Talk.

"Is Oreo your successor?"

Hikari, Orion's 'elder sister' asked aloud. She had her hands in her white lab coat, seemingly being a comfortable position for her. "Yeah, he is. I think I chose quite nicely, don't you agree?" Cathleen answered as they watched the screen broadcasting multiple shots of the forest.

On one part of the screen, you could see Orion staring lecherous eyes at someone's behind. "Yep, you uhm...sure did..." Cathleen shook her head and said with her finger raised high, "He's a growing boy! Surely you know that around this time, boys his age start acting a little.."

She shook her head, deciding to switch over to a new topic to speak of. "So, how did he react, knowing he'll be your successor? Did he seem...nervous about it? Tense maybe?" Cathleen shook her head and responded by saying,

"Not at all. I'm sure you already caught onto it, but the kid doesn't really have such states of emotion. Well, it's rare to see I mean. I was actually told by Ari that he mentioned wanting to come up under my wing. Knowing that, I'm sure he's already mentally prepared for whatever challenges that may lay ahead.."

"Heh, Oreo and I really need to catch up. I knew him far longer than everyone on this island, and yet, I know the least about him.." She sighed while putting her head down. "Don't worry about it. You and him will be best buds in a matter of a seconds with the way his personality is. Also, your looks, Hikari... He won't be able to take his eyes off of you, y'know.."

Hikari stared up at the screen and at Orion's face. 'She's right. I know we'll get along, but I still feel bad for....,you know, staying out of touch with him after all this time. But alas, I shouldn't linger on this matter for too long. He won't so why should I? It'll only make me sad anyways..'

"Hey, uhm, listen to me real quick, Cathleen..." Cathleen looked over at her with a curious look. "Take good care of him, okay? He's a kindhearted boy at heart, so please, try not to do anything to take that away. From him and from us..."

After all, what made a hero was not only their strength, but their heart as well.

"Don't ever do anything to take that away, huh..?" She held her hips and looked back up at the monitor, showcasing Orion approaching someone. "I honestly don't think I could actually..." She paused a moment before continuing.

"Orion...likes to put smiles on peoples faces. That I could never change. I'm going to put him through hellish training because it builds character, but I promise you that I won't put false pretenses in his head.

In fact, if I see any sign of him changing for the worse, I'll cease his training until he starts becoming himself again. Though I feel like something like that won't happen..."

Like she said before, Cathleen thought of Orion as one of the last few genuine heroes in the world. He showed all aspects of what it took to be one, wether it was in power or in heart.

Deep down in his core, he was a protector and that's already been seen by a multitude of people.

"Good. We don't...want another...mistake.." Cathleen nodded as Hikari trailed off her sentence, already knowing what she had meant. 'Oreo,..being number one is a huge challenge that comes with many difficulties. I know your strong, yes, but some things dont require just strength, but a strong mentality to endure as well. That... I don't really know...if your capable..'

She didn't know his character all to well, and because he was a kid, had only influenced her even more to think that way. 'I hope you can, I really do. Because if you can't, then I'm afraid you won't be able to survive a world such as this...'

She took her right hand out of her pocket and placed it over her heart. 'This world is nothing but evil. I...can't stop you from accomplishing your dream, but the least I can do...is support it...'

....

"Ah, there you are.." Sitting crisscrossed on a rock in the middle of the river was a boy around Orion's age. He had black hair, black eyes and a gloomy look. He was touching something on his left arm, but upon hearing Orion's voice from the side, had stopped and looked over.

"Orion Jewels. You really had nothing better to do, but follow me, huh?"

"Aren't you sorta out of your element here? I mean, water and technology really doesn't mix well together..."

Zach, Orion could guess who he was by now, stood up with a scoff. "As long as their technology around, I'm never really 'out of my element'..."

Zach pressed a button on the built in tablet on his arm which caused a low pitch sound. Just then, a flare emerged from the backpack he was wearing, shooting high up into the sky. Orion watched as it went up to the clouds and then blew up into multiple sparks.

'Bro finna call an airdrop, ain't he?' And much to almost no surprise, a crate with a parachute attached to it was soon floating down from the heavens. "While we wait on that, can I ask how you got that thing in your arm? Were you born with it or something?"

Zach ignored him and silence fell upon the area as the airdropped landed in front of him. "I'd turn back and go after the other students if I were you. Last warning I'm going giving you.."

He placed his thumb on a button on top of the crate, causing the the sides to go down like a window in a car and the parachute detaching and floating away in the wind.

What was reavled had been multiple pieces of a suit of black armor with blue tubes going throughout it lying on the ground. Since it was in different parts, it was hard to tell what it'd look like put together, but one could guess that it'd be...,well, a suit of armor.

"If you're telling me to back down, then forget it. Go ahead and suit up bro. I'll wait.." Orion sat down and waited. His words and actions confused Zach for a moment, but he simply cackled and started putting on the pieces of armor.

'The suits resembles Iron mans mark 6th suit. The one with the triangle shaped reacter. But with Zach's choice of color however, it looks like a fusion between Iron mans suit and Zoom, the speedsters, suit..' Orion then snapped and thought, 'No wait, Savitar would be a way better description of bros suit. Yeah..'

Zach's black metallic right arm held a black mask and was then placed upon his face. The eye holes glowed blue as the suit of armor began levitating very slowly using propulsions from his feet.

"I bet you regret letting me suit up now, don't you?" Zach's voice sorta sounded robotic but still mostly human.

"Nope.." Orion said getting up and massaging his neck. "I don't regret it at all. This...should be fun, I think.." On the back of Zach's shoulders, plates of armor opened up to reveal multiple poles. Those poles seeped out fire as water balls and rocks started floating up around Zach.

The fire seeping out the pipes exploded into a burst of scorching heat like a chemical explosion. Clouds of burning dust went up behind him as he would move his body forward and blitz at Orion. The water would part in front, creating a perfect path for him.

Rocks, dirt and all the like would be blown away as he broke sound breaking speeds. Orion stood there, watching as Zach's body would slowly begin curling, his left leg sticking out while his right would would fold.

'Oh, yeah, he's fast alright. I'd describe him as being faster than sound, but that'd be nothing since Miya's bullets are faster. However, there's a single factor putting his speeds above hers..'

Orion bent backwards as the leg from Zach would slowly pass over him and then his entire body, shooting past Orion and completely missing. Orion's eyes were trailing on a blue static effect coming off his body.

'Lightning. He's amped...by lighting. Not all the time, but at times where he gets close to me. Before reaching my body just now, his speed exponentially got faster. A millisecond slower and my head would've been gone..'

Shoving his right arm out and blasting off a concentrated explosion, Zach was able to push himself back in Orion's direction. He would then use his left arm and fire off a blast of concentrated explosions, going back and forth between his right and left until he imitated a cyclone.

Already turned around, Orion stood there and watched, a leg extending out meanting to hit Orion, but was dodged since he ducked under it. Seeing that he had missed, he thought nothing much of it, using the poles on his back shoulders and blasting himself off to the side.

'Does bro want me dead? Everyone is so cruel~...' Orion sighed and bent back upwards. Zach danced around the area for a bit, amassing speed and momentum. He then reached a point where he blasted off in the air, his left foot going so far up that he could've touched his forehead.

Lighting trickled down from the tip of his left leg and down to his right foot. The poles on his back moved upwards, exploding him down over Orion. 'Only have chances to dodge. Guess this is the problem of facing fast opponent..' Orion's figured seemed to get dragged away just a split second before Zach's foot planted itself in the ground.

Infused with electricity, the ground folded in on itself then exploded into several different sized pieces, some big and others small. Electricity rung out in the explosion of debris as the ground kept shaking and deforming.

Faintly gliding back in the air, Orion thought, 'Bro is causing scenes you'll only see happen in animations... Didn't know one could actually replicate that in real life..' Just then through the cloud of dust that surrounded a large area, Orion could see an 'X' shaped highlighted light of yellow.

Balls of yellow light randomly flashed in the cloud of dust and then, turned red. Standing on the ground with his right arm out, Zach fired a beam of red concentrated plasma energy at Orion. The pressure and backlash of the laser caused the ground below him to sink in a bit.

Orion reacted by appearing on a floating piece of debris just next to where he had been in the air. The beam curved toward him however as if it was following him.

'Damn, he's very persistent...' Orion did a backflip onto the other side of the floating rock and was then propelled into a mountain side by the force of the beam.

The beam of course destroyed the rock and was hitting Orion dead in the center of his chest. 'A hit connected finally..' Zach thought as he slightly increased the output of energy.

Watching from the beach, some students became distressed as first, they knew that the beam could cause a great deal of damage to probably anything it touches and second, they couldn't see Orion through the flares of the plasma beam.

"Sh-Shouldn't someone stop him?"

"Yeah, he could seriously get hurt couldn't he?"

"Hey, someone needs to step in!"

The students were really worrying. Their faces however contradicted the easy going expressions the teachers had on their faces. "Don't uh...yeah, don't worry about him too much guys. He'll be fine.." Hearing Cathleen, the number one, say that reassured some students, but they still felt uneasy deep down.

"See look. He's fine.." She pointed back to the screen and the students looked. The beam had died down and they could see a busted up Orion stuck in a rocky wall with an expression of confusion on his face. Not pain, no tears to be seen, he's not even worried that his chest is showing to all of them.

'He's perfectly fine?! How the hell..?!' Students thought on the same sort of wave length. 'That..' Orion looked down at his chest and saw that he had a small bruise which produced a single drop of blood. 'All of that for a drop of blood? Mane...'

Orion threw his arms out then his legs, falling down onto the ground below. 'Wha-? He's perfectly fine?! No way... That beam could melt through steel itself! There's no way for a human to survive that..' Zach landed on the cracked field which Orion had been on.

"Who the hell are you." Zach's said after his mask came up off his face and rested on his forehead. "You must not be human. An alien? That'll explain all that weird technology you have..." Orion was dusting off his torn clothes as Zach kept speaking.

"Did you seriously just ask am I human? Well, duh, I am. But so what if I was an alien. There's people who actually look like them in this world, y'know?" The small wound which was no bigger than an ant had healed. 'He's right, shit! But he's not normal is what I mean!'

"What is considered normal bro? I mean, 80 percent of the people in this world have unnatural powers. We're way too far from normal, aren't we?"

"The hell? You can read my mind? What the hell is your quirk? Not only does it give you superhuman enhancements, but also makes you able to read minds? I'm curious.."

"Meh, take a gander. Or should I reveal it to you? Wouldn't make much of a difference, I guess.." That being said, Orion didn't explain it. 'I'll just search it up later. For now, let's see how far I can push him. He can react to lightning, but is he just as fast as it too..?'

You can react to a speeding car(depends on many factors), but your obviously not faster than one. Take it in that bullcrap logic/sense.

"Hey, when I hacked you earlier, I got into your history.." Orion looked all around, then with a sweat, back at Zach. "Y-You did, did you? You didn't uhm..find anything weird though so I ain't trippin'" Orion whistled while looking away.

Trying to play this situation off however only amused Zach even more, saying, "To think people like to get off to the things we walk on. A sad, sad world we live in..."

"Sh-Shut up! Don't blame me for not having regular taste! Regular porn is soooo boring! Freaky kinks and fetishes is what makes it truly interesting.."

Cathleen and Hikari face palmed while the students no longer felt remorse for him. "Uh,..okay then. Well, bye-bye then. An item has my name on it and I should claim it.." His mask fwipped back down and Zach turned around.

"No.." Zach looked over his shoulder and saw Orion, fist bawled and his head down. "I CAn'T lEt you GeT AwaY...WITh aLl thAT valuable pOrN..." Activing the back pipes infuse with electrical currents, Zach darted away and Orion...

He followed.

He'd do anything...to get that search history back...
