at both the dresses. They were both very basic patterns that could be made easily. She knew now that the girl was ready for more advanced patterns. "I can show you how to make some other types of dresses. So that they are not all the same design."
"Can you teach me how to make something like the wedding dress that you wore on your wedding." Madison asked. Jaysa looked at the girl a bit confused.
"You saw that dress?" Jaysa questioned in confusion. Madison nodded.
"I got a glance when you were taken from the dressing room to the church." Madison had a soft smile on her face. "You were really beautiful." Jaysa remembered that day. It's been a year. She really couldn't believe that she had been with Danzel for a year. Thinking back. She, no, they have been through so much.
"I would say. If you are trying to make a dress like that. I can defiantly teach you. But we need to do little at a time." Madison frowned. "Don't worry. The way you're going. You'll get there really fast." Madison smiled at Jaysa.
"Can you teach me right now?" Madison questioned. Jaysa couldn't help but giggle at the young girl.
"You are sure anxious to learn the new techniques huh." She was just rewarded with a smile. Jaysa knew the girl wanted to try something new. She was always wanted to start as soon as possible. "I miss this." Jaysa spoke quietly to herself.
"What was that?" Madison asked.
"Oh, nothing." Jaysa replied with a smile. "Now what is it that you are interested in learning? I can see if we can do that."
"Ok, okay." Jaysa watch Madison run off to get a book for reference. She really missed this.
It had been a couple of weeks since Levi left. Everything had gone back to normal. Jaysa and Madison spent most of their time together in the library. Jaysa teaching her how to overlap material to make different patterns or designs with it. Madison would struggle when trying to lay the fabric on top of each other. She would get it backwards more times than she would get it correctly. It took her several tries. Soon she was able to get the fabric to work her way. Due to accomplishing it finally. Jaysa began to make more dresses. She had even moved to a new technique that was new even to Jaysa. The two had gone out to the market to get more material and was introduced something new item that she had been wanting to try. It was buttons. Jaysa had never used buttons in any of her clothes. Living as a peasant. All her clothes were slip overdresses. When she lived in the castle was the first time she wore something with a zipper. When Jaysa was teaching Madison how to make the dresses with the zipper. She had to do her own research on how to sew it in the dress. Madison enjoyed the new experience with her as they both figured out how to get it right. Now it was time to use buttons. Jaysa had bought several just in case of mistakes that would be made. The two worked several hours on the dresses trying to get the hang of it.
At night. Jaysa and Danzel would spend the time in each other's arms. The two were still trying for a child. Danzel had told Jaysa that if they wanted to have another child. They would have to do it each day. She was told it would give them a higher change of getting pregnant faster. Jaysa raised an eyebrow at that. Not really believing in that. She didn't know if it was because Danzel was really wanting to have a child now. Or if it was just an excuse to have sex with her every night. She didn't care either way. She got pleasure form the nights they laid with each other. Also, if a child would be created during that time. It would bring them both joy.
Martin also stayed low. He never tried to interrupt the couple, nor bring in any types of conflicts. Danzel was not going to stop keeping his eye on the man. Not after everything that had happened. Joseph had kept his eye on both Martin and Lieutenant. Neither doing anything out of the norm. He also believed that the two were staying quiet trying not to stir up anything. Because of this, everything was nice and peaceful. It was almost everything that happened was all a dream. However, the peace that everyone was feeling didn't last too long.
