EMPTIED MEMORY

　　The place isn’t that so wild and not so far away from the residential area. That is what she had noticed right away as they set foot in the place where Norman found the badge. She walked a little more inside the forest, in the fen part. But even though there are grasses, vines and trees everywhere, there is no trace that someone had passed through there.


　　“Here, there is where I saw it,” her dad told and stepped on the ground.


　　Her forehead furrowed as she looked around. It is odd that there are no sounds that can be heard in the place.


　　“I am certain.” Norman turned around and took a few steps.


　　“Yeah, I am sure. I counted my steps that day. You know, I easily get lost, so I had to do that just in case I had a hard time going back.”
