Chaper 4

Changes I made in earlier chapters so you don't have to go and re-read them:

I changed the name Himiko for Lilith.

I changed Salem's quirk a bit as I wanted the spider mother demon in mha and not a random someone with spider powers in mha.

She can create spider webs. The only drawback is that she becomes more and more hungry and most of the time she can't get rid of this hunger only when she goes to sleep does it vanish.

Salem opened her eyes. The ceiling she look at was familiar, she still remembered that she looked at a similar ceiling when she was born so she guessed that she was in a hospital. It was dark outside but Salem could see the first signs of the sun showing.

She quickly looked down as she remembered the wounds she had from falling down the mountainside and trying to break her falls with her strings.

What she saw left her with eyes wide open. She saw absolutely nothing wrong. As if nothing ever happened. She knew of no healing Quirk which lets nearly served limbs reattach without any scar or other evidence of the injuries.

And she was not in the best hospital out there, as nobody cared about her except her dad and her mother was probably somewhere drinking or doing drugs.

"Only this patient and I can finally end this shift and go home." A male voice came from the door which opened at the same time the man spoke.

The door opened fully and Salem noticed how his earlobes seemed to extend and form a Stethoscope.

"Oh, you are awake. Let me get a doctor real quick." And as suddenly as he made his entry he was gone.

Salem returned to find out what happened to her limbs. She still remembers eating the man which seemed to be a contracted killer.

'His flesh was so delicious and the blood gave it some nice flavor.' Salem thought to herself. She also noticed how she didn't feel the slightest hunger, even though she did use her Quirk so much yesterday.

When she used her Quirk to the limit she could be hungry for days. But now she was completely fine after just some hours as she noticed that it was the next morning so not even a day has passed at least that's what the calendar that hung on the wall was telling her. Her thoughts were stopped by a "Hey, you. You are finally awake." Looking to the door Salem saw a man in his 40s.

"We couldn't reach your mom, so could you tell me if you have an idea who to call?" Salem was still confused and asked, "Where am I." "You are in the Hospital, young Girl. Yesterday evening your vehicle and a truck crashed near ****** Mountain."

Greatly disturbed by the smell of alcohol coming from the disinfectant used to clean the hospital she quickly told the doctor her aunt's number. Salem was sure that her mother was lying somewhere completely drunk and full of all kinds of drugs.

After the doctor left to call her aunt she decided to go on the roof. The smell of alcohol was too much for her, this was new for Salem as she was never affected by smells, and especially alcohol should be no problem because of her mother.

Salem looked around after opening the door to the roof and after spotting no one she went to the fence lining the side of the building and gazed down at the city. Looking down at the city and all the traffic and people walking on the sidewalks coming or going to work made her feel like she was in a time bubble looking at the time passing and as she looked at the hectic the streets her mind came up with thoughts once more that are not usually thought by a 7-Year-old.

Salem wondered what will happen to her now. Her dad died her mother has probably forgotten that she existed and her aunt already had Lilith to care about.

Suddenly Salem was ripped out of her thoughts by huge pain coming from her forehead. She fell screaming because of the pain but as soon as she dropped the pain was gone. When she looked around she saw absolutely nothing that could have hurt her. Still wondering what that was she tried to pull herself up on the fence the same pain came back but this time it was in her hand. She quickly pulled her hand back. She now had an idea of what hurt her, it was sunlight. But to make sure, she held a finger in the sun rays of the rising sun. Her theory was right, as soon as the sun touched her finger it began to hurt and she quickly pulled back.

Salem wondered why she felt pain when touching the sun, she imagined it felt like someone put a nail where the sun hits her and then dropped a heavy stone on it crushing the part bathed in sunlight.

The door to the roof suddenly opened and the doctor came running out of it, stopping as soon as he saw Salem. "You stupid girl just because you are healed doesn't mean you can walk away freely after being injured that much," he walked up to her and picked her up thinking that she can't stand on her own.

"We contacted your aunt. She said that you can live with her for now as your mother is nowhere to be found after the news of the car crash was released," he told her while walking back to her room. "Anyway go to sleep now she will come later today. I will wake you up."

Salem didn't talk the whole time. She thought about the pain from touching the sunlight. As soon as the doctor left her room relocating her bed so the sunlight will not touch her when the sun rises and went to sleep.
