CHAPTER 90

Karina

Somehow by some godly intervention, I made it through the most uncomfortable dinner in my life and even back to my room without incident.

I'd even fallen asleep without any of the pain I was worried would still be affecting me after the little obstacle course I'd been forced to run.

"You're kinda of an embarrassment. I mean, I know you can't shift or anything, but you should have still trained."

My eyes flew open and I looked around the room. Was Damon in here insulting me? Or maybe Magnus, he was likely to be that kind of person. There was no one around me at all, my door was still locked and it was fairly dark outside.

I looked around again but still nothing. "Who?"

"Seriously?" whoever it was huffed. "Come on, I know you slept a lot in school, but this isn't that complicated. Who else would be talking in your head?"
