Chapter 3

We have all been sitting and talking to each other and laughing until I stand up "I have to go you guys I have a ton of homework and its getting kind of late out so I think I'll just head out".

" You guys I think I'll leave with her" Christian says while standing up also . " Bro, you leaving already " Zario says "Umm where do you think you are going with her ,you are my boyfriend ,so you can't go with her " Rachel says in a high pitched voice standing up talking to Christian .

" Rachel, babe I get that it that you don't want me to leave with her right now but you and I aren’t dating so stop acting like a jealous bitch .I'll text you later". he says leaving her standing in shock and embarrassment.

He leads me out to his car and I stand there waiting for him to unlock his car .He opens the door get in ,his car which is surprisingly very clean and everything looks new and shiny.

He gets in the driver 's seat and starts the car up ,we sit in comfortable silence until he starts " Why were you staring at me back there" he asks " I wasn't staring at you, I was simply minding my business when you walked over at my table and decided to invite me to sit with your friends” .

“ You can't lie to me ,I saw it heck everyone saw it so you can’t get out of this one” he says lifting his eyebrows ,giving me smirk .

" What's wrong , swallowed your tongue don't have anything to say now that I actually caught you In your lie” he asks me still having that smirk that I so badly want to wipe of his face . "Actually that's not what happened you see I was just minding my business enjoying my peace and I so happened to see you and your friends there .Speaking of which what was that back there it seemed pretty rough why would you just leave your girlfriend like that ?”.

Sweetheart is that your attempt at trying to change the subject because you are uncomfortable with the idea of me knowing that , you like me because if it is ,I know you like me , but I'll let it slide only this time though only because you are cute . “No you are blowing this way out of proportion , first of all I do not like you ,you are nothing but a jerk and I don’t like guys who are jerks for you to even suggest, something like is absurd .And second all of I am not cute don't call me that " I say looking away from him and crossing my arms on my chest. I hear him mumble the words " you saying you aren’t cute makes you even cuter” under his breath but I decide to ignore it . “Here we are” he says as he makes a stop by the campus gate . “Thanks for the ride” I say while opening the door and getting out of the car . “Oh no problem it was nothing” he says reaching to take his phone .

“ Can I get your number, in case I want to reach out and ask you about school work and stuff” he says holding out his phone to me . " You and school work ? doesn't seem to fit in the same sentence”. I laugh a little bit

“I don't like the fact that you are judging me right now just because I look and act a certain way doesn't mean I don't do school work” .

“ OK ,I'm sorry you can hand it over” he gives me the phone and I input my number and give it back to him” .

“ So yeah now that's settled ,I will see you on Friday at the party I am throwing, you are coming right “?.

“Umm actually.....I don't think I will make it ,I have such a busy schedule right now and with some of the tests coming up I just don't think I have the time so I don't know if I can make it ”.

“Oh come on Kim ,you don't want to miss this party it's going to be fun and you need to take a breaks so come I promise you won't be disappointed” I think about it for a while and agree .

Sure ,I'll come” I say and he smirks . “So I'll pick you up on Friday, at seven pm or do you have someone who can take you”?

“I think you can pick me up” I say .

“ So see you then”.

“Ya see you then” I reply and he waves and he drives off into the darkened sky . I stand there for a while and then start to walk back to me and Daisy's dorm room. I stand there outside and knock on the door for a while ,but to my surprise there is no reply thinking that she is inside but apparently not .I then take my keys and open the door and enter and I don't find her in the room .This is very unlike her ,I usually find her sitting on her

bed doing homework or just lounging around but she now she is nowhere to be found ,she must be really mad or maybe she’s going through something . I look around and see that the room looks very untidy, everything is everywhere. The only clean and neat side is mine .

I go onto my bed and my take my shoes off and put my bag down and change into something more comfortable .I pick out a pair of shorts and a vest. I take my laptop and open my Netflix account and look for something to watch ,I stumble on a series and begin to watch. As I am watching I get a beep from my phone hoping it is Daisy .I grab my phone from the nightstand besides me. I swipe it and input the lock with shaky hands due to the fact that she replied.
