  “My favorite!” She breathes in.

  Heavy steps made them both turned around. Norman, though sweaty and with mud on his clothes, is as happy as always as he gets in. She felt nothing but proudness to him. The moment he said that he can’t just abandon farming, that is when she realized that it might be a really tough job, but never did he find it hard. It is not just a mere job for him—it is a hobby. His hobby. No wonder why he still managed to smile whenever he comes home.

  “How is farming today, dad?” she asked right away.

  The man sat down, took off his hat and in an excited expression, he showed her a cut on his hand. Both her and Julia wonder what did he do again to hurt himself.

  “This is nothing. I just got it from sharp-edged weed.”

  She nodded and quickly looked away. That is just a two inches wound, but it looks like longer for her.

  “By the way, I have something for you. I know it will look good on your table in your office,” he then said.
